Hello everybody, I am currently looking for a suitable Volvo V70 as a “long-term vehicle” for the future. I drive very little and intend to use the car with appropriate preparation and care for several years. As part of my search I came across a Volvo V70 from 2008 and was able to discover enormous rust there with great eyes already in the display: Offer on Mobile.de See the photos of the quite extensive rust spots on wheel runs and fenders all around. My question now to the balanced Volvo-Plenum: So far, I’ve taken the V70 out of it to show itself quite resistant to rust. What is your practical experience here? Thank you and thank you very much!

Hello, after the old car has dropped off, we are faced with the decision to buy a Volvo V70 EZ01/2010 D5 2.4 129kW/175PS with 163,500 km and automatic transmission from private. The car is 3rd hand (1st was 7 months car rental, 2. a Dekra Ing., 3. my work colleague). Once a year he was at Volvo for inspection / oil change. Never been special. I have read a lot about the reliability here in the forum the last few days, but I am on the problem of cooling water leakage. t / cylinder head / ZKD pushed, as identical to the larger Bi-Turbo engines. Question: Is that really so?! Or were these only individual cases? Can I neglect this after 9 years and 163,500 km? My driving profile: 10,000 km per year (I don’t want a petrol engine); 3x the week 60 km (woman to horse), more often annually with 1700 kg caravan on holiday (2000 km…; retrofitted rigid AHK with double fan available), to work the bike. It should cost around 8,000 euros. Timing belts and the 4 tires in one year. TÜV/Inspection is still almost new. Would be happy to hear from you, thank you! Stefan

I need the possibility to read the engine data (detonation/fuel mixture…). Background is a strange error in the engine run, which occurs so sporadically, that I do not want to start unprepared with it. After warming up the engine it sometimes comes to an unround training run (rubbing). There then run g 2 cylinders don’t feel right and the speed fluctuates (that’s where I want to be able to read where exactly what’s wrong). The vehicle doesn’t go out, it also takes gas, but it doesn’t feel nice. It also doesn’t seem to matter whether it’s gas or gasoline… Switching changes nothing. Curious is that I have the error 2 times a day after about 5km and then for quite a while no more (incl. 800km of holiday ride without a single jerker). It’s not on the GT, climate compressor runs freely, K For me, there are ignition coils or candles, but why it runs for days is rather a mystery to me. Errors are not stored, there is no emergency run, full throttle is just as feasible as sliding with 180…., whether on gas, or gasoline. So I need a recommendation for a simple reading about OBD on Android and case`s Someone has an idea for the error…please get it. Running power is 115000, Mj. 12, so far completely stress-free… Warranty is available There are motor, ignition system, fuel supply, ECUs included…..I have an interest in getting to the bottom of the matter.. 😉 Who can help? Hello together , Drive at the moment still a 5er Touring , but to succeed from August the XC 60 is a hot successor candidate . Since I have little experience at Volvo , following questions to the community ( yes have tried the search before, but not all meetings were helpful ) When will the successor to the current model be expected to be at the dealer ? My wish candidate would be a D4 with 8-speed machine with front drive . Certainly there are sufficient experience values to this combination . What do you think are indispensable features? I would like to choose 20′ rims for optical reasons. Is this too hard in connection with the normal chassis, or still ok? Or do you have to choose the adaptive suspension then? Unfortunately, so far only had the possibility to test a vehicle with 17′ winter tyres…. I am a big fan of reasonable sound in the car. The ‘normal’ sound system didn’t hit me off the stool. Is Premium Sound much better? Which solutions do you have? r so chosen (Subwoofer : yes/no) My dealer said the improvement in the sound would not really be there, but had no vehicle with premium sound to listen to. Servus together, today tomorrow something “interesting” happened to me. I drove to change tyres. We agreed that I would wait for the change and then take the car with me. After 20 minutes he came to me and said there was a big problem. I thought: well, probably the brakes have to be replaced, or there is some lack. Then the master continues: An apprentice has your car damaged- bumper, headlights, fenders have to be replaced. I ha I was looking at the car and in fact everything was damaged. Supposedly the apprentice slipped the clutch and and he kicked my car in the hall against the lifting platform column. Well-shit happens I thought originally – I get everything repaired anyway + next customer service for free. I also rented my car until the repair runs – so everything was fine. Later, however, I thought about everything again. I paid the car in cash, so a lot of money, and had to drive it for a while. But the real problem is, I can’t sell it as accident-free afterwards – there’s a certain reduction in value. I’m aware that something like this can happen, and I have nothing against the workshop. We already know ourselves (3 Volvos I’m talking about there), and otherwise I’m generally satisfied. But now I don’t know how to proceed. What would it be appropriate to demand compensation from them. I’m not quite sure myself. I’m looking forward to every one of them. Tip

Quick question in the round: I just wanted to transfer some CD/DVD to the hard disk. After instructions you should go to HDD in the main folder and then with OK you can select the files and save them. I only get to HDD, after that it goes no further. Is there a trick? Greeting

Hello, my V70 now goes back to the dealer after almost 3 years from the leasing and is replaced by one of the last XC70. What I always missed in the past was a rear-view camera. Now I would like to treat it 🙂 Question: Is the camera worth it or is it, like with our V40, so dirty that you can’t see anything. What can the part with installation cost max.? Thank you.

Dear people, I really need your help. Short history: Yesterday I parked my S60 MY11 D3 163PS GT SUMMUM as usual in front of our house without any signs of anything bad. This morning I go into the car, brake – start button > engine starts to org after about 1 second (he never else) and at once warning sign SRS Airbag maintenance required. Okay engine off, maybe it was the software. Start button > nothing happens. engine does not make a sound, starter dr But you can hear a little bit of the engine room (perhaps petrol pump) … no matter. Then tens of thousands of error messages in the display. – first engine system maintenance required – then DSTC temporarily deactive. – then parking help maintenance required. There are then second more vehicle notifications. So again out, locked up, waited. After 2 hours again tried, but again the same grieving game. I’m pretty worried now, because that really doesn’t sound good. Did you vi Maybe an idea? My guesses are going towards dead battery or marten damage? … After the lunch break the call is made.
