Hi! Does the S80 T6 have something like the new Audis “Launchcontroll” That means (with automatic in D) you stand on the brake with the left foot fully through, step on the gas with the right foot, the speed stops at approx. 3000 rpm or 4000 rpm, doesn’t know exactly where and then you let the brake snap and immediately has full thrust and coolest acceleration from the stand? Is that possible with the S80 T6, wants to try it out for fear gear or anything. immt damage, if there is no “Launchcontroll”.

Where do I attach…
…my Germany flag. Since tomorrow we beat the Ösis with glory and fighting, I am of course thinking about where I put my flag. In addition, I wonder how many people, standing in the trunk of my S60, I would nicely attach the flag to the bonnet. However, I am a little afraid that I could possibly detonate our great flag or that the flag will increase during the ride and smooth on the front panel. e lays nailing, tackern and welding is by the way no option Black-Red-Golden Greetings MINKI …which by the way was rock festival for the Czech Republic…

very strong wind noise from 120km/h Volvo S70/1998
hello fangemeinde, my elch I bought used in dez.2020 – accident-free from 1st hand. cautiously “dicked in”, as he already indicated 362 ́km on the clock. so I did not notice strong wind noises and a bright whistle from 120km/h. today a test drive up to approx. 180km/h. had thought the sliding roof and the cut with adhesive tape glued tightly – the bright whistle is gone. only from 120km/h on very strong disturbing wind noises can be heard. sub sub I have the impression that these are created on the side of the passenger. all door and window seals are as new, the ventilation nozzles were closed during the test. the “solar protection roof” under the sliding roof does not bring any changes. who has an idea where these sounds could come from and how I get them away.

Suddenly no more gas adoption, totally lame, , engine maintenance urgent
Hello, all of a sudden, the engine becomes totally lame, when I give the foot of gas is always a hectic “automatic” gas giving so from 1,500 to 2,500 U, then it falls down again and goes up again on its own, then the idling falls off again, then up again. In the stand funny stuttering. If I want to start at the traffic light, totally lame and can drive just so about 40 km/h, no gas acceptance at all. It is the warning “motor maintenance urgent”. I sometimes have the message ” Engine maintenance required”. What can that be … I should probably only drive to the next workshop… V70 II, 2.4 L, 170 hp, year 2001, 165,000 km

Tempomat no longer goes after engine and gear change
Hello guys, I’m going crazy… After replacing the engine and gearbox on my Volvo 850 GLT LS, my cruise control doesn’t work anymore. It was already in the workshop, but they couldn’t help me there. Car drives and switches super. As far as no other recognizable problems. Engine had to be replaced due to engine damage, gearbox was immediately replaced prophylactically, as I got a good offer for engine and gearbox. A similar engine type B5254 S was installed, only the year of construction is different. New engine is from BJ 98, before was a BJ 91 engine. Are there any differences in cruise control? LG

ABS rattles and uses constantly
I have a very strange phenomenon at my 99 v70 Lpt. The left abs sensor is new, ABS ECU has been repaired by a company 3 weeks ago. The abs/tracs and motor light are from which were previously with the defective abs control unit on the light. That’s already a positive effect, only sets no matter at what speed when driving !!!! And also when braking the abs constantly. So a ride is of course not really good and especially dangerous, what could that still be? More sensors or wreaths to deposit without a mistake? Has been read out in this regard several times at Volvo and the ABS light stays out too. Hope you have an idea

Bowden train of the bonnet
Moin, My cooler is a bit (unfortunately more and more) leaking. I fill up a little something and bring the moose to the workshop on Monday. Antifreeze mixed and off to the car. That’s a bit difficult at the moment, because they have torn away our access road to tell us then that the new building will probably become nothing this winter … Door open, grip to the bonnet unlocking and SCHNICK ! Bowdenzug torn. forty-seven-syllable Seemansfluche murmuring back and whistling back and w When I had the cover down and meanwhile felt 1385 people explained that I didn’t want to steal the car first, secondly I know about what I’m doing and thirdly I agree that it’s actually too cold for something like that, I saw the shearing. In the red handle there is a metal pin on which the soul of the Bowden train was attached. And it’s torn off from this pen. So not pulled out or so, but ripped off. And now the question: I’ve got the But this bowden train is not found as a spare part. Is there a single one? If so where? How complicated is that change? I still have to get the hood open if I pull the pliers on the bowden train. Still something funny at the end. I was on the road with a buddy the other day. He sat in the passenger seat and told him that he also wanted to buy a car. The Volvo is not bad nice big and also robust but too cumbersome. and free distance) without words times the brush pressed through. Silence up to 180 km/h and then an interested “What did you put down for the iron?” from the passenger seat … Well, he didn’t hear that slurping in the tank

TÜV
Hello together I was today with my thick at the TÜV. Volvo V70 II 2.4L 140 HP BJ. 2003 175`000 km It came out that I had to change the crossbars (both rubbers broken), left and right and the support joint right. I was a little surprised because I only changed my Volvo 2 weeks ago with a friendly brake, set track and had winter check and said there, they should control everything, because I have to go to the TÜV at the beginning of January. But what should it ever be? I have to change the parts so that I can get TÜV. Now I went to another contract venue near me (region Lörrach / Weil am Rhein) and got an estimate for the work there. Price for 2 crossbars, carrying joint incl. work and track adjustment and follow-up check at TÜV 1`000 € Now I wanted to ask if this price is realistic or a bit exaggerated: Thank you very much Friendly greetings Tobias

Status “Ordered” in My Volvo
Hello Volvo community I ordered a new XC60 on September 24th. We were informed of a delivery date with approx. mid-January 2016. With the order number I am in “My Volvo” every day watching what is happening with my car. So far only the status “Ordered” now my questions: – Is it normal that after about 12 weeks there is no further status yet? – How long do the production or delivery to the dealer take then? – I also read that the selection from “Lenkradheizung” as an accessory has another waiting time -is that right ? – How serious can you take these status messages at all ? I am constantly reading along in this forum and of course highly nervous that my new one should come soon. Can someone tell me about experiences with “My Volvo”. Thanks in advance LG Christian

S60 All-wheel, smooth ice and trench – Geartronic
Hello municipality, between the years I slipped into the ditch in northern Germany near Glatteis and thanks to the all-wheel again without problems came out again. Nevertheless, the bones hurt with shock and light gum bleeding also had me. The pulse raced and everything ran off like in slow motion. This happened on an asphalted dirt road because I did not turn off in time. The Navi then meant as a new route: in 400 meters to the right, in this well-developed dirt road. At the end turn right and I slowly slipped sideways into the ditch. The vehicle stood diagonally sideways in trenches. First of all radio out and stupidly looked. Nowhere with the car jagged and getting out did not go because of the slanting position and the bushes. Steering wheel straight and backwards, the car pulls sideways deeper into this ditch. Thought what now, so steering wheel hit again to the right and the Volvo came out quite loosely. Problem was, the mirrors look into the sky, you see nothing, no tree no shrub. Now my question, since I have slipped quite long, slowly. Can I actually, since I have braked the reverse gear and thus shorten the slide path? Is this even possible with the Geartronic, or does it only work with a hand switch or in general not at all?
