Hello, I’ve been dealing with VDASH for a while now, but I won’t be really smart about it. There are free features like error reading and paid? I would like to add the Autolight function to my moose, for example. Do these extra packages cost extra money? As I understand it, I have to “crack” the code of the CEM via VDASH, which can take a little eternity, correct? I need a compatible DICE, a laptop with VDASH. Internet access, support battery for the vehicle, because it must stand on ignition II during the code reading operation, right? Is there any way to have it done in its surroundings? I only have a communal garage where I can not leave the moose standing unattended for a whole day and no internet is available. What happens if the moose is in service 2.0 with the friend and then updates the software if necessary? Is the additional software then gone via VDASH? Maybe someone’s gonna help me out.

Engine damage??? Engine runs but clacked.
Hello everyone, my wonderful Volvo V70 has a motor damage. That says at least the nice man from the ADAC, who told me to be a learned roofer… I had him to be towed to Volvo in the middle of the night in my distress, but they didn’t even look at him and offered me to change the engine for 12,000 euros. So I picked him up again and found that he started and the engine was running. However, he makes an unhealthy sound. Unfortunately, the problem is not solved. It starts, the engine runs calmly for about a minute and then you hear a metallic cracking irregularly. Did any of you have a similar problem or any idea how to go on troubleshooting? I am very happy about all the tips and ideas of you. I still don’t want to give up my little Swedes. Thank you for your help and many of you Greetings! Sarah

MKL V70 III, 145PS, built in 2008
Moin together, this morning the MKL went to me during a move. Otherwise no noticeable changes. I have heard quite once that the exhaust gas values change so that the Lambda probe complains. Now unfortunately I have no tester at my hand, only from Monday again. Currently I have the vehicle battery clamped off for a long time, maybe that helps. I know the information is poor and I try to get more information: but do you think I can get more information about the car? Is there any idea what it can still be, what can be checked for? Have the good one not been so long, have already read something of adjustable camshaft and sensors that I can measure. So multimeter is there, can I check something with it? And if so, where do I tackle it? Greetings DerKlet

Plug in the trunk
Help! With my V70 year 2003 the tank cover lock does not work, the lock has been removed and tested it works. Now there are two plugs in the trunk of the spare wheel, one is not used and with the other there are loud white cables coming from the direction of the fuse box, where with me 2 cables are loose, now I suspect it is the cables for the tank cover, but do not know where to plug them. Can someone please help me. Thanks Heinz

Blinker on the roller…
I have a question that doesn’t necessarily fit here, but I feel most comfortable between VOLVOians. I’m making a fun roller for my father for the 60th (such a delta wheel for pensioners to push…). And since he’s a raster, the thing gets a few extras. – 12V battery – blue light – 4-way signal horn – Audi grill – black fine dust badge – 2 HELLA – additional headlights – white rim tires – old bike distance holder – beer can holder – and I want a permanent drone too What do I need for a turn signal? But only the 12V battery, a turn signal and a turn signal relay, right? On eBay there are a lot of relays in it. As long as he has 3 contacts, he is to be used, or do I have to think about something? Does anyone still have one or two motorcycle turn signalers lying around for small money?

C70 rear window dissolves – 3D pressure frame a solution?
Actually I wrote following in 3D-print thread. But since I did not get an answer, here again separately, in the hope that this time my question will work out more. I have no idea about 3D-print, so my question may seem a bit naive to the professionals among you, nevertheless… I have the problem with my C70 convertible the problem that the rear window always resolves at one point or another. Glue attempts on my part end with the previously described Erg ebnis. I used the Petec high temperature silicone Matic, before Sikaflex which was already recommended here for such fales. Now my idea was to make a kind of narrow frame, which lies around fabric and disc on both sides and which is screwed through the disc on both sides in addition to the bonding. Can one produce such with the 3D pressure or is the curvature of the disc a problem? Otherwise also an aluminum frame could be a solution… Volvo fabric is in a very good condition does not consider an exchange of the whole top. Thank you in advance for your answers.

Tools Clamping roll V-belts
Had someone of you a link for the tool with which to relieve the tension roller from the belt. I was already looking, at Skandix there is a square without lever for 45€ that is then me too much. A long lever would be good

False air low power, jerking, no clean pulling of the engine
Hello all, my engine (10V 144hp) has hardly any power and I guess wrong air. You can hear it too. With the connections it doesn’t matter where the tube goes. But I have read there a larger flange, on which no hose is attached. The only thing I found suitable is the secondary air pump, but the stub is free as I have seen on workshop drawings, right? And what can someone have moved a screw turned into the fir tree? It doesn’t seem to me that you want to close a flange with it. Can otherwise a leaky exhaust due to lack of counter pressure be the reason that it draws false air? Thank you and greeting Kadett-C

Exchange of ideas / Wanted is a van with good equipment
Hi! For short or long I would like to expand my vehicle portfolio with a vehicle segment, which Volvo unfortunately can not operate, namely a van. Therefore, I am currently looking, apart from the usual suspects like VW T5/T6, because this brand does not come to me on the yard. As a budget I would put on 20,000 euros. Required would be: – Automatic – Diesel – 5 seats, with single seats rear – Seat heating front – Leather would be nice – would like sliding doors back – AHK – NO VW, NO FORD – NO MINIVAN! Equipment is ahead of engine power, so rather more equipment than a larger engine. Vito/Viano/V-Class would be ok, but are mostly rocked down in the price range and have some rust problems. Do you have further suggestions with as own experience as possible? Greetings,Martin

Problems with the particle filter
Hello together, first of all, I have little idea of cars, so please for tolerance. I drive a Volvo V60 Diesel, 163hp, BJ 2015, 130Tsd KM. So far I had no problems. I use the car only to commute to work (one-way 45km). A short time ago a message appeared on the display on the way to work: “Maintenance engine system required (or similar)”. At the same time the power of the engine was severely throttled. Until then, the problem had disappeared on its own and also the message. The error memory resulted in: “Regeneration time particle filter exceeded (or similar)”. The car mechanic could not do much with it, advised me to turn directly to Volvo when reappearing. At Volvo I had also called afterwards and they could not do anything with the problem description. Today the problem has occurred again. It was remarkable that in the days before the first appearance of the problem I drove more short distance than usual. Do you have any advice? Thank you.
