Hello to each other, I just bought the Volvo, V50 with the 136PS 2.0D Bj. 2004 with 158,000km. Test drive and transfer drive to my home was running like smeared, even under load there were no problems. Now the car was standing in front of my house for about a week, because I only got an appointment at the registration office this Friday. When I showed it a few times to my friends, the engine also did not cause any problems. He only indicated for a few days that the battery is almost empty, so I had let it hang on to the charger since then. Today the DVDs arrived for the Navi. I wanted to try them again, because he still showed me that the battery is almost empty and that I did not let me into the Navi because of the power pair mode, so I thought I just started the car and make it fast with the running engine. So now I’ve let it start again again, because it’s still normal and after about 5 seconds just went off. I tried to let it start again, but it really started again.

VOLVO RTI TCM abroad
Problem No. 3 After the dealer of the Navi computer was changed and now also the TMC function is working, I calmed down on the way. Unfortunately, I came to Croatia at the end of the Slovenian motorway near Koper in a 2 hour border traffic jam. TMC exists in Slovenia. Does the Navi (as usual for me) switch to a new local FM transmitter at the border or do you have to do it yourself? In the menu I see nothing and the manual is silent about this topic.

XC60 Corrosion protection
Hello! Our Volvo family has grown, an XC60 Ocean Race in the beautiful Oceanrace blue – the perfect color for the car and the beautiful leather equipment in antrazith (has more whistle than the R-design equipment, simply fresher. As an edrive with 163 hp it is super motorized and leaves nothing to be desired. What bothers me, however, is the fact that the painting is apparently only breathed on!!! Everywhere only primed sheet metal, underbody, behind the claddings in the luggage compartment, engine compartment! Even if you open the doors is only that lacquered on that you look directly! With previous Volvo models everything was still painted, can you order today a new XC60 as an option with full painting?? How about the durability?? Has someone already reworked (underfloor protection/welling rooms?) Thank you for notes. Helge

V60 D3/D4
Evening, I come from the Mercedes warehouse and tarpaulin in the foreseeable time to switch to a Volvo V60 as an annual car. I did test drive – with the old D3 GT. Was so far extremely pleased. However, I now have a few questions. Basically it is that I had only petrol-powered cars so far – but diesel really likes me better. The problem is that I usually only drive between 8-15,000km a year and my work path with 6km is simply not diesel-friendly. Now it’s the case that today’s diesel puts this away in large and overall nevertheless very well. But how about the Volvo diesels? I have heard a lot of oil thinning and similar in connection with short distance short life and so on. How do your experiences look? In short time I thought about a T3. But it seems to me now something too weakly, especially out of the top?! How is the power shift/GT with the gasoliners? One reads positive times negatively… How are the switching gears? Auto magazines not really good – how objectively the statement is to be true?

Configuration Volvo V60
Hello, Since I have to get new generation a combo, and I have decided for a Volvo V60. I have now tested 2 pieces, an Ocean Race and an R-Design, both unfortunately with automatic. I really liked the dynamics of the R-Design now, and I am about to configure one. But I still need some help from the Volvo veterans. Volvo V60 D4 R-Design with manual switching -Saphir Black -Leather Anthrazit -Motion Pack (RTI, parking aid front and rear, 7 inch Navi & High Performance Sound) -Winter Pack (Adaptive Xenon Light, heitzte Frontsitze) -Electrically fold-in exterior mirror -Darked rear and side discs -Rain sensor -Dachreling Anthrazit What’s the difference between high performance sound and premium sound? Is high performance ‘good enough’ if you like to listen to music? Do the built-in child stiz booster on the ruecksitzen something?

V 60 restless steering
Dear reader, I have the feeling that the steering wheel reacts very restless and sensitively, especially at higher speeds and in bends, which leads to a subjectively uncertain driving feeling. Since my V60 D5 AWD is unfortunately not equipped with the driving dynanic package, I lack in the setup the adjustment of the speed-dependent steering. Now good advice becomes expensive. – Do you think that the “driving feeling” changes by the installation of a dome strut (I am with the R in the package).

New CR-V in current Auto Motor Sport
How good the new CR-V is, seems to surprise even the rec players of the Auto-Motor-Sport. Only in this way can I explain that the CR-V in the current edition is spoken in places with stupid examples bad. It is about the design at the beginning, according to the author without character. I can’t understand at all, clearly design is subjective, but would nevertheless claim that the absolute majority finds the CRV very good. The author even thinks that Mazda and Toyota have a better design language…ts Then, strangely, the 2.2 diesel is spoken badly, the “could be a little less consuming and more cultivated like the TDIs of VW” is called meaningfully. At the same time, the AMS has called the engine in the Accord once exactly as “world’s best diesel engine”. In conclusion, the price comes to the speech: “35,000 EUR, that was once 70,000 DM”. Such a weakness, to take into account at all. Of course, the CRV is not a super fast, but two pages is about a permanent test, but the price of the A-V.

Why Honda of all people?
Hello, I’ve been reading and writing here in the forum since a short time. I’d be interested in how you came to Honda since, there are so many brands, and why it had to be Honda. To answer the question from my side … I started with Astra F and later for age reasons to switch to the Model G (the predecessor of the current Astra models) . The last Astra started after a little more than 4 years to spin, the 100 tkm were also almost reached, time to buy a new car, but this time not Opel but Citroen. So the C4 was my new mobile kit. From well-known surveys the Xara or Picasso drove, no problems were reported to me. Unfortunately I saw this after numerous workshop visits differently . At some point stood at the intersection, a hot place ( no, no woman, a car ). I could unfortunately only see it from behind, but I noticed the brand and the type well. Since Honda was known for reliable cars and probably also still is, the conclusion was almost pleasing to me. When I looked at the car then it was nice to see it in the future.

Sliding roof does not close completely after engine shutdowns
After a ride with an open SD I usually think about closing the SD only after the engine is switched off (“key” is still stuck). After pressure on the switch the SD drives forward, but leaves a 10-12 cm wide gap open. Turn on the ignition again, close the remaining 10 cm, ignition off, frowns. I recently presented this to the workshop manager, who was very amazed and recommended me to report the problem Volvo. I did this about 1 month ago by e-mail (to [email protected]) – zero reaction to today. Now I have 2 questions: Thank you already!
