Unfortunately since today a problem with the automatic of my XC60. When I switch from position “R” to position “D” there is a “stroke” / “Ruck”. I don’t know exactly how to describe it, fills up as if you let the clutch come too fast with a switch…… Someone has a clue so far ahead? Can only on Dinstag or Wednesday to, if I have not yet remained on the track.

Oil in the cooling water tank and oil loss V50 D3
Hello, about 2-3 months ago the BC indicated that the oil level was low. I was a little surprised, because half a year before an oil change was made. I couldn’t quite explain it, thought the workshop had not filled enough and the engine used something (km stand about 160 t). Then I noticed a little oil on the ground (very little, very unclear where it came from). In the cooling water tank was also oil. I have now replaced the oil cooler. From the cooling water circle. I thought, if I blow in with the old oil cooler and keep the other hole (from the water cycle), then air can escape over the other cycle. But that wasn’t so. Can the oil cooler still have been leaking or does something else come into question? Otherwise I hadn’t noticed anything, engine power normal, temperature indicator max. in the middle. VG V40Oldi

Context Automatic climate control and outdoor temperature display?
Dear Volvo experts, since last summer, the automatic air conditioning system in my wife’s V50 has been spinning. The system is no longer cooled properly. Although there is a burst of cold air every now and then, but this is not enough to cool the interior of the car. So let coolant check and fill, no change. Then we noticed that the outside temperature indicator indicates incorrect values (change between -28 and -6 degrees) regardless of the actual outside temperature. the external temperature sensor and the incorrect function of the air conditioning system? Thank you in advance for helpful tips!

V70, year 2002, 235tkm – recommended purchase?
Hello, I’m currently looking for a used Volvo V70 and I got a rather handsome offer. It’s a Volvo V70 2.4D D5 Premium with built in 2002, automatic transmission, diesel, 190hp. According to the seller, the vehicle is fully serviced checkbook, service was carried out only at Volvo. The last inspection took place before 15tkm. The car has exactly the features I want and is also optically flawless. The good track has already 235,000km on the speedometer. You don’t look at the kilometers, it should also be a pure long-distance vehicle. Nevertheless, I am not sure if the investment of a good 8000,- € in the car is worthwhile. Finally, I would like to continue to stand with an engine / or transmission damage on the stand strip in the next 2 years and 40,000km. Other question: How reliable are the used car checks of the DEKR A, TÜV, ADAC and Co.? When I go to visit the vehicle I definitely want to have a used car check carried out. Does the check protect me from experiencing the above mentioned scenario in the near future or can this not be estimated by the check?

V70 – wiping water from -6 degrees no longer usable
Hello together The winter has arrived in the North German lowlands and the heater is really worth it now. The consumption is now about 8 liters, which is completely ok. Now the problem: the wiping water can no longer be used from about -6 degrees. The wiper arms move though (and from the headlights one hears the noise) – but nothing comes. Back as in front. Is this a safety feature, which is not in the onboard book? The water can not be frozen, the Beh older is almost full and there is also a lot of “winter clear” in it. As soon as the car is back in the garage for a few minutes and the temperature has risen – everything works wonderful. Do you have that too??? Thank you & Greeting Lars

Leasing ends: Take over or return?
Hello together, In July the four years lease period for my 2014 Volvo V 70 D4 VEA ends. I am very pleased with the car, he has now run 112,000 km, at leasing end it will be about 120,000. I have been tormenting myself for a few weeks with the question whether I keep the car and buy out or a new lease. To buy in, I have to put with a used car guarantee 17,000 € on the table. If I return it, come after visual inspection of my dealer approx. 500- max. 1000€ for In the light of the leasing conditions for the V 60, in which a brand new car with BLP ~62TEUR on 36 months and 25,000 km per year does not even cost 500 €, I do not bother with the decision. For the V70 speak its reliability, its large tank, which I really appreciate, its favorable maintenance costs, the perfect full equipment for me and the good maintenance condition. So far, the vehicle is in good condition without any defective condition. fen. Brakes around are new, I have to buy tyres now, so that the vehicle can certainly run for two years without a big investment, if nothing unforeseen happens. Actually, I had already decided to keep it. Now I have sat in the V 60 and grumble again. What would you do?

Quality problem or completely normal! When there are some failures to mark.
Hello people, joy Easter by the way!I stopped today again, with my quality car from Sweden.I bought me 3months ago allegedly well used BJ.06/2005 with 108tkm. (d5 switch)Now have the 5th off planned workshop visit since purchase date. And that with this mileage performance! My old 940s with 428tkm did not have such problems. Is my quality claim too high or has Volvo become so bad. 112000km Generator-free run and servo pump 112500km new servo pump housing torn again exchanged 115000km tensioning and turning roller + rib belt for safety 116000km engine bearing defective 118000km Today’s failure probably wheel hub or drive joint vo li. Actually had to drive before my V70 longer, but if this goes on, it can not afford to be sow without wanting to peek around here now. With my old one I had only maintenance times a brake times a track If I ask the question, it’s the only thing we’ve ever had! Think seriously about another one!But I don’t have an alternative to the V70, with the same understatement.

Replace rear lights
Hello dear community, after almost 19 years our Volvo was of the opinion that he needs new rear lights. They are not yet faded, but my dad broke them when ranking with the WoWa, where the bikes were on it. The left, lower part now has a hole, which was provisionally glued with tape. Now Paps ordered new lamp parts. Are from Depo and Made in Taiwan. The original ones were still from France. I looked at them briefly: there are some Your numbers on it, including an E4 in a circle. I hope they are allowed. Because the things were ordered, where I wasn’t there and was then totally surprised yesterday to hold new and really nice shiny tail lights in the hand. My question now: does anyone have instructions here that I can replace the ones tomorrow? At the moment unfortunately only the lower parts are available. The upper ones are still the old ones. Looks then slightly modest, but well. Do I have to be more or less water-resistant, Tim PS: does someone have an address for new, top rear light parts? Should be for the 850s, though. The V70s don’t get me there. Unfortunately, I insist on originality.

Why do the pears always burn through???
Evening. I noticed that at my moose in regular distances always burn the light bulbs VORNE (H7). So about every 4 months.! Sometimes left and sometimes right. NEVER both at the same time. I then changed only one, and also sometimes both. And the pears did not touch with the fingers. Had last extra gloves on.!!!! And I changed the brand also. Finally I took Philips. Does anyone have an idea what it might be.??? Mfg. Stig.
