  • V50 Lowering + Track plates

Hello, I am driving a V50 with 17″ “Spartacus” rims and 205″ tyres. I have now ordered for front and rear 35mm H&R lowering springs. For my taste, the wheels are a little too far in the rear wheel box and I would like to build up a harmonious optics distance disks. I thought about 20mm per wheel (40mm per axle) the whole only back. White jmd if there could be experience with the wheel boxes in this combination? n Change wheel boxes and do without harder shock absorbers as well. Would be happy if you could help me.

  • DPF additive already due at 40,000 km?

Dear Forum, my C30 1.6D Drive was recently at the contract workshop for the 40,000m inspection. What surprised me a little bit: The DPF additive was filled up, cost the already mentioned here several times approx. 100 EUR for material. On my demand, why already at 40tsd-km was refilled, the master showed me the service plan (this checklist-like expression, above the vehicle data, then the list of works due). In the header was clearly the 40,000-inspection. Did something change? Interval from 60 to 40-Tsd. shortened? Does someone know what? And immediately another question was not made. Brake fluid, for example, thought that would be due at 40tsd, but was not in the said service checklist. Does this fit? Did something change here? When should it be changed now?

  • Clean / renew crankcase ventilation

Hello! My 850er LW pushes out some oil at the Simmering and before I want to approach this quite large construction site, I would like to do the ventilation of the crankcase first. Have tried the trick with the rubber glove on the opening for the oil and the glove almost flew around my ears. There seems to be some pressure on it, which is perhaps also responsible for my oil loss. I am just putting the parts together on Skandix at the n, but before I forget something: What should I order everything so that I don’t miss anything. Does someone happen to have a shopping list ready? My engine is the B5252S model year 95. For example, am I not sure about the pipeline, which I should take there. I would be very happy about tips!

  • Volvo855 Switch spark plugs

Hello, even if it is a noob question for some of you here – so I would like to ask for safety: How do I change the spark plugs best at the Volvo855 Bj. 96. I’m not clumsy by hand – but I don’t want to do anything wrong. And somehow I can’t get there properly. Do I have to dismantle something first? Do I have to pay attention to anything else? Thank you for your help

  • Farewell from the moose after over 4 years

Hello, dear moose drivers, after more than 4 years we decided to say goodbye to our V70 TDI automatic. There are several reasons for this but it was a great car, even if it was expensive…. I will soon offer it here in the forum. But later on. First of all I want to thank you for the many helpful contributions that were to be read here. Somehow it was a special time with a special car, I have to say that. So a servus to everyone here.

  • C70 Purchase advice

Dear community, I’m already here, but with my V70 XC I, which should not be the topic here. I ask you for your advice regarding a vehicle, which I would like to purchase additionally. Messblatt 416nm / 278 hp …and last but not least 1 hand 60.000km ! 12x service…at Volvo, namely every year and looks really slick. ……we don’t want to talk about money, but what about the vehicle configuration and this performance increase to keep ? • weird behavior

Hello! I’d like to describe a “disturbation” here for a moment. And that’s how it is, if I drive for example 50km/h and the next traffic light is red, I take the gear out and let it roll out. If I take the gear out and release the clutch, the speed jumps back and forth, between minimum, which makes itself noticeable with a small ruckle/stutter, and about 1600U/min. He does the whole thing about 4-6 times until he is just standing. But now it comes…and no it comes to me not only so v or, I’ve been watching it for weeks. If he’s rolling out and gets his weird twitches – then I’ll kick the clutch, but don’t put in a new gear – it stops. What might that be?

  • Inaccurate speedometer Volvo V70 2,4i

My problem is this: The speedometer of my Volvo V70 2.4i (170hp), matured with 195/65 R15 on original aluminums from Volvo, is not exactly accurate. Example: If the speedometer shows exactly 130km/h, I actually only drive 117km/h (measured with GPS!), which, I think, is a very big difference. For comparison: With my Corsa C 1.0, the speedometer deviation is 140km/h a uf the tacho not even 5km/h! Since I bought the car used, I don’t know what kind of wheels were mounted before. Therefore my final question: What can be done and what would a “repair” cost? I have already read in the other articles that it is probably an electronic problem. I will not want to fix it myself, because I have no idea of electronics! I am grateful for answers of all kinds, eintrachtloewe

  • S80 – 18 or 19″ alus?

ho since I had to find that in one of my summer bikes (see pictures > here <) a nail plug and this completely goes through the mature and is not flickable loud workshop (because too fast and tire is anyway down to 2en and shit - P6000...) I want to buy new alus now my question is now what does better on nem s80 WITHOUT sport suspension or deeper laying 18" or 19" rims? since actually no "high-legged" elch wanted to have by the new alus.... the new alus... rims should be Tomason TN4 and either in the dimensions 8.5x18 or 8.5x19 pneus I would like to raise in 235/35 or 245/35 - but don't know exactly what the max is so that it doesn't grind... my questions will be taken together again: 1. 18" or 19" what is better or not too "high-legged" with standart suspension on the s80? 2. which width of the tire is possible without any sign-widening or changes to the wheel box?
