Dear Volvo fans, I’ve recently been proud owner of a V70 III. I’m super happy. Unfortunately, he has a Macke. And that’s why the speaker at the front left (high and midrange driver) doesn’t work, and so the parking-pieper at the front and apparently not the hands-free device. I’m a bit clumsy electricalally, so I have the hope that someone from experience can rule out mistakes. Or this is a well-known problem, and already an idea… h is very welcome. Thank you very much.

XC60 D3 VEA – engine replacement after 30 TKM, ZKD warped, washout in cylinder 2
Unfortunately, it is now officially… after just 30,000 km of mileage and 23 months of life, our moose gets a new heart. After AGR-cooler exchange in January, the thickness reported last week with “low fuel level, safely park wagons”. First test at the resulted in too high pressure in the cooling system, when opening the coolant rose from below minimum to above maximum. Yesterday it was taken stationary, this morning in the phone call the diagnosis: – Cylinder head(seat?) The engine has to be completely replaced, approval has already been granted. At the end of the week we get the car back again. With a mileage of almost exactly 30,000 km a frightening result for me. Even if individual defects can occur again and again, my personal confidence in the reliability of the otherwise really great car is currently shaken. The remaining hope remains that the moose now simply lä regardless of the fact that we are still in the initial warranty period, I am happy to have already completed the ProPlus connection guarantee in December. Invoice for AGR would have been > 1,000,–, for the engine probably clearly > 10,000. Don’t think about if both defects occurred after the expiry of the warranty and then without warranty extension….

V60 hand squeezed again and again in the door handle
Servus, does it happen to you sometimes that you squeeze your hand right in the door handle? First of all, the thread is not meant to be fun now. I don’t understand how Volvo could design the handle this way. If I don’t watch out, I grab the handle out of habit right and zack the hand is squeezed on the sharp edge. Can I imagine that this is not so funny with children. I am used to something else from the V50 platform, there the door went also a good bit easier off f. I have already lubricated the handle decently, so everything is already smoother, but still happens. Other handles that would fit, hardly exist? As I said, I don’t understand how Volvo could install something like that, otherwise everything is super ergonomic and safe designed but at the handles you hurt yourself decently

Cylinder Head/Hairriss Problem D3/D5 Engines…Despite the purchase recommendation?
At the moment I am looking for a used V60 (D3/D5). Starting from my budget only the first years of construction (2010/2011) come into question. To what extent can one recommend these years of construction with the short-term problems with faulty cylinder head and the resulting engine damage? The vehicle currently being planned would fall exactly into this production period (EZ. 02/2011). Unfortunately this vehicle is not used by the Volvo dealer. . Thus relatively bad cards for a possible collusive regulation. A normal used car warranty is not extended indefinitely… I am somewhat unsure to take the risk. Volvo 850 BJ 6/1996 ABS & TRACS light no longer goes off
Hello together, my Volvo 850 Kombi is shut down and now the HU and ASU should be renewed. Unfortunately, the ABS & TRACS luminaire lights up permanently. Unfortunately, my last screwdriver workshop in Berlin is no longer available, but already at the last TÜV preparation there was this problem. If I remember correctly, the diagnosis computer reported a failure at the back right side of the sensor. In the available diagnostic computer at that time, my vehicle could not be found and the readout Somehow you are bypassing it and the HU has been issued without any problems. An interesting detail is that the 850’s is one of the last built and the diagnostic plug is already in the center console in the interior under the coin holder. Now the question is how to either fix the error or disable the control lights to complete the HU successfully. What would you advise me to do pragmatically? Best regards!

… I want to cry!
I have been living here for 8 years now and have a rather small parking lot in front of the door. Last year my friend ‘himself’ has paved the same new. Nice. Was not absolutely necessary. -> But he put a small pillar on the front right of my parking bay: so that I “NOT ALWAYS” drive over the discounts while parking and the edge stones crooked. … he never said so directly – but meant! It is actually never something (at the discounts and stones) n). For me, something like harassment. I told him that the said “poller” is extremely dangerous for not only my bumpers and that I already have to circulate narrowly in a small curve into my parking lot and that the part should be gone again. Thickly as my landlord is, he did not make logo anything. For quite a while nothing happened – until last Wednesday: I apparently didn’t get the curve as always and as always could not see the prepel. SKRUNTSCH – Stoßstan This seems irreparable. … I could strangle the guy and even more. I hardly ever touch the “Sch… Beet” or the edge stones. And, as in the pictures, the repositioned curve would leave room still loose… … the dirty stone still stands in the way, even if I park correctly! What is your opinion: – Can he just put such an obscure part in the area? – Can I demand damages ?

Exhaust for S60 2.4 petrol Bj 2001
Hello S60 professionals, for the OHL vehicle we need a new exhaust in the foreseeable future. The holder in front of the rear silencer was torn down and was replaced by an innovative spare part from VOLVO (price value). But the front and rear pot and above all the rear suspension no longer have the eternal life. On demand with the really extremely friendly one I sat fortunately as my friendly warehouseman named the price. As Asterix always said: “…the spiders, the Romans!” But in our case it is real “spinners” from the aftersale area at VOLVO-Germany, unfortunately! I have decided in this case to search for the original supplier or a qualitatively adequate alternative supplier. Volvo 850 ABS ECU
Hello everybody! It’s time again. The TÜV calls to the performance! I drove mostly the summer over without ABS/TRACKS. In case of error reading mostly speed RadSensor is implausible. I then checked all sensor rings, ok! I then also renewed the rear cable, no change! Have observed that if it is very cold ( minus degrees) the system for a short time, depending on temperature 5 -15 min, , , works. I thought, if possibly a cold soldering point is to blame? Was on the search for E rsatz or repair. I found a hint that my existing control unit would not be suitable for my car! Is there a list what you can see, which number my component must have. On my stand the following numbers on it: 9162675 6840 10.0946-0402.3 3X5669 Controller United + TRACKS 4 WD Is the part right or wrong or is the error somewhere else to look for? As always, grateful for all helpful hints

V70 D4 MJ 2016 loses cooling liquid
Hello, my V70 D4 GT has barely 10000 km on the hump and is incontinent. For the first time the problem was noticeable on Christmas Eve. I was late and I still had to pick up my Brunder. Therefore, I ripped down the 180 km from my place of residence in Stuttgart in 80 minutes. The cruise control was wherever possible at 200 km/h. When I wanted to leave Stuttgart again, the message “cooling medium level” appeared to stop low safely. In the dark was n As the temperature was inconspicuous, I agreed with Volvo Assistance to cover the rest of the route leisurely and control the coolant level the next day. In cold condition, it was well below “min”. Volvo Assistance therefore sent a friendly person from the ADAC. He filled the tank with water and carried out a pressure test after a test drive. It was just as inconspicuous as the visual inspection of leaks. After the holidays I then drove to my Volvo dealer. He could not notice any leaks on the stage. Of course I also checked the parking space. There was no cooling liquid to find. 600 km after the first occurrence of the problem, the coolant stand is in cold condition again under “min”. The vehicle has dropped this distance somewhat to equal parts in short distance operation and on the highway. I realize that the passage to the handle Nevertheless, I would like to show up there as well informed as possible. That is why I am interested in your assessment. Two observations could be helpful. At the beginning of November the vehicle had a marten damage. At the same time an exhaust gas temperature sensor had to be changed. The dealer could not detect any further damage. And, as I said, a liquid loss was not detectable since then. In the weeks before Christmas, especially as long as the engine was still It can be a clue to air in the system as far as I know.
