Navi replacement with Raspberry Pi / Android car “Crankshaft”
Since my C70 yes – thanks to the “tolle” Volvo DVD drives – has for a long time no working navigation, I was thinking about replacing the fixed installation on top of the dashboard with a Raspberry Pi solution with Android car … the punched part I think can be completely levered out, there then simply a 3d-printed bracket pure, reasonably wired and finished … Has anyone here ever dealt with this?

Surren in wet weather from 40 km/h
Dear Moose Friends, since long google and the moose doctor have not yet identified my surren, now would like to come back to you experts. It’s about my XC60 (1!) D4 automatic, year of construction 3/2017, approx. 35tkm Here is a video of the surren: This is how it occurs: I checked this: My guess is that a cover sucks full of water and pushes through the wind to a moving part. I would like to have your opinion – maybe someone else has the problem? Thank you & VG Frank

Red XC90 V8 Sport – even wider grin.
Hi, even if the birth has been delayed by 2 days: Also with me you can notice a wide grin in the face. Up to now I have only the return trip from and 2 round trips with the family – therefore a total of about 50 km – behind me, but the gas-elch runs great. From the conversion is nothing to feel, the engine is as I expected – on the country road and in the city you drive the easy also (with careful gas-foot) under 2000 tours. On the unfortunately very full In the left column I was overtaken to the right – I looked at the 911er, the Mitsubishi Colt and the A190 but less – maybe the red is too appealing. With already 1 proof photo – it was already dark – tomorrow certainly more beautiful photos. Maybe at noon I can get a more ambitious photographer to take some nice photos of the Schönelch. More information is available later – I am then gone again……….. Freudigen Gruß Jü Now he just installs Parrot and iPod holder.

XC 90 2.5 T Tips requested…
Hi! I’ve been annoyed long enough about my Mercedes, a friend of mine is now working at a Volvo dealer, so I tried an XC 90 2.5 T. The car is from 09/2003, has run 65,000 km and 210 hp with turbo. It is a gasoline. It is from 1st hand, dark blue, inside leather black and very well in order. What I noticed is the pleasant motor run for a 5-cylinder, the sufficient engine power and the beautiful driving behavior. Leather, it has a crack at a seam in the passenger seat, which will be fixed. In addition, a large customer service will be carried out including new brakes. In addition, the car has 7 seats and full equipment up to Xenon. Now to my questions: – What is such a car realistically worth? – How is the pollutant classification? At the dealer was not sure, but the whole EEC clause is the same as with the new 3.2. Therefore, we suspected Euro 4. Is that true? – Is there any problem with the – What is your experience with wear and service costs? – Can you move the car with some reasonable consumption at cruising speed 180? – There is only a little bit of lead-free in the tank lid. Is it possible to change the gear oil with normal? – Do you have to change the gear oil? Thank you and many regards, Mathias

Volvo S80 D5 Loading pressure too low
Hello! Unfortunately I already have the next problem with my S80. The first part of my (so far rather shorten) “suffer story” I have already summarized in the lower thread. Now the next problem: After about an hour driving the engine suddenly seemed very sluggish to me. I had accidentally plugged in the OBD Bluetooth adapter and could see accordingly that the maximum charging pressure with approx. 0.2-0.3 bar was much too low according to the display. Is this actually due to the AGR, or is this probably just an additional symptom? I realize that this is very difficult to determine in the remote diagnosis, I just don’t want to start wildly swapping if it’s not necessary. Thanks for all the answers and best regards, Alex

Buy Volvo with 400km?
Moin to all Volvo lovers! Unfortunately my beloved V50, my last Volvo, is now broken. Since then I have been a big Volvo fan, although he was actually a Ford… Anyway, I have read some threads on the topic of mileage here in the forum, but I haven’t found anything about the model I want to buy yet. Since I have only limited idea of cars myself (although I care for them with oil changes and regular maintenance), I ask here for advice. This is the link: https://home.mobile.de/SCHWEDENELCH#des_362841749 My thoughts are the following: The car already has a high mileage of 485,000 km. Although I am not afraid of many kilometers, I would like to drive the car for 4-6 years. I drive about 20 km daily to work and at weekends like 50-80 km per track. My concern is also the maintenance, especially the all-wheel drive (AWD). Is my concern justified or do ic What do you think of the price? 8.000 € are not exactly cheap. What do you think? the dealer makes an impression on me and sellers only V70.. also he exchanges tax chain + water pume.. Thank you for your help! LG Leon

Front disc heating important for assist systems?
Hello, the tracking and driving light assistant work unreliable. My friend said that this was due to the fact that my front disc heating is defective (interruption) and mentioned what the radar said. Therefore, a software update does not make any sense. The disk has to be renewed. Had no time to ask further. Is there a connection? Greeting

Fuel consumption of the V70 petrol at constant 120 km/h?
Hello, what is the use of the V70 petrol of the 3rd generation when driving constantly at 120 on the motorway? That was always stated in the brochures before, now I have to ask in this way. Please also specify which transmission and which engine is installed and whether the 120 were measured according to the tacho or real (that would be about 125 km/h according to the tacho). The front surface of the V70 of the 3rd generation has increased slightly compared to the 2nd generation, which leads to more air resistance. Daf A six-speed transmission was installed, which could possibly lead to lower speeds at motorway speed if adjusted accordingly. Does anyone also have a comparison regarding the consumption at 120 between the 2nd and 3rd generation of the V70? Thank you very much!
