Hello municipality, I’ve had a used XC70 (100,000) for about a week and a half. I noticed a relatively fast noise coming from the front axles, which only occurs during the ride at low speeds, even even when it’s a small one. This noise, when the engine has cooled down or the car has just started, can also be a little louder for a short time. But then, after about 20 seconds, it goes away and becomes quieter. It’s a somewhat high grinding sound (sounds like once Keilr Can something have happened to the brakes (tire pressure control system before) in the course of the tyre change, while other rims were also raised? Is somehow my guess. The second phenomenon is the turbo. I have the feeling that this is partly whistling (quick high tone). Is that normal? As I said, is only a feeling. Can you test the turbo somehow? Since I don’t think the disk tint is nice, I had it removed from the workshop. I found out today that there are three heating tapes without function. But after checking I could not detect any injuries to the heating tapes. Question: Is it possible to test and fix this somehow professionally or do I have to get out the disk? I have an appointment with the car salesman (Volvo dealer) tomorrow, so I will of course address these points. But I thought it might not be wrong to collect opinions/ideas in advance. Thanks in advance to all… Greetings, Martin

V70 III D5 – Exhaust gases in the engine compartment
Moin, I just came home and let the car run a little before I put it off. Then I smell –> exhaust gas in the interior. In front of the headlights slowly and greyishly –> exhaust gas. Armed with a flashlight and mobile phone camera, I open the hood and look for where the stuff comes from. Unfortunately, I couldn’t exactly locate it. It’s not surprising, however, that it came up from behind the engine. In addition to the tackering, there’s also a periodic sound to be heard, like a situation r(?). (-> Videos) While I’m still standing there, I suddenly hear a mechanical noise, some planned control (?) and also the engine noise change slightly. The periodic noise and smoking stop. I don’t watch this for the first time, but I finally got it recorded. What about the cuckoo can that be? If this was a crack in the exhaust manifold, then it would always have to be. If there are exhaust gases from under the car/particle filter up into the engine compartment?

V60 D3 Automatic Recommended for commuting?
Hello Volvoforum, I’ve been looking for a successor for my Skoda Octavia TSI for a long time. Now I’ve discovered a Volvo V60 D3 with automatic in my vicinity, Bj 2012 (136PS), Momentum equipment with a few other little things e.g. Navi. Run it 49,000 km and stand at the dealer with 1 year warranty, price 12.800€. Now my questions: Is the price OK? Are there significant problems with the car you need to know and check, how is the e Automatic? And above all, how do you feel about the engine? With a car in size 136 hp are not really luxuriant. My driving profile is as follows: commuting to university under the week, 16 km one away, i.e. on normal days 32km. On weekend 100 KM to the weekend house, there then a little more driving for excursions, with relatively hilly and partly mountainous terrain (expect no off-road car already clear) I live in rural Ireland, so the whole will play out at a maximum of 100km/h, However, some power reserves are important to me for overtaking, as the roads here are unfortunately clogged by mummies in Nissan Micras. I hope you can give me some feedback, thanks and regards Texasdriver.

A young black Alces alces has left the herd and grates in the Nordeutsche Tiefläche
Moin moin in the herd, after I started the 90s a 744 turbo automatic for 8 years and then had a 850 combi for just under 9 year, and thanks to the unbeatable offer for a V70 III MY 2016, I am again a satisfied moose owner. Having become a V 70 III D2 MY 2016 Kinetic in black with Buisness package, winter package, digital instrumentation and rain sensor. What I miss is the return camera and a lot more, but since a moose no more pieces of gold a wesch**scht and the money store has been swept down to a few rest, it has become this equipment. I waited almost exactly 12 weeks ( worse than at Christmas as a child). The first 1000km it has already been past. Let’s come to the plus points: + safety and place + consumption with about 5.4 in third mix (after BC) + the seats + the radio with RDS which also worked (in I 40 was the grotto) to the minus points: – the good guidance, but also has me b a disturbed the two predecessors – the from present sight strange working ZV, hope that it is a matter of setting up pictures to follow when it is clean again, zZts meaningless to wash the car

Thanks and greetings, Nok

Buy V70 1 LPG with 250000km? Note what?
Hello am new here in the forum, driving for years happy a 190 Mercedes BJ 91, 210000km which has never let me down so far. Only drawback: relatively high consumption and hardly any loading area. Since my girlfriend and I would like to camp with the car would not be bad also the opportunity to sleep in the car occasionally. Therefore we wanted to get a station wagon against the end of the year. To the choice stood Mercedes, BMW and Audi, after I also looked at some Volvos ic h infected. Originally I wanted to buy a well-kept 850er and then have it converted to gas. But now, just before our 4weeks Portugal road trip on this car:https://www.ebay-kleinanzeigen.de/…/438328257-216-012 What do you think of the offer? Have talked today to the seller who has been driving the car with gas for 50tkm without problems. What about the reliability between 850 and V70 1? Have you heard that the V70 is not so The car has already run 250tkm. Would like to drive with it for 4-5 years and there will probably still be a few kilometers. The timing belt has not been changed yet. Apparently the interval from BJ 99 is higher, so that I could do it even after the holiday still. Does anyone have information about this? Am at the moment still unclear if I should strike. Alternatively I would look for a 850/v70 with less km and then on gas Do you think the offer is realistic and what else would I have to invest besides the timing belt? Thank you very much!

Hello people! Did I find that I have to remove the cooler with my moose. Would only like to know before I go about it how to do it correctly. I connected the cooler of the left and right the 2 small hoses around which I actually mainly feel like it! I can get the cooler myself with the upper and lower water scarf anyway but I don’t know how to get the 4 hoses connected down the left and right at the cooler? have not yet tried to destroy something out of fear! Would be very grateful for a short description or description. mfg Alex

Steering limit C70 I
Good morning! At my C70 there are tyres of the size 235-45R17 on it. According to the previous owner he bought the car (new) with this tyre size. The Volvo dealer says that this tyre size has existed ex factory. However, only at the so-called “Special Edition” for the 75th anniversary of Volvo. Of these cars only 15 were delivered in 2002. (Probably this number does not apply worldwide but only for Australia.) Now I just got four new tyres. Same size. e but rub at full impact inside the fender. It seems that they are minimally larger than the tires before. Now, of course, I could just put a thin metal plate under the (blue) plastic attacks on the crossbars to limit the impact. But I find it rather inelegant, especially since I fear that when the steering wheel is pressed strongly against the stop, the track bars could bend. In such cases, there is the original Volvo part 1021947 (Einsch The Skandix number is 271800. The mounting kit is in front of me, but it is completely unclear to me how and where the spacers should be installed. I can’t take it from the description at Skandix. The track rods have to be removed – or not? Has anyone ever installed this impact limiter set? How do I have to proceed? Thank you! Many greetings from Sydney Dieter
