Fulda GT 2012
After the last GTs always took place quite far in the west of the republic came the other day the desire to organize a GT again in a somewhat more central place, which also allows further east resident to participate. A proven place for this with a very good restaurant is Fulda. Since Torsten no longer has a Volvo he hardly reads with me, but he just signaled his interest in a GT. D5 – refuelling at outdoor or branded refuelling
How do you see that or what do you do: Do you refuel where it is cheap or only with the brand tanks. Is there any concrete experience with the brandless? Reason for my question: my then Mondeo liked so much no Billisprit – especially of the yellow with the 3 letters. Shown by tugging and extra consumption. What do you mean: can I safely tip my D5 into something so unsettling or should I rather stay with brand diesel?

17″ for 16″
Hello guys, on Tuesday my new V70 will be approved and I will pick it up at the dealer. It’s a Sport Edition. This one has the 17″ Tucana rims on it. But because I want to use the 16″ Nodus rims for the following reasons: – better comfort – less rolling noise – small turning circle – Nodus I like better – full-fledged spare wheel – less fuel consumption prefers the 16″ Nodus rims, I asked my dealer if he would put the 16″ rims with spare wheel on it for free. I have just seen that the 17″ rims are probably between 820€ and 1040€ more expensive than the 16″. So I just give away a lot of money. Do you have an idea how much more a dealer can ask for a comfort with the 17″ instead of the 16″ rims? Volvo adapts spare parts prices to the quality!
Price reduction!!!! the tank cover hinge came in 2005 with the article number VO30649879 still gross 11,88 EUR, so I paid this week less than 9 Euro – and that despite 19% tax! Volvo gives 1 year of electricity – Already active?
Hello together Volvo has promised new customers with a PIH to take over the electricity costs in the first year. According to the website, the billing period is May 2020 to May 2021 and the power consumption is to be measured using a new version of the VoC app. Now a short question: Does anyone know if the recording of the electricity consumption has already started or not yet? Brightness 360° View vs Rearview camera in Sensus middisplay at dark
How is that with you: Outside dark, reverse gear in and already the 360° view in the middle display goes on. Unfortunately, in contrast to daylight there is not much to watch, so to park not to use. If I switch on (only) return camera, I can park with it also in darkness, there are much more details, like curb edges, flatstone joints, etc. to see. Is this also so with you, or is it a matter of setting at ? Greetings

my XC90 D5 makes noises when cold – Help
Hello! I noticed that my XC90 in the cold condition when giving gas there are noises of itself.. it is as if there was a vacuum cleaner in the engine room.. so it is not a real howling but rather like a nozzle… when I walk away from the gas, then the automatic switches after a few seconds into the idling mode and as soon as the car is in idle, the nozzle is gone.. after about 20min or 20km it is completely gone, so when everything has become warm… I have a transmission flush up and the jerking between 3rd and 4th gears and the nozzle is still there.. I’m not sure now whether it comes from the gearbox.. otherwise you hear the turbo light, but is everything okay.. someone an idea?

6-speed Geartronic tough on the D5
Good day, I have now intensively dealt with my gearbox. The following was done: After my GT soon only completed the switching operations after mature consideration within a very long time, this was “restored” in a workshop. It was replaced converter, sliding box and “brake bands”. An oil flushing was of course also made. Now it switches soft & at the right moment. However, it is subjectively so that it seems too soft to me. It could be my opinion n Furthermore, the speed at Tempomat varies 110 kmh, straight track and approx. 2000 rpm light. What are your long-term experiences with Geartronic?? Have bought the car since 2013 with 136,000. Now 270,000 km. Ride about 800-1000 km per week with it. So I’ve already experienced a lot with it.
