Spring breakage – Replace complete shock absorbers? Costs
Hello, just come from the lift – I have a spring break on the rear right. ATU has made the following offer – please give me your opinion: (Please don’t have opinions like – ATU is anyway crap or something, have made my own experiences) – 2x screw spring incl. installation on the rear 291,08€ The good man pointed out that at the moment the dampers are on offer: -59€ incl. installation/page would mean that I would be almost 400€ for completely new shock absorbers and springs on the rear Is the offer ok? The car is BJ 2001 and has now run about 170,000km. Is it worth it to catch up with other offers (possibly also from Volvo) or is the price real? Thanks and greeting Fabian

C30 rims ATREUS against Cratus/MIDIR
Hello, at the moment I have the ATREUS 17″ rims from Volvo on it. I would like to replace them with the MIDIR 18″ or CRATUS 17″. How much are my rims (normal signs of wear after 2 years) still worth? Should I sell them best with tyres (summer tyres are completely new (1.7.2010), or rather only the rims and the tyres then pull up on the new rims? Current 17″ ATREUS rims 17″ CRATUS rims 18″ MIDIR rims • Which rim looks better on a Volvo C3 0 RDesign (Bj. 08) from ? CRATUS or MIDIR ? I personally like the CRATUS better. • Where do I offer my old rims? • What do I have to consider when I switch to the 18″ rims (of course I have to sell the tyres with the rims because they can not be combined with the 18″ rim, right?) Sorry for all my holes-the-cheese questioning, I have only been in the spell of the C30 and the associated car world for about 3/4 years. ch like to suggest other rims, but I’m more of a guard of the original rims. I mean, that’s just as if you were to remove your emblem on the radiator grille? If you’re taming for your car brand then you shouldn’t choose it at all?

1st gear ticked
Hello. Drive a C30 1.6D year of construction 207 (model 2008). Now I have for a long time the feeling that the circuit is rather tacky. The last days it was very cold in the morning (about minus 6 degrees). I started the car and wanted to switch to the 2nd course. The 1st course went out quite hard and on the way to the 2nd course (still before the empty up) the circuit remained hanging and the gears gnawed – unpleasant noise. The gear barely went out. Somehow it went and I could again A few days later, the same thing happened to me again. What can it be? Is that because of the temperature or is there something over the gearbox. When it is warm, I don’t notice any big switching problems, although I find it is very hard. I’ve been to Volvo Krull several times, but they said it’s all right. Half a year ago, the switching cables were supposedly set, because I had a vibration in the circuit at about 100 km/h in the 3rd gear – which actually also w eg. KM-Stand: ca. 58.ooo km Thank you for your help.

Deactivate/extend/remove/destroy/ V70-2 alarm system…
Hello to each other! I’ve been a proud V70-2 owner for 2 months, built in 2002. I’m very happy with the thing and spend the night in the trunk with folded back seats. Thanks to the heater this works very well even at this time of year, although I recently found out at -4° on the hard way that the heating refuses to service when the tank is on reserve… No matter! The only thing I don’t like is the alarm system. That’s why I’d like to see you! Why? So: -Disable the button to the interior sensor spins a little. Sometimes I have to ignite and turn off up to ten times the engine until it is registered that I have pressed it. -Sometimes it goes off for uninventive reasons. -The LED is annoying when sleeping. Is there a howto somewhere, how I can permanently disable the system? Optimally, so that the decommissioning can undo again if I d I don’t know if you’re going to have to leave a car in an area with a dubious reputation.

XC90 T8 cold engine in pure mode
Hello everyone, I will probably order an XC90 T8 in the next few weeks and therefore also deal with the hybrid system. I drive the whole week short distance max. 15km at a time. Twice a day. Therefore my plan is to get full electric through the week. What happens if the oats sting me and I want to drive fast at the traffic light? I put on power and pedal to the metal. Then the engine is immediately after the cold start under full load, right? Is from the hybrid system a warm up of the engine during the electric driving phase? Thank you in advance for your expert tips!

Which engine for V90CC?
Moin together, in advance: I have some respect for the small, high-charged engine in terms of stability and also tend more to the diesel. Yearly driving power 15-20 tkm (experience value) , but can also be more (not predictable). We drive our cars mostly up to 200…250 tkm mileage. It should definitely be an automatic. How are your experiences with the engines D4 or D5 – what about the T8 – is that a serious alternative? 6-cylinders no longer exist, so I see that. Merci in advance -mgw

Moin Forum I would like to exchange my S212 in the next time for an XC90. It could become a D5 Inscription for the list price of about 80t€. For the next week I have arranged an appointment for the test drive and price discussion. It is to be a full service leasing. Duration 48 months KM/pa 40000 What discount can I expect at the moment? Alternatively, I have the possibility to get 19.5% in leasing via a craft wholesale customer agreement. to consider this option? Thank you for your assessments Greeting Peter

Purchase advice V70 AWD D5 2006
Hello together, I just looked at a used Volvo V70 AWD 185PS D5 with 147,000 km from 2006. The car is quite fully equipped (four-C, leather sports seats electric, Dolby Surround etc..). Now my question is whether the price of 11,000,- (from private) is appropriate. Timing belt + water pump would still be made new. Outside the car has already some blessurs, technical was the test drive (except for strange, doughy steering behavior at highway rides and departures – m a guess: a problem with tracking) fine. What do you think about the price, can you dare it from private? Thank you for your opinion

Volvo S60 R1, summary 2002 140.000 KM
My second Volvo in life – an Italian reimport. The first was the Amazon in 1974. For me, as usual, no defects and complaints. After January 2013 wear parts such as exhaust, all filters, all belts, brake discs (Brembo), coverings, ALL!!! fillers, set of winter and summer tires, new aluminium’s, complete exhaust system, candles, so once all around was replaced, nothing had to be done. I’m satisfied, as it also only an average consumption of 8.5 – 9 liters. It’s the 2.0 l turbo engine. It was originally supposed to be just a test to buy the S60 second generation, but now I know that this will be my last car purchase. In this life at least. This year is only a preparation. It’s not better!!!!
