Hello, I have the problem in my XC70 MJ15 that I can no longer adjust my lumbar support from one day to the next. If I press the switch on the seat, then for this moment the light of the window lifter control unit as well as the foot room lighting goes out. The same applies to the passenger seat. I have no electric seats, but this lumbar support is apparently not a component of the control unit for the seat adjustment, but something of my own. H abe looking for the right option in Vida for a long time today, but just can’t find the position where I can check the function via Vida. Does anyone have a tip? LG, Steve

Hello since recently owner of a V70 III EZ 2009 had just been looking for something spacious as a successor for my Mondeo MK3, and then very coincidentally ended up with the V70… some questions have already asked me: — Display engine temperature (meaning to retrofit?) — permanent display of consumption in the BC display (not to have to reset every time after restart) — Tyre: actually only 225/50R17 possible/approved to 7Jx17x50? (possible alternatives??) — GearTronic (sports mo yous? not found..) — “permanent” message “no belts on rear seats” … switchable?! — jack? – (tire-rep kit is included) with jack I feel safer… — xenon-light light light-wide regulation at high load?! (changes – types?) — despite overpassing with about 110 km of access, came the day later “battery level too low” -> had been moved for some time at the previous owner little .. -> normal voltage values at the V70? — OBD2 – recommended devices (possibly for temp- Display useful?) .. maybe there are a few tips and tricks as moose cubs that would be worth mentioning?! eg. V70 III D5 185 hp power oscillators
Hello together, have a 2008 V70 D5 185 hp with 222,000 KM. I’m already browsed through the forum here, but not exactly my problem again. In my case I have a power drop from 3000 rpm, also a no longer clean turn up or a jerk is clearly noticeable. If I turn it (rarely) times up to or over 4000 rpm, he reacts afterwards abundantly delayed to’s accelerator, takes sometimes really long until he reacts to the gas again. Last week I drove AB, accelerated up to 200 km/h on a very slight climb, then the power fell with constant gas position until I was down to 160 km/h, full throttle did not bring anything. after the AB descent he ran up to 3000 rpm again normal. No error in the dilplay. 2nd syndrome he had after a overtaking manoeuvrable mountain, also with speed up to 4000 rpm, afterwards the driving distance went about 5 KM mountain, when I then left the place again I wanted to accelerate the performance completely away, felt like without a turbo, think a kind of emergency running program. Then I drove some KM until I was at the finish. After turning off the engine and 45min standstill it ran again (up to 3000 rpm) normal. Also no error message in the display. oil & filter change is done regularly, last time before 10000 KM. Oil leak V50, 2.0d 2008,
Hey, I’ve been having a leak in the lower engine compartment for at least 50000km. I noticed this from the small black spots in the carport. Forest and meadows workshop and Volvo dealer tipped on turbo damage, despite my doubts, because I had neither whistles nor power loss. So turbo new. See there, the oil stains did not want to disappear. Oil loss (with clean working DP, wg. oil dilution) minimal, I would say now per day about 5-10 drops. Tendency naturally rising. W I think I’m going on, but it’s starting to get creepy. And my colleagues are starting to wonder who’s car is in the parking lot. Now my questions to you: What’s the most common cause of oil crumbs in the model? Guess now I’m going to the shaft sealing ring, I’ve read that there’s a clutch side and a belt disc side, when both are changing? Is a KW Simmerring the same? Oh yes, at 210 000km so I’m at 210 000km Timing belt change is not far anymore. Please make me smarter! Greetings Frank

Hello everyone, I have a question for the legal experts among you. Exactly 2 years ago I bought my C70 convertible from the dealer. In the vehicle description and the sales offer is clear and clear “with original Mirzam rims 18 inch – tyres 235-40-18. Now I have to go to the TÜV and have prepared to mount new tires. It turns out that it is not like in the sales documents about the above mentioned rim but a 17 inch rim with the tyres 23 5-45-17. So a clear mistake….or possibly deception in the vehicle offer! Ash on my head that I didn’t notice it earlier, I just trusted and am now very irritated. Does one of you know what chances I have now to get the dealer (Volvo authorized dealer) for it? Volvo V50 cruise control failure in combination with engine power drop
Hello, in the recent past my Volvo V50 has suddenly encountered several problems: Sudden acceleration drop – maximum speed 2000 rpm – no higher speed possible, even if the accelerator pedal is pressed through. Tempomat (cruiser function) can no longer be activated. No error message of the board computer. Unround run and high consumption in urban transport
Hello dear Volvo community, unfortunately my Volvo V50 2.0d from the year 2004 brings me back to the palm with 279,000 km. On the highway great consumption values and super round engine run. V50 FL, retrofit AHK
Moin, I finally managed to build my AHK under the car on the weekend… Is there almost no effort… First of all, everything worked without problems but….. On the trailer the reversing lamps don’t turn on and the moose doesn’t turn off the PDC… ???? Everything else, turn signal, brake, light, Nebler (also with switch off the moose) Duration Plus etc. is all there. Does anyone have an idea what’s wrong?? 160,000 km inspection DO NOT let the friendly do ?!
With my V70 D5 (120kw) soon the 160,000 km inspection is coming up and I got a first offer at the time. Since also all 4 brakes incl. disks and brake fluid are to be made, my came on an amount of ~1400 Euronen. What do you think of the price on the one hand? On the other hand I think about having the inspection and the repair of a “free” repair workshop to be done, so no “no-name-screw” without master title or the guys with the 3 Buchst The question is now, can or may he also put a stamp in the checkbook as “non-Volvo dealer” ?
