Moin, last week avoid front axle made new… so coupling rods, push rods, heads are only 2 years old etc… so the full program inlk Domlager… Drives and steers and brakes again a lot better… I noticed that the saddle is firmly on the rear right, I changed, to the left still floods Well what I actually wanted to do is that now at speeds around 100km/h a fold occurs in the steering system, that was before, however, even at lower speeds and more extreme… so you can see correctly how the steering wheel moves from left to right… and back again… but it remains in the track… The track has of course also been remeasured, that’s clear. At the beginning of the summer, I have quite exactly washed the matured brake test bench also showed that left and right are pulling evenly at the brake wheel, so no significant difference What can it be now? Does anyone know that?

MAXICOSI or Römersitz Desaster in the V70 – Square Desaster
Hello Volvo colleagues, this morning we wanted to pick up our twins in the Khs. I bought 2 new Roman seats. Then, at 9:10 am my blood pressure on 200. The Roman seats do not fit on the rear seats, if the front seat is set to the rear and down, the seatrest is set “normal”. So I have to make the seat about 10 cm forward and then I, with 1.92 m height, have the problem that I have to operate the steering wheel between the knees, if I could still pack in between. What do I do!? First I thought, ok, on the middle 3 point belt. What do I have to recognize? The belt is about 10 cm too short, meaning I can’t get into the belt lock. So that’s not possible. I thought that further, then I put the 2nd seat on the passenger seat, then my wife or I can sit on the rear left. Nor can I see, because it doesn’t have an airbag off switch. Even more annoying, the newly ordered one is on the factory belt and the seller could not have ordered the “extra” middle seat. But I could not have bought the option for the factory.

Xc90 D5 – Undermotorized?!
Hello together I drove yesterday for the first time the XC90 with the newer diesel engine (185 HP Veriante). The car came directly from the truck and had just 70km on it. I have to say it is a beautiful car, but under a T6 or V8 there is nothing. The acceleration of the D5 is comparable to the acceleration of the S60 T5 in the 5th gear. Is this normal that the diesel engine with at least 400 Nm is so extremely weak? Well and then the total consumption. I drove really comfortably, but I did not bring the average consumption under 15 L from 100km. At Volvo it is officially indicated with about 9.0 L / 100km. The D5 itself may be a good engine, but the XC90 in conjunction with this engine is extremely undermotorized. Gruss Raffi

A6 Avant vs XC90
Hi! I’m driving an A6 Avant (BJ03). Unfortunately, no Quattro, which was a problem last winter. That’s why I want a “more winter-friendly” car. I’m fascinated by two vehicles: the XC90 D5 and the Audi Allroad, each with automatic, how can I compare them best? Which is more terrain-friendly? I think the Quattro system is basically superior in winter, right? Terrain suitability is not important to me, it’s only about the use in the snow. Does anyone have comparisons with the maintenance and running costs? After the space in the A6 gets pretty slow, the question arises further whether the XC90 has more space and is better to use? Thanks already in advance for your answers, Thomas

Vehicle without DPF still buy???
Hello, I ordered a VW Touareg 2.5 TDI R5 at the end of March. Delivery date should be in June! I don’t want to start a discussion about the car in itself, but I just want to hear as many opinions as possible about whether you would order a diesel without a filter now? In addition, you have to mention that I have received a super discount of approx. 15% on the new price! I think the resale value will not be worse than usual, because if I think how many hundreds of thousands of vehicles were delivered in the last months (WITHOUT DPF), yes, they should all be now suddenly Werlos? Retrofitting possibilities should come from work, that’s already certain! What do you think about it? P.S.: I am addressing this in the Volvo forum, since many people here have already been competent about the problem DPF spitting out!

The noise level in the S80
So I’m driving a S80 D5 since 3mon. And I thought…you can put the summer tires on it and everything will be fine. Nix is good ..at 140 KM/H he blows…new exhaust holder…no change. From 160 KM/H the soundscape is as strong as I would have never expected from a “premium” car. Before E class W211 …leise slipping along up to 200 speed. Then CLK Cabrio ..at tempo 160 about exactly as loud with a closed fabric roof as the S80. Is the box generally so loaded with wind and rumbling noise, or did I have only bad luck? Unfortunately my friend did not have a comparison vehicle to test. If so, Volvo is still light years away from the premium. The Honda from my wife is quieter by length of speed. Conclusion: 3 hours. Autobahn over 150 km/H is a goal tour.

Skipped the timing belt?
Did the camshaft wheels escape at the B 4204S – 2,0 (old dog with 148 teeth) before the timing belt disassembly, so that I can fix them with the adjustment line. The plug-off pin that comes in behind the starter to block the crankshaft, however, does not block anything there as soon as the camshaft wheels are aligned – at most my mood, because I have the feeling that the crankshaft is still at least 1/4 revolution (more) too far behind when the camshafts are already correctly aligned. Can it be that the ZR has skipped the previous owner? I noticed nothing of sloppy engine power so far. Only when it is very low in the speed cellar, it has a single offset from time to time when the accelerator is being accelerated, but what I returned to the old candles. Cold as well as warm the engine is so far clean and soft. How far can the position of the KW deviate to the normal position without taking any damage to the valves or head? As I said – it is the impression, it is not delivered at all.

Fog closing persons without function V40 Bj.98
Hello everyone. I have a V40 Kombi Bj.98. I am despairing at the fog closeer even though there is good information about it here. But maybe someone has the serious tip for me. The said lamp does not want to funze. I was allowed to try out the light switch from a Volvo V40 Bj. 97 just arrived at the scrap yard, but without success. There is no click, no visible lamp in the display from the tacho and of course no juice arrives at the rear. However, I have an AHK and an ECHTEN ELCH. That means it burns immediately light, as well as I turn on the ignition!!! Now my question has someone the IDEE?? which cable color to the rear light should I look (eventual break?) so that I can exclude the next error? in 4 days I have to present the elk again at the tuv. In advance thanks to the elk father I have a V40 Kombi Bj.98.

BSR PPC etc
Hi! since I am thinking of taking this step, I would ask you to share some of your experiences with me. I also try to squeeze out the German BSR dealers on extended warranty. I have to understand that one and the same box is offered by BSR in Germany at a wide variety of prices. Are all the same, or are there older versions at cheaper prices? Email Lexmaul Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, I am interested in the Volvo C30 T5 stage 1 tuning. That these devices are not produced by you is an open secret, but not why the device costs with them almost 50€ more than with BSR and with BSR is still a 2 year warranty….? How does the price difference come, are the boxes not identical to the construction, or something else not apparent changed? mfg ————— Many greetings

Swedish summer elch?
Hello together, after my V50 (D5, BJ 207) was in the garage for about 10 days on holiday, the battery didn’t want to go this morning. In my garage, during the low outside temperatures, it had a maximum of -2°C (5 bubble boxes in the same garage, the temperatures survived without damage) and a adjacent BMW X3 (diesel, with 5 years old battery) had no problems and fortunately was able to get started. How should such a car in Swedish Lapland (where -30°C are normal) work? Or is one already on “Chinese quality” with Volvo? Weak picture! Greeting and beautiful Christmas chiflado
