    Hello. I need a little help or my little angular Swedish friend needs help in order not to land in the catches of the nasty junk eaters… I had recently lent my car and the colleague came back with a stuttering, slurry and backside oil smeared cart, which I then had checked. Prognosis: Without oil or with too little oil driven. Thus hole in piston two. Remaining oil blown through exhaust. Supergau! I have the car. I don’t think that I could find a suitable and functioning engine at a fair price.     Moin moin, Are there any special features, tips and tricks when changing the discs and linings of the front axle? Does something absolutely have to be renewed? I changed the brakes at the Vectra B front and rear without any problems. Greeting from Hamburg

  • Problems with the approval of the gas plant

    Hello everybody, I’ve been registered in this forum for quite a while, but I’ve never written anything before, but I often get suggestions from different topics and found out that there are already some foxes on different levels. Now I have a problem with which no one could help me and therefore you are my last attempt. The following situation: I drive a Volvo V70-I Bi-Fuel Bj.2000 and I have to say that, “I love this car! I never let it down, I drive it professionally and privately it is cozy, sufficiently fast and economical. I presented it 2 times to the TÜV HU everything ok. At the presentation 2014 the colleague of the TÜV said “In your papers it is a natural gas car, but in reality it is an LPG vehicle, so there is no stamp, that has to be changed. So, now I don’t know any more! I have telephoned with all German previous owners, it was always an LPG vehicle! Maybe someone can give me a good advice how to get on with it?

    Hello together. Have the following problem: From full fuel to reserve I only refuel about 50 l after…. The tank should have 72 after all…. There is nothing to read on the tank. Is it possible that the tank is not original? On the other hand it must be the dealer??..? Thanks and L.G., Andreas.

    Hello guys, have a question to you about how you care for your elk. I would be particularly interested in the care of the leather seats with a 2 year old car like mine. I got the original leather care for Volvo at Scandix, which is supposed to be quite good. Is a thorough wet wipe of the leather seats also at the young age and then only treat with the leather balm or would you also do the cleaning? What do you use for the paint?   • Volvo XC60 Internet(LTE) / GPS problem

    Good day, I got a new Volvo XC60 here. For 4 weeks I have got it now and sometimes I have the problem that the Internet / GPS only works about a minute after the engine start or usually only after about 7 minutes. This is quite annoying if you want to go and the navigation does not work accordingly and you can get your phone out with a 70k car first. The workshop has already read out the control unit and found nothing. An update w urde also performed that unfortunately did not do anything. Problem is also difficult to recreate because it sometimes works for days and then it goes for a whole day with every restart only after a few minutes. Does someone still have such a problem here and maybe knows what it is so that I could tell the workshop?

  • Upgrade Volvo V70 Gen 3 roof railing

    Hey Volvo Community, I am now 1 year proud V70 Bj 2007 owner and passionate camper. Would like to put me a roof tent, however, I have a model where only the cross beams can be mounted in the door frame. According to roof tent manufacturer, the dimensions of the carriers do not agree (carriers themselves too wide, distance between the carriers too low and carrier length too short) and the load capacity is doubted (roof tent James Baroud Odyssey is supposed to be, weighs about 70kg). res Seen V70 with roof railing and also a bad YouTube video where a railing is installed (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YLWFt6GqGdA) – the good man has but some problems with the fit etc. Does anyone have experience or tips for retrofitting a roof railing?     Moin Am today with my V70 D5 Built. 2002 163Ps times faster. At 4500 rpm and 210 after Tacho was close. The car is equipped with the normal 5g Automatic transmission and winter tire 215/60-16 (approx.70%). The 4500 rpm has reached the car very quickly (Steinbauer P-Box) My question to other Automatic drivers or to all those who know. At what speed is the engine adjusted? Which speed can you reach with which tires at what speed? it around the pros or cons of a tuning box
