  • Volvo xc70 Drallklappe Repeating question

Hello everyone, I have to warn you directly, I don’t know about cars at all, but you have an urgent question about the above-mentioned, well-known problem with Volvo, the crash valve is broken. The Volvo has absolutely no power from about 80 km/h and does not come from the spot, at least it accelerates very slowly, turbocharger has already been ruled out that it’s because of that. Now we were at our workshop and that doesn’t want to repair the crash valve now, but there s suction tube.. Does the suction tube have anything to do with the throttle valve at all? When I was in the workshop with my friend today, the boss hardly paid attention to me and to my questions, whether the throttle valve is repaired at the same time, not really answered… My friend has less thought about it but I wanted to ask again, because I don’t want to pay 650 euros for the repair and in the end it says it is the throttle valve. Can you help me further? s suction tube really something to do with the flap? Or do you want me to trust the lady? They don’t have to deal with Volvos every day in this workshop, so I’m worried that she’ll just fix something for good luck. Thank you very much for your help!

  • XC90 D5 Heico tuning – Experiences/Ideas

Greetings from Australia – get my new XC90 D5 (185hp) delivered at the beginning of Jan. But I’m not interested in chip tuning. I’ve been looking for what’s there and then hit Heico – someone has some recommendations here .. Heico, or there are other Volvo tuners – here in Australia the Volvo market is too small – so thanks. Andre from Melbourne

  • New Dickelch at Christmas

Hello, finally after almost 4 months waiting time he is finally there, my new Dickelch. Equipment etc. see signature ! So it still worked for Christmas ! Still hints in own matter: To connect a Parrot FSE to the high performance sound system only a Kram adapter (BUS on ISO, approx. 15 Euro) is needed to have the playback over the speakers. Only with the Premium sound system a Kram-Mute-Box is needed ! With my moose I noticed that the Steering wheel when driving straight ahead is slightly inclined to the right, hope this can be easily fixed. Furthermore, in the front two headlights some moisture can be seen from the inside. Does anyone have experience with this ? Otherwise I thank you all for shortening my waiting time, your many tips, which have often been applied to me. I wish you Merry Christmas ! Greetings Haeken PS: Let me have some time with uploading the pictures !

  • Finally there my fat guy.

Eletric Silver and Chestnut Brown softhide leather, looked just great. I have to make pressure that the car will be delivered next week. I also saw a sport for the first time in black with black discs, the sports leather is awesome. In total there are 3 sports for delivery all black unfortunately no red one with.

  • Alternatives to your Volvos???

Hello, which car would be a real alternative for you to your moose???? I notice that the same brands are always mentioned when it comes to alternatives: Lexus Subaru Audi BMW For me (and my wallet) flying vehicles come into question: Subaru B9 with gas Lexus RX400h (possibly with gas) Audi A6 Avant 3.0 TDI BMW 530d or X5 3.0d (X5 probably too expensive) How do you look???? Greeting Michael

  • Change belt strap at V70 MY 2006- What do I have to bear in mind?

Hello together, for some time always came a flap from the B-pillar on the driver’s side. So then I drove to my to have the problem solved. He then explained to me that the noise from the belt strap / restraint system stood, and that was from the part, which tightens the belt when the overlay, so that one does not “fall out”. He then did something. The flap was gone, but the strap was always annoying, because one must pull out the belt always seaehhrr carefully And even then, he kept on acting. I was told that you had to replace the restraint system completely and that this cost 400€. In recent times, the flapping has become louder and louder. So today, I took off the disguise and wanted to spray some sticky oil into the chamber, like several times before, so that the flapping stops. At the same time, the lid is broken off. That’s totally messed up! The normal restraint function with a “normal” C At least the system blocks the belt as soon as I pull the belt back. I should try not to produce an overlay. Now my questions: Can you buy the belt strap in the accessories and then also install it myself. There are two screws to loosen and pull the plug out, right? Or does the airbag trigger? And where can I get such a restraint system? Somehow I can’t understand that because of such a “pfennig part” there s Restraint system must be completely replaced!

  • The dear oil theme – D4255T11 D5

Hello together, I have the annual spring oil change, after we had taken over our moose last October. Since the last oil change of the previous owner about 9 months and 12,000 km have passed. Currently 0W30 Shell Helix ACEA A5/B5 (manufacturer’s specification) is included. Now I have made a little bit smart and read that A5/B5 was introduced to get out the last milliliters and grams of CO2 for fleet consumption – of course at the expense of durability. others I would like to “get rid of” I also read that 0W40 can be a more sensible choice – I drive city traffic, but sometimes longer motorway stages with 180 km/h cruise control, yet no exhausting of the VMax. DPF is also “fired free” and has time to regenerate. Oil should be warm in most cases, also in the city. One or other short distance cannot be avoided. No trailer coupling, therefore no trailer operation, but when travelling to the south also Oil is changed all 12-15,000 (just for my driving profile), I don’t think anything about extending the intervals in the direction of 30,000km. Now the question is: ACEA A3/B4 with 0W40 or ACEA C3 with 0w30? The C3 is, according to my understanding, more DPF-friendly – so better for my driving profile, that also contains city traffic? Or is the Kleinklamüser, that is artificially raised to science? I like to clarify – I am also looking forward to product recommendations. Mannol might have had some experiences? Maybe we can get a tight thread here, which doesn’t drift off like many others on the subject of oil XD Greetings rlg

  • Volvo V 70 I – Guide Gearbox Extension

Hello everyone, the Volvo V 70 I of a good friend loses oil since the latest time. I looked at it once and found out: KGE is dense, a really disgusting slime, which pulls up into the throttle flap, the engine works with overpressure and you can see it not least on the standing oil around the ignition lines. under the vehicle it does not look better. The increased pressure, according to my guess, caused the shaft seal between the engine and transmission to leak. Between engine u nd Gearbox stands the oil and drips nicely on the ground. That the KGE with oil trap has to be renewed is so far clear, I have the parts already here. But I don’t know how to get to the shaft sealing ring between the engine and transmission. Unfortunately I find in the net no instructions for the expansion of the manual transmission with the Volvo V70 I. Since I have no lift myself and have to pay for it in a self-help workshop, which of course can be paid per hour, I want to know beforehand Can any of you help me? Thank you very much. I’m still uploading pictures of the candles, the area between the motor and the gearbox and the KGE.
