Last night I drove home from a colleague and tried out the V-Max. My colleague is with a TT Quattro (250hp) in front of me and wondered afterwards that I can still follow him at 230. My speedometer indicated 225. On the levels he then went down to 220 but then kept the speed. So when I parked the car at home in the garage, after about 20km of highway with an average 170km/h, stank the pretty. I had the impression , that it was the clutch or the brakes. Ask yourself, does your car stink even after a quick AB ride? if so what do you think stinks like that? For info it is a 2.0D with RPF.

Motor control light since today on Volvo XC90 3.2 Summum MY07
Hello, since last week I bought an XC90 3.2 Summum MY2007, unfortunately some errors have occurred now…Since today the engine control light, in the error memory (read out with VIDA) are stored three errors, once errory software electric driver seat adjustment does not work, yellow then still stored air quality sensor internal error air conditioning without function, red stored temperature sensor internal error ambient air temperature check the Funkti On the outside mirror function limited…. red I found yesterday that the temperature sensor in the driver’s mirror (with BLIS) is defective, the cable is dead. Already ordered new. The normal outside temperature display in the instrument cluster seems to work properly. Furthermore, I found that the sound module/power amplifier only gives an output signal for the tweeters. Did anyone have such problems here? What is really broken? Where does the air quality sensor sit at m XC90?Like the S60 in the front under the wipers? Where is the outside temperature sensor for the instrument cluster, is this possibly defective? Please for help, this is my first XC90 with V70I and II,C70 I,V50 and S60 I know myself, had the cars already all or, I still have. Thanks for every post!!!

Light vibrations at 2-3000 U
Hello together! I have some problems with my XC90! It was built in 2006, D5, automat and ran 178 tkm. I drove a longer highway route last week and felt very light vibrations when accelerating, which at first felt like a power loss. I then got off the track and I missed everything relevant. Engine speed in idle, oil level, past blowing injectors, noises from the turbo. Nothing eye-catching! I thought sh I had hallucinations and wanted to go on. There I have the funny effect when starting, so at 2-2500 U already again. A bit unnerved I latched on the gas and immediately the effect was gone. I then rolled home relaxed at 140. Hardly off the highway, I had of course in the city traffic immediately this effect again, but I made it home with a little more gas and some ignorance. By light much then looks at me up the upper engine bearing. It was full of Thanks to Polar, I had a new bearing and new torque supports in a very short time, unfortunately it didn’t help. Maybe the effect can’t be felt so clearly now, but it’s still there. From my point of view, it has to be a defect somewhere in the drive train, because the effect only occurs under load. Forward more intensely than backward. Before I start to exchange any parts on suspicion, I would like to have your opinion. Thank you already – No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

Different steel grades XC70/90 …?
Hi together, stumble just over the remark “… the roof of the XC90 is composed of Boron steel, which Volvo notes is four times stronger than conventional steel.” I find it interesting that the roof of the XC90 4x is more stable than that of an XC70. However, since the entire XC90 roof construction is larger and in case of an overlay it must carry more own weight of the XC90 body, I guess the impact on the passenger cell will remain similar (hopefully be i both XCs always sufficient).Tschau Torsten – the XC fan (and talking foreign today)

XC 90 whistles with open driver window
Have now my big one about 1 week. Since I do not open my passenger window during the temperaturs I have only come across it with a slight mistake today. I opened the window of the driver’s side at about 50 km/h half what was acknowledged to me with a loud whistle through the wind. Also in other positions 1/4, 3/4 etc. – loud whistle. Is this normal? Do you have this problem too? Greeting to Alle Xual (…who was not allowed to sell the elk sticker)

Freezing windshield wiper XC60
Hello municipality, in general I am very happy with the moose (especially now also with the AWD). BUT: Yesterday it was minus 10 degrees and it snowed. Now the following happens: The snow, which is pushed from the wiper direction A-pillar, is there more and more, because it can not get away and freezes, because there is no disc heating (as with the SEAT Altea e.g.). If the wiper moves down, it takes again snow and pushes it down completely, where to the disk auc h no warm air comes, it freezes again. So the wiper blade takes some snow with each wipe, freezes and you don’t see anything anymore. Do you have a solution for the problem? Grease wiper blades with lätta or something? Before questions come up: The air vents below the bonnet were free, but I guess that at -10 degrees the exhaust heat of the diesel engine is not enough to thaw the wiper. LG vom erzbmw

Wipe and washing system: liquid consumption
Hello together, I have the feeling that I have an enormous wischiwashi water consumption (XC60MY09, Xenon). In the operating manual this is also a hint about the high consumption in connection with the headlight washing system. Supposedly this should therefore only be activated every 5th time. However, I have the impression that the system is activated much more frequently. Is there a difference, for example, whether the washing function is pressed only briefly or longer? Will the meter for the Resetting alleged 5 cycles when activating the rain sensor, or letting the windscreen wipers wipe regularly? What experiences have you had with it?

Wrong delivery XC70
The dealer forgot to set a cross at XENON when he ordered the vehicle. Car built and delivered, at the handover only noticed that only halogen is installed. I would have liked the XENONCurve light, but I really don’t know how to behave in this case. A retrofitting option is vehemently denied. What would you do?

Timing belts fall off, is there any guarantee?
Hello everyone, Today my V70 I TDI BJ:97 of the timing belts fell off (in the city area).Did it immediately notice at the traffic light.I stood there as a dull lumps or cracks to be heard. At first to a defective tire, because the steering was heavy.Circa 30 meters further was a gas station, there it is now.More I couldn’t do, it didn’t go faster.Unfortunately I don’t know if the engine is gone or not.The car now has 184 tkm..In Oct.2007 I had at ATU with 152 tkm.Zah In the meantime, there are approx.30 tkm.runder.Is there still a warranty ?Finally, ATU has to give a guarantee for the performance!? Maybe someone else has to stick to it, because in March 2010 I had brought the elk to the friendly Volvo dealer to have the dynamic pump adjustment and the actuator for the heating flaps checked or adjusted with the engine tester. Is there a connection or do I just imagine what a . he will proceed ?
