Moin, I’ve got a c70 T5, well cared for in general, always running the same volvo handler 95 000 km. Well, my problem is, the feather domes in front are rusted on one side so strong that you can look into the wheelhouse. Only for understanding it’s not the cathedral bearings or so, but the recording is the metal part of the body. But that’s what almost exceeds the car value. I’m looking for now, for other cars give the ” Hutzen ” so a Is one of you got an idea where you can get something like that. Or does someone from the Hamburg area know someone who can fix it at least for a reasonable price. I am grateful for every info.

Pictures Microswitch tailgate lock
Hey guys, after changing my rear flap lock (switch motor in the bag) I still have the problem that the micro switch doesn’t reach and the lighting stays on. I came across a sheet metal on the MS via the search function, which you can bend. Did someone ever document the repair using pictures or can describe the procedure to me? I would like to know in advance where I have to start and what it looks like in there. I assume that the microswitch will give the signal to the Guard II, whether the tailgate is open or closed. Thank you Janko

Door handle stays hanging
Hello, with my S60 several door handles hang after opening. But you can push them easily again or you close the door strongly. Basically it is only an optical problem, maybe some oil is enough in the right place? Thanks for tips!

Problems Windscreen wiper V/XC70 III
Hi, everybody. My XC70 has a phenomenon that makes me quite stunned now. Since the pick-up at the wipe, always light stripes remain directly in the viewing area. As with older wipers, which I have always had exchanged directly with such signs. Important: For at least 10 years I have always had this done, which probably always used original spare parts for me. There were never any problems. Anyway, I have claimed this several times, the wipers were changed several times (4 – 5 times), in the summer even the whole mechanics. Without improvement. Another recommended to have the disc changed… Had now complained about it in connection with other problems at VCG in Cologne, then the nice man on the phone told me immediately that the problem was known in Sweden and one would work with high pressure on it. There should be a solution there at short notice… The interesting thing about it is that I had the problem yesterday I was so annoyed by it that, contrary to my habit, I just got some Airtwin wipers from Bosch. Mounted, problem solved! I wonder, what do they do??? Does one of you have the same problem? Greetings P.com

XC60 MJ2015: Racising wind noise between 80 and 120 km/h
My XC60 already has a long history of suffering with regard to unpleasant noises in the interior. My friend, however, has now managed to free the center console from its permanent snare after countless attempts. However, for a few weeks now I have noticed a quiet rustling noise, which comes from the A-pillar area of the passenger side between 80 and 120 km/h. The noise is quiet, but still annoying. It sounds like, for example, a dry I’ve searched everything, but I can’t find any leaves or other foreign objects in the area. The seals outside all seem to be tight. An attempt with folded outside mirrors was also negative. Someone an idea?

Problems with XC 90? Purchase decision
Hi Fories, Blondchen wants to buy a new car and fluctuates extremely between the X5 (incarnate BMW driver) and the XC 90 (which I find optically simply hornier than the BMW – ash on my head :-). I hope you can help me. I had a brief look at the Tuareg – but only heard negatives. Now I wanted to hear from you “insiders” about how satisfied you are with the reliability of your XC 90s. Is there anything special I have to pay attention to, we If I buy a used XC 90 (thinking of a 2-3 year old car…). Does he have any child’s illnesses??What is the Servie of the workshops??? Had found out at the Tuareg that VW can’t really handle the high price segment and with a broken rain sensor at VW with “that’s what they have to live with……to be fed.” So and now go and praise the car or scold it *grins* I wait eagerly for reactions… lg from the “swab-like” Tanja

ABS/DSTC maintenance required
A week ago it had the first said message flashing up… with the off and turn on of the car he usually went wake up but now it does not help anymore.. according to öamtc it is the abs sensor at the front left (electrical error). Since then also the tempomat no longer works like t1 and t2 Even the automatic light does not switch the dipped light to position 0. The active sensor has been changed but the error is still there. At the plug approx. 10,5V on… . Öamtc exclude the magnet ring because otherwise the error would be erasable and only occurs again when driving. Did someone ever have the same error? I think next I will measure the voltage right and see if it is comparable “low”. Otherwise I am stunned Lg and thank you already Ps. Are the sensors sensitive to the installation?

XC60 vs V70 / 5-cylinder D3 136PS sufficient
Hello together, since my C30 BJ07 wants to retire so slowly, and here now two toddlers want to be carried as extra passengers, I am currently looking for a new moose. We have here still a S60 BJ18, but that drives mostly my better half and is if only with roof luggage carrier halfway suitable for holiday trips. I could have just as well created the post in the V70 2 forum, because I still do not have between V70 II and XC60 I until recently, an SUV was out of the question for me, but I have seen good offers here and there, and I must be a little more flexible with my pre-conceptions of max. 15-18k Euro. Now to my questions: Can someone from experience make a comparison between both models here? Sure, the V70 is even bigger. But how is that from the driving behavior. The XC60 should be quite head-heavy. Never driven an SUV, except for a few KMs. the XC90 I, and that was quite strange from the driving feeling. I like it rather well from the driving feeling, my S80 I was my dream car a few years ago. And can someone say something about the old D3 5-cylinder with 136hp? Do not need a pseudo sports car with high final speed, but hate not to come out of the quark. I only know the older 2.4L 5-cylinder petroler with 140hp from my S80 I. That was already quite tough out, but in the end enough. r currently annual driving performance of 58,000 kilometres does not play the delusional role now, then rather the reliability and durability of the engine. Thanks in advance for your input!

LESJÖFORS suspension springs
to make it right I don’t want to have meim elk Teifer but just safe on the road and this time I don’t want to buy at ebay sodern at Wessel u Müller. This is a car supplier company with us in Osnabrück just like Heil u Son, and like all the hot ones, so I buy these feathers on site, price is first another thing, to bring it simply on the point my elk simply springs too strong by after which I had installed the springs of Mapco (Ebay ) !!! was anfags allles so far ok , so test drive made everything suppi , . but then I noticed that something was wrong With the moose with the time the moose feathers in the long curvy too strongly , as at the beginning with the old springs . So I looked for one factory town after the other on , and also no factory town found anything obstinate on the vehicle , no hooded axle bodies no hooded axle suspension , no hooded warehouses and also no broken cathedral warehouses . simply nothing you can relate it could be as if everything was ok from chassis. But to be quite sure I also lead to our Volvo dealer Volvo in Osnabrück – Autohaus Ellers. also the first noted nothing, and I also said that theElch also steers with the rear axle, say achsböcke and achslager,,, also those are taken from the company Volvo in Osnabrück – Autohaus Ellers in mine at his in sight. According to everything ok also domlager and damper everything ok, but then I said that I new fed The good Volvo screwdriver now assumes that I gans have probably installed the wrong springs (Mapco Ebay) I also told him that I had quite a bit to fight the springs to build that these were nevertheless an corner longer than the old ones, about two to 3 cm were probably longer could have been a bit more, the Volvo screwdriver now assumes that I built the springs in t would have belonged to the for the Nivoaustadttung , which however I did not have to my elk sodern only the normal urbanization without Nivo . So I have to convert the whole axis to Nivomaten staby domlager etc . the whole becomes however too expensive to me . Now I want to start the 3 try and remove these fucking mapco springs and strengthen feathers which are simmated for this car and so I am on to Wessl u Müller here in Osnabrück and have let me know which bits I eat back have let me first about these Lesjöforsfeder to make smart in hope a safer car on the road and not to have it deeper, but just safe. so people here in forum what is your opinion about LESJÖFORS suspension springs ??? or experiences ?? thank you mfg Lothar
