but only 73 improvements?
Hello, I was on the A1 from Münster coming to Dortmund. There are some small construction sites, because there are working on the bridges. In such a construction site I had a thriving BMW behind me. That was already quite close behind me. So I was thinking “Marc, what 185hp and 400nm, if not for a speedy acceleration out of the construction site!”. Said, done! Tempo 100, 5th gear and full throttle! It works! The BMW is getting smaller, but only up to approx. 140km/h there was a clear “plöpp” from the direction of the engine and the performance was gone. I then dragged myself home with speed 100 then… In addition, a warning message has lighted up. (Pictures coming right away). I immediately thought of the turbocharger hoses (meaning they really so?). But does not have to be a clearly visible smoke cloud behind me? Nix to see. But that has probably explained the second message… Of the alleged 74 improvements I would already explain well for “unvalidly”!

Volvo 850 2,5 10V automatic purchase questions
Hello dear Elch municipality, I would like to change my car soon, and then I came to get a Volvo 850 station wagon. Now I wanted to ask you what you say about the 2.5 10V with automatic. One would be my first choice (must pay attention that I am NOT an apprentice, therefore no T5-R or so and the 20V models are in the insurance a whole corner more expensive) Then again a few back dates and ask of me… – I drive about 50000km/year—-65km to work. – Very much federal and country road, if highway, then also at least 400km at the piece. – even if that would be worth it, I would not like to have any diesel… (one because of the 5 cyl. sound) – Keeps the automatic long, since you do not rarely find 850er with 300,000km. – Typically weak spots?? – can be done on the autobahn with the 4 course automatic at z.b. 150-160km/h with “normal number” 4min.

Engine bearing / torque dings change there
Hi guys, unfortunately I don’t know what you call it, so I’m trying to describe it to you. It’s the rubber bearing, where with such a metal construction it’s stuck to the body. If you’re standing in front of the car, it’s on the right side. The problem is that it’s already quite marode, and I’d like to swap it, but I can’t get it out of it. My idea would have been to break the old one that it probably goes out, but I still don’t know what the new one is going on? (I wanted to look here at the “learning by doing” method) Does anyone know how to do it? Do you need special tools? Thank you very much in advance, if it was here in the forum, but how sat, I don’t know how to call it -.

while pulling the handbrake it bangs in the drum
Hi guys. I noticed recently when the car is still rolling and I pull the handbrake, very awfully banging in the drum. (use rarely the handbrake). First I thought, that’s what is torn, but not so. Have had the brake apart today,as far as I see,(Handbr. Rubber still ok,looks good.) The discs themselves would have to be renewed, because a brake piston is fixed (the rear) Will everything be renewed soon. Have again built together and handbrake re-set. The banging is still there, what can this be ????? We have turned the disc with the hand and then pulled the handbrake,a loud bang then there was, drum stood, handbrake released, disc can be turned. It has the appearance as if the cheeks bang against the drum, but why ????? Does that know one of you and knows how to help??? I am thankable for every advice. Thanks in advance Alf Alf.

Which cooler frost protection for S40 II 2.4i 170PS ?
Hi, after in the operating instructions of my S40 2.4i MY2005 the suitable coolant is not mentioned with any word, let’s ask the forum, what is heard there ? Background is: At the moment the water in the compensation tank is unfortunately absolutely pitch black. I want to rinse the whole system with water soon and then fill it again, to check whether the water will color again black. It could be due to the cylinder head seal, however, speaks against that there is no bubble formation in the compensation tank with running engine and also that there is no oil film on the liquid. – Therefore it may have been due to the extreme short distance operation in the last years. Long speech short sense: What for a frost protection remedy belongs in an S40 II 2.4i (MY 2005) ? PS: Have already experience with the change, since I have changed the complete cooler on my passat due to leaking itself.

V50 T5 R-Design arrived
Hello people, after today my V50 arrived quite surprisingly (named delivery date was actually the 23.03) I have on the fast times a question: How did you attach your front marking? With or without frame? I would actually be for the solution without any frame, but am not quite sure. Pope PS: do the new V50 (MJ09) actually have in the engine compartment with the Bixenon headlights still such a small screw, with which you can adjust the height of the headlights? Don’t worry, I don’t screw around there myself, will only tell my workshop that they are optimally adjusted and in this context would interest me. Pope

This is my Cee
So, since I’ve been the proud owner of a C70 for almost five months now, there was already the one or other opportunity to shoot a nice picture of the moose. And some of the … as I think … I don’t want to withhold the most beautiful of them from you. Of course I would also like to record it in his gallery. Then I have some more info: C70 D5 (180 HP), hand switch in sapphire black metallic and leather in Calcite Cream Summum Equipment + – RTI Navi – Premium Sound + Sub ́s – el. adjustable passenger seat … the rest of the toys are I think I series Achso one more, have meanwhile good 13,000 km on the tacho stand and since I have it completely satisfied. I also have small things as well as too low adjusted headlights, but otherwise nothing more wild. Greeting Winni

Used V50 T5 – a few questions
Hello together I recently had a 04 V50 T5 Momentum, black with approx. 110’000km smiled at me. If the dealer makes me a good offer in exchange for my Saab 9-3 he will probably soon be mine. Main thing a Swede 🙂 I will look at the vehicle again on Monday and extensively test drive. But now I would have a few questions about it, (search function I have already used). Are there things that have to be considered with the 04er and especially with the T5? As far as I know apart from the ignition lock no problem vehicle? Does someone know which wear parts have to be replaced according to experience soon and with which costs can be reckoned about there? Can one drive the part (shot?) in everyday life under 10l? 😉 If someone has further information / needs to report – simply. Thanks and greetings from Switzerland
