Yesterday I picked up my new XC90 T8 Recharge (Comfortsitze Nappalder grau) As a long-time Volvo customer with great anticipation of the typical leather smell – which was missing however. Also haptically neither seats nor leather steering wheel felt as usual – I come directly from a V90 MJ 2017. On demand at the I was enlightened that Volvo apparently only uses more faux leather. Since in the price list is leather / faux leather, they should have the Volvo Austria also confirmed to me. But especially the steering wheel feels gruesome – definitely plastic. Can Volvo really replace that? Leather so easily against vinyl? Also in the price list MJ23 stands still nappa leather. Originally wanted to switch to Audi (E-Tron) and am just really angry at Volvo.

Buying Volvo?
Hello, I’m thinking of getting a Volvo V40. Should my first (own) car be, since I’m a student money also plays a role. I saw that there are quite well equipped V40s (climate, cruise control, leather) starting from 1000€, but with relatively high running speeds ~180,000km+. Is it nevertheless recommended, if these models are properly maintained? Because of control (and consumption) I would prefer one of the smaller engines (1,8L 122hp). Or are the 2.0l engines more robust? Are around 8-10l consumption realistic? Is the maintenance too expensive? Or is it worth it to get a V70? Budget is about 2500, too. Thank you for the effort in advance greetings!

Volvo v40 t starts cold only with help
My v40 has only started very badly for a week. It’s one with gas and petrol. I did: petrol pressure regulator changed. Temperature sensor changed. New spark plugs New ignition coils throttle valve cleaned airfilter new suction nozzle cleaned Exactly it looks like it doesn’t start cold at all but you notice that it somehow wants to be very short. Warm it is a lucky thing to give gas. Under operating temperature it jumps well when I have to run on petrol on gas also not at all. Can someone help me further? In addition, it goes on gas in the standGas constantly out because I have a climate then it starts with 500 revolutions With the help of my start-up spray

Consumption 2.4D and D5 with DPF in comparison to the old D5
Hello, I don’t want to encourage a stupid “what consumes mine and yours” discussion. I’m only interested in experiences, how the consumption of the older 163hp generation to the new 163 and 185hp with DPF is assessed, the same way of driving. The revised engine is generally described as smoother and with the 400NM in the 185hp version significantly stronger. Also the new automatic seems to be better. Background, I’m already interested in the new S80 with diesel engine (preferably as D6 *g*). My personal and annoying assessment is that the DPF engines are always thirstier than the same without DPF. Experience values would please me. Thank you already in advance. many greetings Roger

New XC90 ordered!
Hi to everyone! So, now I have done it… After I found so many positive impressions about the new D5 here in the forum and my friend me after tough negotiations, then still 15% discount as well as a very fair offer for my first big guy, I couldn’t help but… Ordered I: XC90 D5 (136kw) 185 PS diesel-particle filter 5-seater summum automatic gearbox 6-Gang Geartronic roof rail parking aid back speedabh. Power steering sapphireblackmetallic leather Anthrazit RTI navigation system side window doors made of composite glass Subwoofer drop engine designation delivery date: December 05. So hopefully it lies in time under the fir tree. Have also been like picture chief (I trust here quite his good feel for quality) for the Panther C5 of 3M as tinning foil for the rear and/or rear side windows decided to ride it again. Price incl. assembly: 300 Euronen. I’m very excited about how the Elch with the new engine and the self-grilling machine does not give me a good look at the automatic transmission.

defective injection nozzle/ injector at V50 1.6d
Hello, my V50 was now twice because of defective injection nozzles in the workshop. I noticed the defect, that the car when the engine was running and warm was always extremely cooled for oil. The engine compartment was also filled with oil. Now my question, how many injection nozzles did it have? Are there four? And is the problem known at the 1.6d. If a nozzle is defective, is only changed or the whole set? Were every time strong invoices, in total around 1000€. Although I did not have to pay, the used car guarantee has taken over. Who knows what? Mfg ronnyv50

Squeaking with running engine WITHOUT load
Hello, I have the next problem with my C70 T5. During the ride, the warning light for “gas cleaning system” flashed several times and then went out again. One day after that, the lance went on permanently and at the same time I hear a squeaking / grinding noise when I’m driving slowly along house walls or guardrail. The noise stops as soon as I give gas. I was able to locate the noise in the standing car. It comes to the right of the engine from the deep. It sounds like grinding or tyres. When the engine is switched off, the noise runs out slowly. So it has to be a rotating part, which makes this noise and brings the warning lamp to light up at the same time. However, I haven’t noticed any performance problems yet. I have thought of the turbocharger under consideration. A blower or other part of it wasn’t immediately the exhaust lamp to light up. Do you have any idea what it might be? I’ll definitely make an appointment with the friendly and wait for the Volvo Pro Garantihilfe…

C70 II + D5, switch or automatic?
Hello people I’m currently thinking about getting a C70 II. The D5 has a Sate 50 Nm more as a switch, so it would have to run twice as well as an automatic one. But now it’s like a brand new one for a week (I was the first to drive it) S80 D5 with a manual switch. And now I’m driving a V70 II EZ 12.12.2005 (delivered 09.12.05) MY 06 with also 185 hp diesel engine, but this time with the 6-speed GearTronic. Subjectively this is going much faster from 0 to 100 as the more recent S80 II with HS – despite automatic one. Can someone please report to me here his experiences with the C70 II, which has driven the D5 both as a hand switch and as an automatic one? Thank you already in advance! Gruss Howard P.S.: And no, I don’t know the board search!

V 50, Flexi Fuel, consumption speed
Hello, for 1 month I have been driving my new V 50, with the 125 HP Flexifuel machine. Now I have the following questions: Is it normal that the engine is already running at speed 160 with almost 5000 revolutions? Unlike my old V 40 with 116 hp, the V 50 extem is more revolving, I am surprised. At 160 he had only about 4000 revolutions. He has now nearly 2200 kilometers down, purrs like a cat, but besides the increased speed is also the consumption still very immense. I am in the city almost 12 liters and also on the BAB he is still at 11 liters, if one steps it in the meantime. By the way, if I have filled E 85. I have heard that the consumption should decrease from 5000-6000 Klometer running power. Has any of you made similar experiences? Or do we have other opinions or suggestions? By the way, we have allowed to change oil properly after almost 1700 kilometers. Otherwise we are highly satisfied, since we have the momentum execution plus the Select Package. New shoes for the bitch
Since my bitch has accompanied me through the weekend without murmuring and also quite dynamically, she now has a wish for me. And what do the women (sorry, the ladies of course): Rischtisch, Schuhe. She would have seen something “nettes roundes quite in black….” and that would be sooo dressable this summer” and “all her friends already have new ones”…. The bitch is a 850 T-5R and wears shoe size 205/45/17 on Titan I need a good all-rounder, sporty yes, but no race track, with reasonable price-performance ratio. Who has had good experiences with which tire? Who drives e.g. Hankook Evo ? How does this look like with track spreads on the HA? What can I do without blazing? If I am properly informed, 2cm per page should funnel, right? Greeting Michael
