    Hey community I would need a recommendation in terms of brake ventilation device for the private user. There are two variants I have had to say. Compressed air and manual. Those here in the workshops are not really able to vent my brakes clean no matter where I get to everything half-hearted … Now I don’t like anymore and just look for such a device for a normal price.     Hello guys, I have a slightly different question. How does a tank watch work? I had the idea to install an AI from the turbo in my 106kW 850er and to convert the turbo needle into a tank indicator for my gas system. The KME’s tank watch outputs 0.49V with full and approx. 4V with empty tank. A tank watch is controlled by a resistance. So you would have to generate a current of approx. 0.017A with a tank watch that measures between 30 and 240 ohms. This is why the thread. I hope one of you has an idea how to realize it. So far.   • Automatic, higher slip of the converter in the cold normal?

    Hello together, unfortunately have only experience with newer automatic transmissions, therefore the precautionary question. It is noticeable that my newly bought V70 only has a significantly higher slip on the converter in the cold (e.g. overnight at below 3°C) after the start on the first few hundred meters than normal. In other words, the engine goes up to approx. 2500-2800U/min high to get away to some extent. Switching operations however as usual soft and almost imperceptible.   • Battery discharge overnight

    Hello, after a long time the Josch also reports with a problem. For 3 days the battery discharges overnight. I noticed this 3 days ago at the slow running starter. Yesterday (after about 18 hours of service the starter went still felt 2 revolutions. After starting aid and some driven km he jumped again well. I took the fuse for the interior lighting out yesterday. So can be excluded as a current thief. Just same game. 2 revolutions; celebration off It can’t be switched off in the trunk either. Measurement on battery: 12,35 volts.

  • Kaufberatung / rust on the fender

    Moin to the country, I have been offered a nice 850-comb. On both fenders is blooming rust, rather sideways in the middle and not at the wheelrails. It blooms almost on both fenders. Now I don’t only have no idea, I don’t even know any rust from my previous elks. I have to adjust myself to it – and then negotiate accordingly – that the fenders will rust through and I have to renew them or can just grind them and re-read them. I wonder where the rust occurs, does it have a special meaning, or does it happen more often? Thank you in advance for your support.

  • Problem: Automatic lighting

    Hello together, I have recently had an XC60 Mj. 2014. Like all “new volvo drivers”, I also have to get used to the non-existent coming home function. The button on the remote control has its advantages. But I don’t think this function works properly with me. According to the operating instructions, “Abschlendlicht, Standlicht, Spiegelleuchten, …” should approach these buttons when operating. With me all lights are on, only the dipped light is not.
