    Hello, this morning had a nice message in my mailbox. The company NetUno had written to me that the gateway 500 is finally available for Volvo. I need the part for my XC90. I ordered it immediately and wait now impatiently that I can finally hold the “thing” in my hands and install it. I will come to the installation next week and report about this of course.   • Overpressure in cooling water

    Liebe Elchgemeinde Have a little Christmas puzzle here: My V70II D5 Bj 04 got the 160 ́ wellness pack about 3 months ago. (dental belt plus water pump) Since then all 3- 4000 km the message comes little cooling liquid etc. If I then carefully turn the cover of the balance tank then hiss air, the cooling water level rises and everything is fine again. I had the same game now 4 times and always is good after venting again without something to fill up?! always builds up an overpressure… Does anyone know it? Thank you for every explanation!

  • XC90 ..in heart for dogs..or not?

    Hello SUV friends, now that my first XC90 (in the car dealership) has been stolen from me, hopefully the new one will stand in front of my door in January. I used to drive V70 with dog grids for my 4 year old friend Leon ( Golden Red Rever ). He loves Volvo driving at least the same way as I do. Well, after my decision to drive the slightly different kind of Volvo I have concerns because the XC90 is quite high. The loading edge is not particularly suitable for my beloved Four-legged. But I just couldn’t stand again…. Has experiences with dogs and XC90 here from the lovely community. No, seriously, I’m really worried. I’ve already thought about a ramp….

    Hello, I’m going to change my feather legs in front and I just have a little trailer. New feather legs , springs , dome bearings , feather plates made of rubber , nuts and dust protection caps I already have. I want to assemble the new dampers first in peace and then practically exchange them. But a part is missing , I can’t remember it anymore.   • The self-healing powers of the CEM or: The thick end is still coming?

    Hello everyone, strange things have happened in the last days. Here is a short report: The driving light is always on, it is turned off with the engine switched off. Sometimes it happens that when the light switch gets off inadvertently in position “Standlicht”, as I do not know myself – maybe with the jacket from the passenger seat maybe… anyway, it has happened several times. So it must have been also last Monday. The car was then 2 days, Mittwoc h the battery was empty, the light switch was in position “position light”. The start aid helped. I don’t know whether the left front floor light had already burned out before or whether this happened in the 2 days. Anyway, it was defective. But the other position lights burned all the more stubbornly after the charging drive. They couldn’t be switched off anymore! Since it was too late to find the :-), I pulled the fuses 30 and 31 and I was only the next day. to the workshop. Diagnosis after more than one hour: switch in order, cable in order, relay in order: the CEM is the culprit. Cost: approx.1030,- + 150,- Assembly + 50,- Software (whether bretto or nutto I didn’t even ask at all). Big frustration! The 🙂 has at my request renewed the defective standlight, I said goodbye to the fact that I have to sleep over there first, possibly also want to contact Volvo directly, and to look for other advice, e.g. here in the forum. 🙂 reported that now everything is running out and that the CEM will soon cross the big water. Turn off the car at home, the tears dried, the standing light, since the defective lamp was replaced, now burning all around, still not turn off. 1.5 hours later, the fuses I had not pulled, while driving the light switch, an understandable click: the relay had pulled, the stand light was off and everything was off.   • V70 pulls to the right when accelerating

    Hello dear Volvo experienced, unfortunately I have a problem again on my car. After the partial revision of the front axle (spring plate above, dome bearing, shock absorber, right carrying joint, lateral handlebars in front were renewed in original half a year ago) the moose pulls to the right when accelerating. Now I have ordered again 2 new support joints, because at the revision only one has been renewed.   • Strange electrical problems

    Hello guys, I own a Volvo V70 III 2012 2.0 163 hp diesel engine. Currently with 311,000 km. I have various electrical problems: – Electric trunk does not open – Sometimes I stop the locking mechanism, but nothing from the electric motor – Sometimes I hear that the electric motor does something, but the lock remains closed. So the trunk cannot be opened. – When I drive and have my lights on, several sensors give a warning when braking. – The sensor for the trunk indicates that it is open, but it is not. On the display this warning sometimes goes very fast on and off. – Sometimes it tells me that the key is not close. I have no Keyless Go, only the key in the slot. – It indicates a warning that Start Stop must be maintained. – If I drive without light, these warnings do not appear, but the trunk cannot be opened either. – While the engine is running, I hear a warning. When I turn off the light, the noise is no longer there. The problem with the trunk occurred first. Because my start-stop system also did not work properly. When I switched on the engine and ran the engine at about 3000 revolutions per minute in the parking position, the trunk opened when I pressed the button. But at that time I also had the problem with the trunk sensor, that it was the trunk as a but after the battery change no longer, until now. I checked all fuses, but nothing was out. The battery gives me 12.6 V when the engine is off when it is on, its about 14.4 V. I also checked the cigarette lighter front and rear, which also showed more than 14V.     Hello! Did someone happen to have found the maintenance specifications for a Volvo C30 T5 (built in 2008)? I found nothing in the search function and also about google (maybe I’m only incapacitated ;-)) Anyway, I would like to know which points will be dealt with during which inspection. Somehow would help me even if someone had a plan of the 60 000 km inspection.
