  • Instrument lighting C70

    Hello together, one or the other of you may find my question a bit peppy or petty now, but in my opinion the instrument lighting in the current C70 is a little unhappy. If you go for example into a tunnel, you don’t see anything for several seconds, because the lighting of the instruments is rather delayed at first. Often I have the problem even at dusk, where you have to drive until it is dark enough. Since the tacho is still very deep or far back in this “cave” and the newer models have these silver tacho rings with inserted numbers, this is not very conducive for visibility. With my previous C70 II from 2007 the lighting was almost always on, even if the light was switched on and there was not this inreadability. With the current model, this is coupled to some twilight sensor, which also affects radio and Navi. Does anyone have any idea if you can change that somehow? I have next week customer service and would like to change that somehow…. Thank you for your help!

    Drive a used car for almost 2 years. Since then, the vehicle has proved to be a savings box – why money on the bench – it is nevertheless more beautiful in the car: -brakes around (o.k., wear at 145tkm – as often with previous owners, no idea) -ATL (allegedly due to DPF according to ATL manufacturer at approx.160tkm “normal” -DPF (changed at 120tkm – but is normal -track and fall set at 160tkm, since tires are worn inside – outside as new… -backside cross handlebars exchanged -power clothilter with housing exchanged, leaks (air bubbles) -Rossel flap (regeneration DPF) there leaks -turbo hose oily – cuffs leaks – only completely available… -LK leaks – still exchanged -climate condenser at 200tkm.

  • Volvo XC 60 2.4 DRIVe – noises after launch

    Hello, I drive an XC60 2.4 DRIVe, which is almost 2 weeks old and has 700 km on the tacho. When I start the car by means of a start/stop button, there is a “sound” noise that can be heard twice, which, according to my interpretation, is mechanically metallic and can be heard primarily inside. At first I thought of setting the Xenon headlights, but unfortunately I couldn’t make them out to be an evildoer. Do you also have these sounds that occur just a short time after the start? Does anyone have any idea what these sounds could cause? a “less-advice and unsuspecting” Frank PS: Otherwise I am very satisfied with the car as the first intermediate conclusion!

  • New V70 D5 AWD GT, fan noise/cooker/noise/fuel

    Hello together, I wanted to tell you a lot of things about that. For about 4 weeks I’ve had my new V70 D5 (205 hp) AWD GT. The car is also equipped with a heater. From the beginning there was always a clearly audible noise, especially when the engine was cold. After a few minutes the noise was gone? That sounded like a fan was kind of grinding. I went to the dealer, he meant and again when it bothered. In the last two weeks the noise was getting louder then, you could even feel certain vibrations in the vehicle interior. Interestingly, that the noise disappeared as soon as I switched off the ventilation completely, so the fan turned to zero. Then last Sunday a very unpleasant smell came to me because in particular the smell occurred to me. I had thought that there was something flawed. The Volvo people have told the car to shut down the 2 days and that somehow the problem would be related to the problem.

    Hello municipality, I know, I know that there are already numerous contributions on the topic Xenon, but they all somehow get caught up in detailed questions. Since I can change something for a few days when ordering, here’s my urgent question: Xenon, yes or no? Is the extra charge worth it? I could do without the electric chair and would probably take only momentum instead of summum (plus sound system and rims) That would be a considerable saving.   • Price difference sunscreens 16 Euro!!!!

    Hello everyone! I’m thinking about whether I should get the sunscreens!!!! Have a look at how much they cost and then I immediately lifted the lid on my head. My friend wanted to have enough 77 euro only for the rear doors. I went straight into the net and looked at what the Volvo.at cost—> there is 61 euro HOW DOES THAT DOES IT????? that the dealer is even more expensive by 16 euro than the ones in the net! Maybe one of you will know why that is??? Or maybe one of you has a couple at home that he doesn’t need anymore??? And of course I’m even sharper on Volvo.de—-> 75 euro! That’s too bad.
