Hello people ! I want to order a V60 or V70 at the beginning of next year, at the moment I tend to the V60, because I don’t need sooo much space in the car anymore. I tend to the engine after my current D5 again to the petroler. But my question would actually be, after I have already studied the price and equipment list now, which tips and tricks should be taken into account in the configuration, I think that the base at V60 and V70 should be the Momentum equipment and then should be added accordingly to get the best price-performance ratio, as I already appreciate a well-equipped car (Xenon, metallic,Keyless, 18 inches etc). Are there any experiences new S60 Navi compared to RTI ?? How is your opinion and are there still special tips ?? Many greetings and a nice Sunday !

Volvo V50 2.0D or 1.8 petrol
Hi, I’m a bit perplexed. I would like to treat myself to a V50, but I don’t know if the 1.8 petrol or 2.0 diesel. (from the price would be the diesel ceiling). In this context also my next question whether someone has experience with EU import cars (sometimes significantly better equipped) regarding good addresses, problems with German workshops, warranty claims etc. as a small thank you for reading, tips or possible help the following joke: What do you do if the mute-in-law he’s going for you???? He’s here!
Moin Together, so since 10:30 am I am now also V50 – driver! Here’s the first impression: The most important: everything delivered as ordered! MY2007 Black rims Caligo Momentum 2.0D seat heating DALA/Textil –> anthracite Business Mobility Pack (phone, Navi etc.) The car is really well processed and the high performance system is really powerful. Rarely heard such a good serial system. Since we in the company also nn V50 MY06 have the visible differences here: – turn signal covers in the A Mirrors larger and slightly differently designed – MP3 – Radio with AUX input – Interior lightening unit at the front top completely redesigned – Somehow the mounting of the exterior mirrors seems to be different, at least so… Otherwise I can’t say much, except that he had 13km on the speedometer. To the other values and driving characteristics there is information after the first kilometers! Pictures still follow!! Greetings and a nice weekend! SideWinder80

Wooden steering wheel and decorative inlays in walnut root wood
Hello forum, after a long time it is now time, I would like to order a new S60 Momentum. In the interior I thought of a wooden steering wheel in 3 spokes design and the decorative inserts in walnut root wood. Now my question, how does such a wooden steering wheel feel (cold, slippery,…) and are the decorative inserts in walnut root wood recommended (quality and appearance)? Thank you for your answers.

Winter tyres XC70
Dear XC70 drivers, as in another thread, I ordered an XC70 edition in the old year. Although there are a lot of threads for winter tyres in general and especially for the XC70, but I would like to hear your current opinions. In advance: The edition comes with 17” (215/60) summer tyres on aluminum. What’s wrong with driving on the XC70 with 17 Zoellern even in the winter? Are the 17” also free for snow chains? Or is it generally better, in the win In the snow etc. prefer to drive 16” (215/65) instead of 17”? For the simplicity of half steel rims (but only for 16”, or are there other reasons, which speak for light metal rims (overheating of the brakes, steering behaviour, …)? 17” I also think about it, so that I can later install a better brake system from Heico (but first test the standard brake in everyday operation). And to the tyres: I drive a lot of long distance (motorway, Somme). r like winter), but I am also almost every weekend in the mountains. In a winter like last year (which is still waiting for you) so also every weekend with snow / mud / ice on the way. From the accessories and various tests that I have read, the following tires have emerged as favourites for me, with each small conclusion: Pirelli Scorpion Ice & Snow: very good winter tires and also everywhere strong, but high wear / roll resistance and. Designed as 4×4 WR. Very popular with XC90, sometimes different opinions in the MT-Forum whether good or bad. Michelin Pilot Alpin PA2: very good dry tire, slightly worse than the best WR for wet and snow, extremely durable. Not extra for 4×4. Dunlop 3D: all solid, not extra for 4×4. Continental 4×4 winter contact: all solid, extra for 4×4. Michelin Latitude Alpin: very good dry tire, otherwise rather below average, very durable, e xtra for 4×4. Tendually, not track-bound tires could be better for me, as I have such a driveway from which I always have to go backwaerts, over a short steep driveway…and in winter the regularly full of snow. What meaning does it have whether a tire is specially designed for 4×4? Would I be glad if you could give me tips so that I can place the order with my owner. Thank you, Gruesse, Eduard.

ISOFIX – Preparation V 50
Hello, for the current occasion a question to the fathers (mothers) here in the forum. According to the equipment list, the V50 has an Isofix – preparation for the child seat – attachment. What does that mean concretely? According to my understanding, these are metal bars, which are firmly connected to the body and into which the seat is then locked. However, I could not find them in my V50 (MJ 06). Did I understand something wrong? Greetings LuThu.

Inspection+air conditioning system
Hello, must next week for inspection after 2 years (35,000km). Cost point according to information F.: 450 Euro incl. VAT. and brake fluid change On my question, whether the air conditioning is checked with, the F. explained to me that would cost extra 100 Euro. With this would be lubrication of the compressor and refrigerant change. In the normal inspection this is not included, however, it would be usual to have the air conditioning checked especially every 2 years. Or is it enough for 3 years. Greetings Moz V50 2.0D 05/2004
