From about 80 km/h – depending on the wind direction – comes a sound like “blown on the comb with butterbread paper” from the dashboard area above the glove compartment. If you sit on the right side of the ARmaturenbrett with a flat hand, one from above is hearty, the noise sometimes goes away. Ventilation on / off / adjust, sliding roof on / to bring nothing. Did anyone ever have that?

C 70 T5 Gas conversion?
Hello dear friends, I’m currently thinking about switching to Lpg Gas and would like to ask you about your experiences. Does this really hurt the engine? Lifetime cuts ect.? Power loss in how far… Can I travel? Cost point from the conversion? Maybe you could also recommend someone who is cheap and good at the same time. Excessive use of highway and inner city? What do you think about it? Unnecessary or advisable, I don’t drive sooo much and the work is also only 10 km away but the fuel prices and the still quite high consumption push a little the driving fun…

Dumpy bang at high speed
Hello municipality, last night I gave my moose the spores in the gas operation (I know you shouldn’t) . At 180 / 190 km/h there was then a dull blow, along with short stalls of the drive . In addition, the whole led to increased pulse on my part (was really frightening ) . If I should describe the blow then, one forgive me , I would say that it sounded as if a cat or dog with the skull banged against the bumper . However , had I felt that the sound was rather directly below me. I couldn’t find any traces of a collision and besides that was already the second time that this happened. I then turned out the error codes today: A2 – no signal A3 – 111 A7 – no signal B1 – no signal B2 – 122 B5 – 111 B6 – no signal The other sockets in the Blinkbox are not occupied with my 2,5, 10v, 144PS Has anyone ever had this?

Cabrio with easy entry?
We looked at a C 70 with manual seats today and we noticed the single negatives on the car, the bad access to the rear area. So that’s not possible at all, so as a snake man I am not born right now or would not like to expect any of my fellow drivers. Now I have read that the C70 Cabrios with electric seats such an easy entry, so folding seats with extended access that rush back into the starting position, ha If someone can tell me something about this, don’t find a suitable convertible to test near me. I’m grateful for any help, I’m looking for a convertible (there’s still a Saab 9-3 in question or an Audi A4) but I’d like c/0 to be alone because of the 5-ender

Unround run, 2.44L V70 1
Nabend, With my 99’er V70 it does not run round. It consumes animally a lot of oil (about 5L in 3 weeks) and also on the 1st cylinder in the last 2 months 4 spark plugs dirty (black, spark no longer comes). Valve shaft seal is new, oil consumption still there. 10W40 instead of 0W30 pure (dünnes oil for possible leak search). No improvement. Since Friday it jerks neatly and seems to not ignite properly on the 1st cylinder. Coil was exchanged today and candle also, all unaltered Has anyone been able to gain experience in this area? Hello guys. I’m new here. I know this forum for a long time but the registration has only been done today. In my opinion, there are some competent people on the road here. I have a question for you. I have the possibility to buy a Volvo v70 t5 with 270 ps, for very little money… The car has 400,000 on it… My current v70 d5 already has 370,000 and runs like a new one. Does this reliability also apply to Volvo gasoline engines? Does the “old” v70 have any problems, things for which I should absolutely pay attention? Dream forever of nem 850 t5r. Hole in the engine after just under 80 000 km
Hello, I bought a V60 Momentum (T3 engine, manual gearbox) at the end of 2011. So far I was very satisfied with it. About a week and a half ago the gas suddenly stopped reacting, but after several start-ups it went again. Finally I drove with the last force under the supervision of the ADAC to the nearby home workshop (Volvo dealer). There is the car since then. Suspicion of the ADAC technician was a defective petrol pump. The Volvo-Werkstat t could not limit any definitive cause of error, but with very high probability tapped on the conveyor pump. This was also exchanged. On the test drive carried out by the workshop apparently strange sounds were heard suddenly before it caused a powerful blow. Result: Of something the engine was hit in two places, so that the engine has holes in two places with a diameter of about 5-6 cm. Gottlob nobody happened anything – I want to e don’t imagine what would have happened if the bonnet had been open. The warranty has definitely expired, so I hope for Volvo’s coolness now. A swap engine would probably not make sense anymore economically (as of yesterday the vehicle is worth about 10000 €. Schwacke). Did anyone of you have similar experiences or can someone give me tips on how to proceed best?

V70 – RTI Navi update on 2013 useful?
Hello together I have now found that the previous owner of my car did not make Navi-updates. 2 would have been possible, but nothing happened. When I called the hotline they told me that the option had expired. Thank you. Since 2009 a lot has happened on the streets. But if I look at the software in the Volvoshop, there is an update for this car from 2013. And that’s also been a while. I have the exact number of changes now. No longer in mind, but there are supposed to have been a few thousand. For classified ad portals, there has not yet been the right thing to do, at Volvo it costs about 200 euros. Has anyone already done this update and was able to find out changes? Or does anyone know if there will be the next update in 2015? Thank you

Wind noise from 100kmh on driver’s side V70 MY10
Hello everyone, I’ve had my V70 since March this year (^^), a wind noise on the driver’s side starting at about 100kmh. It sounds like the window isn’t closed properly (but it’s already tried to make a tick down, or to put it up again, everything doesn’t help). I couldn’t locate it exactly yet, I would say it comes from the upper left corner of the door. Have already inspected the door seals, I could not locate it exactly, I would say it comes from the upper left corner of the door. On the passenger side the problem doesn’t occur. I wanted to go on vacation at the end of the month about 2500km, I think the noise will piss me off, so it would be great if someone had a tip for what I should be looking for. Easy to repair S80 3.2 and 2.5T
Hello dear Volvo community, in the near future, I intend to buy a newer car, and have considered the S80 3.2 or 2.5T next to the Mercedes W212. Basically, both engines seem to be quite solid, but I noticed that the engine spaces seem to be very tight and packed especially in the 3.2. My question, therefore, would be whether experience exists, how expensive repairs in and around the engine range can be for the two variants. In the case of the S80, sometimes the steering gears and the climate compressors have broken down. Does it make a difference which engine is installed and how complicated is the exchange then?
