    Hi people, since I have something to do again, here a question. my little 1.4l has at the moment tss-intake-tube with nem green twister … i.e. an open lufi … since he does not bring any power, I want to retrofit again on the series-airboy(air filter) just instead of this intake box, which is probably only there for sound damping, to lay out a beautiful suction tube. in addition I want to miss the exhaust system (medium and end-sound absorbers) a fine fan curvature … what keeps it r of it? can I do a little bit more in the 3rd and 4th course? oh yes, and nengts performance suspension should also come in … greetings

  • Diagnostic tester for Volvo from model year 2015, Volvo Vida Dice 2014d

  • Unlock ambient lighting afterwards

    Hello everyone! I thought at first that I wouldn’t care, but I notice increasingly that I am missing a smart ambient lighting in the car. I only have the two stupid mini LEDs in the V90, where the interior lighting is also. You feel almost like in a Golf 2. :- ( Behind the bars on the door panels and also in the footroom at the back are the cables and connections for the ambient lighting everywhere. But at least in the doors there is no tension on the connections. Is it possible to release this kind of software somehow? I mean, hardware is everything available. Then you have to get ‘juice’ on it somehow. Getting a lighting in ‘self-work’ should not be a problem anymore. Maybe someone has done this before? I am grateful for sharing all the ideas.

  • Maintenance due, wrong display. Timely error message turn signal and light

    The xc90 Diesel is from April 24. Since autumn the display is constantly due maintenance, also in the app! The workshop then wanted to arrange a maintenance appointment for the end of January. Maintenance is included in the warranty package! The software errors with turn signal, lighting and maintenance, can not be found in the error memory and can not be eliminated. Maintenance can only take place after 12 months. Switching off the error message, would mean a risk, since then would not be pointed to the maintenance Rde! What can a false hint bring, which comes over months and must be pushed away again and again!

  • Rim prices for Volvo V70?

    I slowly start to think about which rims I can take or should take for the winter tyres. My dealer wanted to slip 800€ for steel rims with two new and two old winter flaps. For mature aluminium rims a lot more than 1000€ is called up. Now I have found at a pure tyre dealer which for approx. 800€ (greased); only one would have to register them. Since this is summer flaps, I still have to wait for the action prices for the winter. This dealer has called me 1000€ for tyred steel rims (with Conti TS830, only the rims cost over 500€). I just don’t understand why steel rims should be more expensive than aluminium rims?? Very strange… Maybe someone has a tip on how/where to get to rims cheaply?

  • V70 iii D4 AWD 12/2012

    Good day I was torn by the V-belts at my Volvo tonight. Does anyone have any idea of what it might be like with my model? Or is it probably just a fatigue? And my timing belt has been changed at 170,000km.. should I change it when the V-belt is re-made?     Hello, to the background: I have been driving a Volvo V70 III 2.4D since 2010 and can hardly imagine another car that suits me like this. Nevertheless, the car now has 380,000 km down, and slowly the first zippers, the repair of which would make up a not insignificant percentage of the current value. (Servo pump +2 hoses, clutch pedal hangs now and then, cooling circuit loses slowly (cause still unknown), lateral handlebars front and an M The car is in use in Italy, where we have our second home. Everything that must have been done at the KM stand to my knowledge. Optical condition pretty good, steering and suspension feel solid. Well documented service and repairs, brand new Goodyear winter tires and an oil change/small service would also throw the owner in before the handover. Would I be pleased about opinions. Are there fundamental weaknesses in the 215 hp D5 with automatic? Or is this all comparable to the relatively carefree car life that the 2.4D with 175 hp gave us?   • AGR-cooler incl. valve: current costs at Volvo

    I had to replace the AGR-cooler with the AGR-valve. This cost Volvo exactly 1,625,- €. Approximately 1,200,- € went on for the parts. The car warranty took over a large part of the invoice and thus paid off for this year.

  • Sporadic no more power 2.0T 163 ps

    Moin moin I have run the following problem with my Volvo v60 R Design 163Ps about 208000km. It has from time to time no more power when I am e.g. on the highway and accelerate or so the power is there and then gone. In the error memory are both exhaust temperature sensors defective. If someone had a similar problem I would be grateful for any help.

  • What do you think about new “assistants”?

    Hello, the day before yesterday I drove with a new XC70 approx. 500km. When I left the company premises I rolled as always slowly to the barrier, suddenly the emergency brake assistant put a full braking down. Everyone in the car was scared, good that no one was driving behind us. On the way the “gift” of the track assistant was annoyed, turned off. With the corner light and rain sensor there is no improvement. Curve light still swings much too hectic back and forth, rain ensor does what he wants, sometimes unnecessarily fast, sometimes too slow. Tempomat with spacer brakes too abruptly. I could never entrust my life to such a system anyway. I tried the spacer several times. It made my heart beat faster every time instead of relaxing. It annoys you when you drive ahead. You see that the cars already brake 4-5 cars in front of the front man, but the “assistant” waits until the front man slows down and goes into the iron. The flash of the blis in the corner of the eye is also annoying. The daytime running light switched immediately to the xenon light with every underpass. I don’t know if this is so good for the life of the burners. These systems are possibly intended for older people, but I also think that diminishing skills are compensated by routine and experience. The only thing I really liked was the main-beam assistant. Up to 1-2 unb Intentional light hooves, it worked very well. PS: The D5 didn’t go any faster than 220 kmh. Greetings…
