Hello Moose friends, I have been thinking about which of the two systems is more practical for some time. Not in the bright day and sunshine, but in the night or in poor visibility. Which is better when parking/returning? How are your experiences? P.S. I will also ask this question in the XC40 forum, maybe there are more answers/impressions coming together.

Volvo Factory Warranty Plus
Moin, Since January, the Volvo Factory Warranty Plus 1-3 years have disappeared in the configurator. In December 22 the still selected – 1890 EUR for 3 years additional factory warranty. Also in the price list only the Volvo Pro connection warranty (Plus) appears. Is the connection guarantee a good “replacement” for the extended factory warranty? Why does Volvo no longer dare to award the factory warranty for a total of 5 years?

Help!!! 98’er Volvo V70, cylinder 3 does not run 🙁
Hi guys, I’m going to be short, it’s going to be long enough: Volvo V70, 1998, 2.4, 144 hp, switch, Km: 340,000 We’ve been driving this faithful sweetheart for about 5 years and for 240.000 km. I started to buy him some goodies a few weeks ago: Then it started: Cylinder No. 3 doesn’t run! : The engine is running. However, quite restless. If you pull off the spark plugs or injector plugs of the individual cylinders, he does what he should and goes to his knees. Achso, Funke is there and the injection nozzle pulled out also smells like crazy So, I am at the end with my Latin. Maybe someone has an idea here… Another thing… where does the injection nozzle actually get its signal? Can it be that this comes at the wrong time? Greeting from Karlsruhe Ulli PS: And if someone needs a 4-cylinder Volvo V70, he can also report

Replacement for C30
I’m already looking for something new next year. There’s plenty of BMW,Golf,A3,usw. of Opel and Ford to choose from. Yesterday I looked at the A1.A nice little car all great but that doesn’t hurt me from the stool it’s missing from all the proportions of a C30.So I keep looking and wait for the T3 110kw-150hp of Volvo for the C30.It could still suit me. and be worth a change. How isr your opinion. Do software update for V70II or better not?
I have an appointment with a Volvo workshop in two days. Our beautiful Volvo V70 II (BJ 2001) with the 2.4l gasoline engine has only been in our possession for 2 weeks. He got a throttle-cleaning from me last week, because he ran a bit restless in the stationary gas (it was only up to about 1500 revolutions high, then stayed on his normal (?) 900 revolutions, but at the traffic light it went down to 500 revolutions … until shortly before going out). Since then he is a few thick L Since the car only saw a Volvo workshop (2001 – first inspection) from the inside (after that only a small workshop), I wanted to know if it is worth it, that it gets an update for the engine control / throttle valve etc.? Here in the forum there is only one contribution, which is rather negative than the conclusion after an update.

Defects, defective.. I think change..
No, what kind of trouble I’ve had with the moose so far… Only a few weeks after the delivery it started already, clapping out of the trunk. It has been fixed. Then during the 20,000 he noticed that the headlights are not right. Has been fixed. Secretly, not even one of me said anything about it. But now at approx. 30,000 the standing light bulb is broken to the right. I wonder what else comes. Stupid is only when I walk I get automatically the 20 05 model, and I like the painted protective strips net. How should I just behave. Maybe I should have posted to the DC E_Class-Forum. They should know about changes. 😉 🙂

Lpg
hi, once again the old topic, which was definitely here already 100 times worked, but I unfortunately could find net. the question is. how much you really save compared SUPER – LPG at the s60 tank volume according to manufacturer for gasoline is 70liter at frank-scan it is called LPG tank 77l but 62l go pure. distance with gasoline which can be travelled are about 800-900km the distance in the LPG operation lies according to frank-scan at 550km cost factor of a tank filling at super = limp 80euron the same with LPG = limp 37euro so you save net really 50 or 55% where it is usually praised everywhere. or is the distance with LPG nevertheless much higher ? p.s.: and if you compare the whole with the diesel it looks even more extreme. Polestar Optimization for new models XC60 2022/2023 B4/B5/B6?
Hello together I am waiting impatiently for the optimizations for the new XC60 Mild-Hybrid engines (B5/B6). I very much hope that these are available soon, when ordering this was unfortunately not the case yet. I have now seen that Polestar on the US side apparently offers corresponding optimizations, otherwise I find no clues or experience with the new engines and Polestar. Probably the ones for Europe and Switzerland still have to be approved. Has someone experience whether and how long can that take? Otherwise a super car and I am very happy with the new XC60 and also with AAOS, even if it still has to fight with a few childhood diseases.

Volvo S80 clutch pedal is heavy to motorway
Hello! I have a strange behavior of the clutch pedal at my Volvo S80 2.4 from 1999. Kilometer level: 146 000 km. If I am on the road from about 18 degrees on warm days, for example, without pressing the clutch for several minutes, then you can only hit the pedal very hard (at the first-second) times. After two times kicking everything is normal again. The warmer it is outside and the longer I am on the highway the harder the pedal becomes. In winter you have the problem also noticed but clearly less. It is probably the first clutch, because I did not find any papers about a change and otherwise got all invoices from the previous owner. Does anyone have an idea for this problem?
