I could buy the vehicle for 7700€. I looked at the car/tested it and I like it very much. I am in possession of a v70III d5 MJ 08 and have very good experiences with the vehicle. Sporadic whimpering, ratters at partial load or gas removal, which then disappears again.
Once again I have something nervous again with a somewhat helpless workshop. But lately it comes sporadically again. With slower ride with the description as usual, at 7 0 -90 km/h but rather more high frequency for a short time, if I drive rather with partial load, or roll. Then it sounds more like a higher frequency whimpering. Usually only for a few short seconds and then away again. My OHL describes it rather as if you are dragging something along, or like the sound of the “glucky wheel”, where the ratting is then rather a whimpering. At load it has never occurred, so even at full gas no noise. In curves nothing perceptible, even at unevenness nothing. I can feel it in the steering wheel, which also meant that it was quite clear in the popometer on the passenger seat…but he doesn’t have an idea. Good day dear forum, I’m new here and new in the area of Volvos. I have a long dream to drive an old Volvo & fell in love with the old v70 as well as the 850, in the end I would decide for the 850 because I have read a lot and thus the decision fell to the 850. Now to my question there is almost no diesel on the market probably for good reason, but I found a “good” volvo 850 which I would best drive to my end, it’s a gasoline engine that would survive good me with regular maintenance and inspection or fails the engine? Brake discs (alternatives?), change + life V70 II?

It’s a red, black, orange and yellow cable from the blue box of the Parrot into the car interior. The yellow cable seems to pull somewhere towards the trunk. The red cable went towards the ignition. You can see the cables clearly in the photos.
