    Tach, I read here in nem Beitrag aus 2003 that it is possible to bring the 140’er by means of a matching SG, to 170PS. The details are rough clear to me, because it is the WFS, which plump said should be cloned via copy/paste. I already have a suitable SG lying around. Now I lack the suitable help to implement it. Help could be that I send both SGs somewhere (gg TG), or I get a good tip which software I need and which other materials, soic-clip etc. Would be happy to hear from you, even as you did.     Hello Volvo friends, with my 2000er 2,4l petrol engine, the problem is that, after starting, there is no dipped-beam, flasher or other lighting. If you switch to the stand-up light only this one works, the flasher remains without function. After 1 to 3 minutes, the haunting has an end and everything works as usual.     Hello, I’m driving the 2nd Volvo. I’m very satisfied. Currently for 9 years a 2001 V70 II with gasoline and 140 hp, it’s the best car I’ve ever owned. The quality is outstanding. Now I think about buying another one. I’ve looked around…the newer V70 III gasoline has unfortunately heard a Ford engine…I don’t think that’s so good…do you think that’s so advisable? What do you think? I’ve also looked at an XC 60. but rust spots on the fenders. I didn’t even know that from my Volvos…the rust?! When did they introduce this “pgrade” of the rust flowers? I need a big station wagon for my business with AHK and gasoline engine. I unfortunately drive a lot of short distance in winter, therefore I prefer not to have a diesel…I heard, then they will break quickly… I want to spend about 3000-6000 euros. What would you recommend me for one?

  • V60 Plugin Hybrid does not start – “Electric Check 60 seconds wait …”

    Hello, last week my V60 Plugin Hybrid (EZ 2015, MJ 2016) didn’t jump any more after a 2-week holiday in the car park. The problem is this: Keys in – Start button pressed. Engine does not start. All symbols glow and the message: “Electric Check 60 seconds wait then Start button again– (message goes away quickly, so it can be slightly different) Symbols also go off again, only the symbol “Check–Stays (my memory after) After 60 seconds and there is nothing going on. I tried the x-time. Nix happened. Vehicle didn’t jump on. ADAC couldn’t help. Starter battery was slightly weaker, but ok. Was probably not the reason why towing from 7th floor parking garage. Was an interesting experience. In the Volvo workshop the message I described was unknown in the display. Error memory was read out. After a first diagnosis it was said that the DC/DC converter, which converts 400V into 12V, is defective. This exchange alone would cost 3,350 EUR after an estimate. It was said that this transducer defect is very likely the cause. But the workshop was certainly not. Therefore, the converter should first be exposed and something else tested. That’s the current state of affairs. Still to the previous history – where I don’t know if this is important (the workshop meant that maybe something has already been suggested): In March I left the following occasionally occurring phenomena. check: After start check-symbol lights up. Engine does not start. Start is then done at the second press of the start button. From time to time the message “Hybrid system defective. Maintenance required”. Despite this message no errors were found. I continued. These messages occurred again in the last weeks. And then just now this failure. Now I wait for the feedback from the workshop. You might want to send a technical report to the factory. Good is that you do not want to cause unnecessary high costs. But there is probably uncertainty. Who knows the described problem – and maybe even has solution instructions? I am grateful for every hint. Best regards

    Moin, my V60 is ticking. I’ve been listening mainly to radio about “TuneIn” for a long time. Since yesterday my favorites are missing and are replaced by Norwegian, Polish and Austrian channels. Tunein registers me with an accout (mmwdowczyk – see pictures). After my new registration, various favorite lists appear under favorites in a short time (the pictures were taken during a 30-minute drive) and my registration is “forgotten”. such problems and can help me with a solution?     Hello. I have a Volvo xc60 bj. 2015. 2.4 diesel. D4. D5244t17. 120kw AWD. Automatic. I want to change the timing belt change. Are there holes to lock. Zb. With other motors you can lock the camshaft and crankshaft. So nothing slips. How much NM should the bolts be tightened from the deflector and tension roller. 25nm? How much NM the tensioner from the wedge belt? M8x35. Thank you

  • v70 what’s right now?

    So after my last posting about the right engine I think it will be a 170Ps.Then I downloaded the test and the breakdown statistics at the ADAC.Best years of construction are probably 2003-2004.So according to various German technical journals the V70 turns out to be an old Kaputtgeh car.Fear!!!Some even claim space is not enough.I don’t understand.My question is whether other V70 owners have spoken the car nicely in terms of practice, durability and useful value. In retrospect it is a bad car and you(s) would have driven better with an E-Class 5-BMW.I have to say for myself the V70 is one of the most beautiful cars and I am afraid that I do not objectively assess the car realistically.

  • Sporadic ignition oscillators

    Moin together ! After a long time again a problem … Last week actually stayed with #1. Shortly before first light, then vehement ignition oscillations. Had to stop at the roundabout – no stand-up gas anymore, out. Rien ne vas plus, did not want to start any more. Happiness in the misfortune: My “bossman” happened to be on site and together with the breakdown service one diagnosed -> distributor in the bucket ?! HA ! cap & runner I happened to have in the car ! … there they have that once just snowed ll changed in the snow at -5° and …. Runs ! Puuh, pig had. As always the BUT: Starts impeccable, stand gas clean, accelerates normal, everything so far OK. Only sporadically short to violent dropouts. ! No matter whether on fuel or LPG ! So very probably not the pump. Today new ignition lines installed. Candles look good and only max. 5000KM inside. No significant change – still bucks occasionally a little, Passes to 99% with constant ride with 1500-20 00 rpm, engine(empty)run otherwise impeccable. Is ignition coil ? I think rather less…. Does someone have “flamming” ideas or the same problem (have) ?
