Hello, is there an installation manual for a Dashcam with hardwire kit on the safety box under the glove compartment (XC90 2017)? I already know how to move along the windshield. Convert T6 to gas?
Moin together, I seem to be one of the few T6s (excellent probably D5 here). Has anyone ever made a conversion to gas in the Volvo or does a statement from Volvo about gas? I have after a good 1.5, years Volvo Selekt warranty, which I do not want to infiltrate. I do not drive as much kilometers (currently thanks to the Bahn100 map only 10tkm a year), but still carry me with the idea to convert to gas. Best regards from the north! Lars

Interconnection of traffic messages
Hello together! I’m new here in the forum, since recently owner of a V90. I’ve been reading with you for a long time, and I’m now addressing a question to you. Actually I’m very happy with the car, but one thing doesn’t work as I expect (or am used to from other cars): the traffic messages are not consistently switched through. If I listen to radio on a station with traffic messages (e.g. OE3, am Austrian), everything fits, the traffic radio gets louder and also up in the Sensus or displayed in the driver’s display. Likewise, if I go from the transmitter to USB. If a traffic update comes, USB playback is interrupted. However, if I am on a transmitter without traffic messages, the traffic messages from other transmitters are not switched. So if I hear OE1 (or switch from OE1 to USB), I do not get any traffic messages anymore. That was definitely no problem in all my previous cars! Does anyone have similar experiences, or an idea to solve it? Thank you in advance for your answers!

defective clutch ?
Hello Cross-Country friends, driving a beautiful XC70 D5, 120kW, 2,5l, year 2005, approx. 275000km for 3 years. Finally, I had to find out that especially in the 3.4.5-speed under a mode of operation between 1500-2000 rpm and then impact-like accelerators (gas pedal fully penetrated) first only the speed rises equally abruptly to approx. 2500-3000 rpm and the speed is slightly delayed. So as if the clutch does not fully transfer the force under these conditions If, however, I accelerate from below, i.e. 1.Gang full throttle / 2.Gang full throttle does not occur this phenomenon! A car master spontaneously tapped on the clutch! What do you say, i.e. how high is the hit rate, or what tests could I still do? If I would have the clutch exchanged with a friend, what do you have to consider (have always read of special tool?!) or what should be exchanged in parallel. Do you want to do this. have a good link, with Besc. Hreibung, Bilder? Could a coupler for approx. 220€ from LUK be obtained by car parts, is it recommended, or rather via Skandix? v70II t5 jerks
Hello, for some time now my 2002er (EZ 25.06.02) V70II t5 in the range of 3-4000 revolutions, especially when I give strong gas. This happens even at low speeds, but also on the train at high speed. Last weekend I had then on the highway with a kickdown and acceleration to speed 190 additionally a blink of the exhaust system warning light (motor symbol). However, that stopped again after a minute to blink. I was then in the V Olvo Werkstatt and had it read out – no error message saved. I then had an exhaust gas test done, because possibly lambda probe defective, – everything ok. As for the ruching I read in the forum of a charging pressure valve. my workshop man told me that this would be documented in case of problems in the fault memory. Is that so? can one check the part somehow for function? The throttle valve is obviously also vulnerable, I have Euro3 in appearance, so it would have to be one of the Magneti Marelli. Will also have the part cleaned once with LM cleaner. Then you want to check the candles, even though they were still found to be good at the last inspection, almost 5000km ago. what else can you check? Thanks for your tips, jojo

S40, T4, Bj 97 turbopipes..?
Hello community bought me a T4, year 97, as a butcher, I drove 420 km, which runs really well : ) but always starting from about 3000 tours starts the loader , I suppose, to whistles . That then becomes higher, if the speed rises, is that normal , did not have that with my C70 2.0t , can someone tell me something about it ? Thanks for the help already

S60 automatic transmission Emergency running program?
Mohltied, has not been here for a long time, but my 2,4 & 2,0 T still run without problems. My concern today concerns the S60 (Bj 2003 – 80,000 km) of my neighbour. He spoke to me and asked for advice on automatic transmissions. However, since I have only a little knowledge about this, I immediately thought of the lively empathy of the forum members. The description of my neighbour is as follows: 1- After starting the switchover the scenery remains dark. So no Aufle If you switch to D, the gearbox responds to the choice with a jerk, and the car moves very hard ahead. 3- The car was read out (mistakes were not mentioned to me!) and after deleting the error everything was bella again. 4- Now the switching scenery is dark again and the points 1 & 2 are on again. Is the tough start for example due to a “emergency run program”? Did you have to have the same or similar experience with your gearboxes? Hope you can help me… Best regards ALEX

XC90 Drowning sounds at approx. 1800/1900rpm
Hello together, I drive a 2007 D5 2.4 185hp automatic. Unfortunately the vehicle roars during the ride at approx. 1800/1900rpm when slightly accelerated. From approx. 2000 RPM it is gone… It is a loud roaring noise no vibration or unbalanced recognizable. I have prophylactically replaced all 5 engine bearings and tested the undersruck system. (This is i.o.) Unfortunately it did not succeed. The noise is only reproducible during the ride. It is not in stand and also when driving on the stage is not coming. (On stage all 4 wheels turn) Flex tube is intact. Unfortunately, the ideas run out. One possibility would be the vibration damper of the cardan shaft. The Volvo dealer meets unfortunately different statements. At first appointment with direct acceptance/test drive the master said: that is annoying, would disturb me too. 1 day later it was said. You hear nothing it is all normal nothing untypical. Maybe you have a tip for me? Or there is someone in the stage Close to Augsburg which knows if this drone is normal for the D5

HU850 is temporarily out
I drive a V70 D5 MY 2006 with full equipment: HU 850, telephone, Navi. Yesterday first time: silence in the car, only a recurring cracking in the speakers at the same time intervals. No radio sound – but all keys work, the CD changer too. After turning off and restarting – there was sound again. Yesterday again – silence. But also the cracking in the speakers. Strangely enough, even when the radio is off… help… what do?
