    Hello, I have a short question, and I have to sell my second car, because this is a petrol truck and I have to commute between Dresden and Bayer from January, because my girlfriend has to go to Bavaria for work! So now I am looking for a diesel that doesn’t consume much! What does a volvo v70 consume with 140 hp? or other engines, if I roll with 120 or so the train long? I have (SORRY an Alle) now driven to Bavaria with a pass of 110Ps and had an average consumption of 5.2 liters! Thanks to all the greetings from Dresden

  • AHK installation without lifting platform

    Moin Moin, was able to get a used Westfalia AHK for my V70 incl. E-set. I already have instructions. Question is whether ́ne lift is required, or it facilitates the work “only”. My T4 was higher, and I managed well without. Second question: In the instructions it says that models from ́99 on need the Westfalia part 920040631001. Can someone tell me exactly what that is?     …clearly I know that the system works rather gesogeil (had it been wurst in a thread itself), but since it was installed in my old Volvo and I’m a confessing equipment fetishist, I wanted to know if this is more like a plug and pray thing or incredible headstand? Don’t know how, but in winter it seemed to have done quite a good job when it was about hanging the cars of the friends on the snowy mountain. -In conjunction with the best winter tires I think you can get on the Central European market.   • Volvo XC60 D3 automatic or circuit

    Hello, I ordered a new Volvo XC60 in the summum equipment this week. I’m very happy when the car is there, probably it’s ready in March. I ordered a D3/150 hp diesel with manual transmission, but I still have about 2 weeks to switch to automatic transmission. I drive over 200 kilometers every day, of which a large part on the motorway with a speed of 120-130 km/h. I can therefore not completely ignore the cost of fuel. That’s why I decided to use the hand switch because I think I’m on the road with my track profile cheaper than with the automatic transmission. Am I right or wrong? Probably the motor would be on the road with the automatic transmission on the motorway with lower speeds, but the automatic also eats power. I hope someone can give me information.

  • Vine ribbed belt torn engine damage

    Can someone help me !!?? Volvo xc 60 D5 AWD Summum First registration 2010 After my air conditioning has given up the mind and I wanted to have the damage repaired in a free workshop, which specializes in Kliemaanlagen, I was told that the velcro belt is torn, the air conditioning compressor is blocked and needs to be renewed, we are renewing both velcro belts and the air conditioning compressor. Wonderful !!!!!! After a month the whole engine gave up the mind when driving in the city. First I saw that the big NEW velcro belt, which is connected to the lighting machine etc., was torn and had my best friend dragged into the workshop. There it turned out that the steel wires that have dissolved in the velcro belt have wandered into the housing of the tooth belt and cut the tooth belts. Now I stand there with a motor-total damage and do not know if the air conditioning man has misfitted the belt! Now in a VOLVO contract workshop and that cannot fully resect how the damage is incurred. I will remain on the job now.

    Hello, I’ve been driving a Discovery sport for 4 years. The vehicle is going back now and it has to be something new. I can now take an XC60 or Discovery sport for exactly the same amount. I was very happy with the vehicle but driving the same vehicle again would not be a new attraction. In my well-known circle everyone feels the Land Rover brand of higher quality than Volvo. Do you see that as well? OK, the question in a Volvo forum may be a bit difficult.

  • V60 2.0T – Experiences!?

    Hello! I have used the search function and also read every “petrol topic” here to possibly get experiences with the 2.0T. I know that it is titulated as “dry”, “weak” and as “badest gasoline from Volvo”. But are there drivers who are satisfied here? Or like to report to me a little bit about your experiences? I have it now 1900 kilometers and came from the V50 D2 which we were absolutely undermotorized. I wanted a V60, because more valuable, more modern and better equipped. Is a momentum with some extras. I wanted a little more performance – not to race (with 2 kids), but to spontaneously accelerate and possibly drive a certain distance quickly. I did not know how to give away with the engines at Volvo so well. But the leasing rate and the whole offer were very tempting. That’s why I decided for 2 years V60 2.0T. I would be interested now. as already said- whether there are drivers here who like to report to me about the 2.0T, but have something to do not have a positive experience, but to thank you.
