Yesterday we drove 400km from Leipzig to Werne. I drove the first 200km over the A38 with 130km/h cruise control and had a consumption of 10.5 L in the BC. The rest over the A7 and the A44 then came with 120km/h cruise control to 8,9L. Although I drove with gas, but my system is now set top that the values in the BC correspond to the real petrol values. I would describe the track characteristics as similar. My question is now the difference at 10k m/h Difference really so crass or is that a symptom of something? To the completeness 850er, 106kW, MJ 95 Thanks Janko PS: @Markus: I haven’t been able to determine oil consumption after 1500km yet

New here and question Polestar emblem
Hi, first of all: I switched from a 2008 Mercedes W211 200k automatic to a V60 D3 Geartronic Kinetic Business Edition MY 2015 about 4 weeks ago. The reason was that the Mercedes with approx. 120T KM on the clock slowly became expensive because of the pending repairs (fahrwerk complete, Kardanwelle, …). Forward: I feel very comfortable in the V60, super seats, quiet enough space. Since I bought the 100kw Polestar was from the beginning a topic. After 3000km of highway then also to the dealer and a No comparison to before – above all the gearbox optimization pays off. So the car registered with Polestar and received my certificate yesterday – a jewelryless envelope, in it a booklet “What Matters…” and in it the certificate. No emblem for back, nothing, no welcome box. Now the question: normal for Polestar? Is there no more the welcome box? Or does it come later, or or or? Oh yes and before now comes why no D4 – the D3 was with Po lestar cheaper than a comparable D4…

S80 FWD or AWD, what is more recommended?
Hello dear Volvo friends, after I have been reading here for a long time and Aunt Google could not give me satisfactory information, I ask the experts here. First of all my starting situation: Currently we manage our everyday life a Mercedes 220 CE (year 1995, petroler, 150 HP) and a Peugeot 405 (year 1991, petroler, 120 HP). Since both sweethearts are now youngtimer on the way to the oldtimer, I am already thinking for a long time about how it should go on auto. Now I want the gels My favourite is a later Volvo S80 D5, which I would like to know now, is whether I should rather take one with front or all-wheel drive. The theoretical differences (traction, winter and trailer operation advantage AWD or consumption, weight advantage FWD) are known to me. Since the purchase prices of the AWD versions are not higher, I wonder if there is a hook. Therefore, how does it look like? Ktisch out: Does the AWD show positive (or negative) in everyday life? Are any problems that speak against the AWD (or FWD) known? how expensive (priced) repairs may be compared to the FWD In other words: is the AWD or the FWD to be preferred from a technical point of view? The better winter characteristics are by the way not really relevant with us in East Westphalia-Lippe. I hope that someone can help me with the decision, Rainer

XC70, extension of lower front grille (PDC)?
Hello, does someone happen to know if you get the lower grid (with the two internal PDC sensors) even without disassembly of the bumper? And if so, how? In Vida it is only described with removal of the bumper, as well as with the radiator grille, which you also get so “fumbled”. Background of the question: I have to renew my front PDC cable tree.

Roof damage C70II
Däh, now it’s time to go for a swim in the great weather yesterday, when what came in between me: roof couldn’t open any more, i.e. the flap straightened up, but then I got an error message and nothing went on. Shut up then no more and only in the operating instructions stood how to get the flap back. After that also the hint came to the workshop. So instead of to the Biggesee to swim off to the after Siegen. The i with my first “roof damage” fault diagnosis delivered a defect with the Hallsensor No.12, whereby the computer did not tell me where this sensor is installed. Must of course be ordered and will only be able to be fixed after our Norway vacation from next week. It’s good that we wanted anyway because of the luggage for 2 weeks with the large V70 to Norge. Has any of you had similar experiences or I am not only the first with this F ohler??? My 5 year guarantee expired on 16.07., never used greeting and nice weekend! Uwe

Volvo’s ticking fuel pump?
Dear expert Volvo community, My V70 I 2.4 with (just once) 299640km has just been ticking. I try to describe the problem as precisely as possible: I went off, everything without problems as always. Car after 2km, 15min later back into the car, car didn’t start anymore, or mucked again and again and then did nothing more. With a light gas pedal game I got him then, idle normal, drive off, after a few meters, engine off. So again rumgemac At low speed no problem, as soon as we arrived in direction 3000, jerk off, engine. The engine obviously swallowed up, or seems to be slimming down. Engine again, worked again better, ca. 500m at low speed, then I had to turn it off anyway. Following directly to the mechanic of my trust old school, oh miracle, car jumped immediately and started on the way there too. On his farm he made light bitches again and again, but then ran when he ran smoothly. Return home also without problems. I will continue to observe the problem. Our both suspicion is the fuel pump. But before we make out there now and exchange my question on suspicion: Do you have experiences, whether the in this order of magnitude gladly gives up the mind or there are problems for example with a control unit or similar? Or should I at least at the bess change to a brand new V70 for € 58 million 🙂 Thank you very much!

Bilprovning…
Just been there, my moose was on to the Swedish TÜV. Almost all good… no rust on supporting parts or bigger damage that would mean an off! I had made brakes already two months ago, they were completely finished after 330 000 km… as usual there were probably only the blocks changed… so windows and coverings made… normal wear! Now eat the track rod joint on the right slightly knocked out, I had not noticed yet when driving… costs 20 ,- thaler and is no problem! Only stupid is, he licks a bit of fuel on the right side of the tank, must be new, I had not noticed! So just under looked, plastic cover away and… by the gap between tank and car found a rusted petrol line, must be from the pump to the filter! If also no problem, I could cut off and install a somewhat longer hose … only I can not get there… I can only see! Maybe there is another idea. . Out of axis down and tank out… that’s bigger action at the XC! All in all but for a 20-year-old car it’s kind of amazing that’s not on anymore!

And where do I get a schematic for the automatic transmission from with pin support ung. Thank you in advance

Change the clutch…
I’m just getting along with the idea…. Don’t want to wait until it’s too late…. Therefore my question to you. Is it only useful to install a repair kit or should the complete clutch be new? What recommendations do you have regarding manufacturers? I would describe my driving style rather as sporty…. I’ll replace the Simmerring on the gearbox for the reverse gear control levers. That’s my only siff point;-)))) nr. and where do I get it from? Are there any parts that should be taken on the occasion? Will the surgery go through with a friendly mechanic at the WE and I am grateful for every tip (work process, special features, important things) Thank you and l.G., Andreas

Coolant loss
Hello, I will describe here my problem, which should probably be known to many, or already there are some threads to it. I noticed with my S60II D3 already last winter the coolant missing, or has a loss. This was 2015/2016 in the winter. Haber thought nicely after thought ok will be ok. About the meagre spring, summer until autumn was nothing…Now now on the cold days, for a few weeks, I have again coolant loss… When I open the lid slowly, zie The hose is also very hard, and after pressure check after Volvo say immediately, no D3 engine is known with ZK problems…If the first…wanted to make ZKD immediately, without CO2 testing. In addition, I have the feeling that the Volvo does not pull asoo as before…come up to 200 km/h…with ach and krach…wasn’t like that before… Then I went to the workshop around the corner…This one has a little leaky it tested….negative Then CO2 test done….negative…. now I should just drive like this… Or do I just want to have ZKD done for expensive things like this? Since it could not be determined… Therefore my question: has someone possibly had the same symptoms? Is what known? Am really desperate with the cart… For answers and advice I am grateful… Gruss Enekin….
