Ahoi. I have a problem with my V70 2.5 tdi BJ 98. The starter doesn’t turn. The ignition lock is inconspicuous. I bridged the starter relay and it jumps without mucking. Now it comes down: I already tried three spare relays but with no one he can start. What can this be? I did not measure the relays before and after, so I don’t know if they were broken after the start attempt. However, I don’t know how to do it. The safety of the ZV burns immediately after changing. The light switch in the driver’s door is without function. The driver’s door cracks very wretched when opening. I call this for the sake of completeness. Only in case it is somehow connected. The tailgate does not open…Volvo V70, Bj 2008
The rear flap on the V70 (2008) does not open any more. When pressing the handle on the trunk or remote control, one hears a click – but nothing happens. I forged a curved “flat iron” from a threaded rod, so I was able to loosen the panel in the area of the windscreen wiper engine and bend into the drive room. So I can hold down to the lock with one hand – only what should I do now??? Recognize disguised lock, in which a wire rope goes in from the handle, which moves when you press the handle. At the bottom – seen from above left – I feel a thicker wire rope at which I can pull and then I can hear like an opening of the lock, but nothing is happening!??? Can someone give me advice! Have already read several dt. and engl. forums, but at this point I did not get any further… Thank you! Timo

V70 MY 2011 – SRA does not work
Hello municipality, the following PRoblem, with the request for hints: The headlight cleaning system (SRA) does not work. In the cockpit for several days always the message washing water level is low. Cleaning of the windscreen goes however. Water tank is definitely full. What could be the cause? Volvo V60, have a few questions

Does the first method work? A convert to wma with the all-in-one converter lets the data play but the sound is really creepy. Did I do something wrong? Yesterday I made myself two hours on my own which ipod it should be and whether the parts can charge and play at the same time, because with most used ones the battery should be through by now. h said I’m not quite sure about the matter yet… To two: I discovered a component in the trunk with which I know absolutely nothing to start. ABS ECU used buy, differences in versions and costs
Servus together! On the weekend my moose got caught, the lights for ABS and Tracs go sporadically on and off. Previously always accompanied by a Surren, sometimes from the back, sometimes from the front. Now I want to buy a used ECU, install and solder mine. What must I pay attention to? So far I only saw that there are ECUs up to ́95 without Tracs and then from ́96 with Tracs. Are there any other differences? What can such a used ECU cost? I have the choice between 30 and 300 euros in the bay. In the SuFu I have read across, there are also some instructions, but I have not found any answers to my questions. My moose is a ́96er 10V 144PS with Tracs… who has a functional or even revised module, can also offer it to me.

Mirror glass loose, but not loose.
My outdoor mirror glass is somehow loose. It sits indissolubly firmly in the mirror, but wobbles in all directions, especially on the highway by wind pressure the glass always adjusts. Adjust ( automatically by mini joystick) the mirror can only be adjusted in three directions: up, down and away from the car (so the view away from the car) The motor works towards the car, but the glass does not move. I always stuff a small piece of wood (stock, splitter whatever… ) between is a) very annoying and b) dangerous on the highway… Can I do something or how do I take out the mirror glass and look at the adjusting unit? (is a heatable mirror by the way)

Set handbrake
Have a small problem with my handbrake and I have to adjust it roughly on the drums, since the screw on the lever is already completely turned in, it is written in the manual, which has to be rotated through the hole in the drum a adjuster until the disc can no longer be rotated and then back again 5 rests. T55 Oil pressure shock absorber rear axle swap…against?
Hello, here forum newcomer. I have not found any clear answer to my question in another thread and can’t get any further: My shock absorbers on the rear axle are there, oil pressure. T55, 2.0 Bj 96. Now I find everywhere only gas pressure for the rear axle and also no hint that back oil pressure is standard or recommended. My autobastler (no Volvo specialist) that the Ar*** of my Volvo would be on the floor if he installed the with gas pressure that I order I also find only oil pressure dampers for front. What now? Bzw. can you make the gas pressure dampers suitable?! Questions at a high level 😉 Thank you for your help!

Salü mitenand, have also been a moose driver for almost half a year, new in the MOTOR-TALK and have convinced my “government” now of a SH. Have heard of NL about the favorable unlocking of it. Unfortunately I find no references to names of “friends” in Holland, which offer the unlocking cheaply.
