  • Volvo 850 rear wiper does not turn back

    My good old 850 has a problem with his rear wiper motor: At first one day the rear wiper was suddenly too far distracted and was stuck over the license plate (no idea how this happened). I removed the wiper and after the shaft did not move without an arm, I removed the mechanics in the boot flap and separated them from the wiper motor, with the following result: – The engine turns, solved from the mechanics, only in a a direction (in continuous or even interval operation) – On the plug there are constant 12V on both poles compared to the mass – If I attach the wiper mechanism again to the motor shaft, it turns of course once to the stop and then clicks only stupid Actually it would have to turn again in the other direction after that, right? In the meantime I ordered and installed a tested used engine in the bay, but the problem remains . Now I am unfortunately finished with my Latin. Who can help? Thank you!

    Moin people, and I have a problem. Had already contacted Scuty, but so far I have not come to any result. Engine: B5252S EZ: 17.10.1995 Gearbox: M56 Although I have the following problem, the car starts cold without any problems, provided that the operating temperature is reached, and you want to drive off swallows the machine and threatens to go out (not really great). After a while the engine can be started again as if nothing had been, and d then runs without murmuring. But if you turn it off again, and want to go back, then the machine refuses to start. It would be important to mention that it smells of rotten eggs sometimes, and during the start process the speed of the starter completely sinks at short notice as if a resistance hinders the start process.

    Hello guys, the topic has been discussed many times, yet I am unsure. My V70 2.5 TDI (103KW/140PS) is from 1999, and now has 428,000KM down. I bought it in February 2013 with 403,000KM, without a service booklet or workshop history. (Was an export dealer….) The automatic transmission switches with a very light jerk, under load or with trailer of course a little harder. The transmission oil is not black and mushy, but deer brown and almost transparent. At least far from red, as it should be…. Is it worth changing the gear oil? If so, which Dexron III should be taken, or does the manufacturer not care? To me: I screw his own 20 years, therefore I have no concerns in terms of work. Workshop with lifting platform is available. I would flush the gear with 10-15 liters. So top pipe on the oil cooler, and run in the stand. Pump out or replenish in 3 liter steps until it is clear r pumping out What do you think? Greetings Stephan

    Moin together, had already tortured the search, but I have not yet found the right answer. Here I have a 96 V70, i.e. one of the first. Engine control burns (which with the Lambda symbol). The car has between the seats in the armrest under a cover labeled with OBDII, a socket that looks like an OBDII socket, but black and apparently different. With my BT OBDII stick and Torque the stick gets electricity. LED and Torque, sons t is not found. So far I have been able to get there everywhere, as far as pure OBDII is concerned. Now I have read that the motor control unit is on PIN3 instead of PIN7. If I now make the connection stick socket with cable bridges between PIN 4/5, 16 and pull from PIN3 socket on PIN7 stick. do I get it then? I have found this further, but there is not explicitly the V70, but the 850, 940 and 960. Can I just try it all or run danger, because what abz I also have a KKL-Interface Autodia K509 and Carport, which is actually for VAG, but should be irrelevant for OBDII. Maybe you can use it to conjure up something I’m very confused, can someone please enlighten me? Thanks already. mfg

  • Smaller cruise problem (V70 I, BJ 2000)

I’ve already tried to find out a lot about pressure hoses, etc., but as I understand it now, the cruise control works with my Volvo electric (BJ 2000, V70 Type I), right? I’ve been having a little problem for some time now, but it’s still there. And that’s what the flip switch works to increase and reduce the set cruise speed. rn can, only in the direction of “highen” … I lazy Sau drove until then on the highway only by wiping switch, which was to speed up and brake off, which was of course very convenient. Now I can only give gas, which the oil industry is happy, but not in the sense of the inventor. I suspect of course a smaller cable problem inside the turn signal lever, but I have not yet quite figured out whether and how I can “open”. ch right, or can it be that I can extend the whole steering wheel for this and then also beat myself with the airbag?   • Noise and vibration in the clutch pedal

    Moin moin, in advance the mandatory information about my vehicle: Volvo V50 Engine: 2.0D BJ: 2006 KM: 190.000 Since my last ride I can observe the following: I have no gear inside and do not kick the clutch pedal: everything is fine. If I start to press the pedal a little bit I hear a noise after a few mm clutch pedal path as if something rubs together (not loud, but already perceptible). I push it further through it goes away, but I get light vibrations in the pedal. W I have virbations and also a changed noise, that I can not really describe.The gears switch cleanly through and when I drive on the highway comfortably in the 6th gear in front of me, then everything is as always. No increased consumption, no exiting gears, no smell, no whistling, no nothing. I mention the last things, since I have of course already tried google and motor talk myself. Spontaneously I would have been on stage. klager and/or ZMS typed, but since I am layman and the symptoms somehow only partly fit the parts I addressed, I wanted to ask here.   • Differential pressure sensor or not? – 1.6D is bumpy

    Hello everybody! short history: At the beginning of the year the box is already like a goat “ridden”; so new DPF pure. When everything went a long time well until last (2 weeks), it has bucked again, although much less. the symptoms: – only bucks when it is cold (we have here just 15-16°C early) – massively only shortly before regeneration – after regeneration after “daslaune” and clearly less to not at all – always around the 2000RPM – feels like short-term “breath standstill” respectively. “mortorbrake” “full cannon” for fractions of a second – error memory doesn’t give anything How did I get on the suspected differential pressure sensor? -> I read a lot about the week. However, it was difficult to find anything clever about these concrete symptoms because in fact every forum side-war scenes were opened and the threadstarters never reported again. But the pressure sensor somehow crystallized out. So! To them spezialists ode r possible “victims” of the differential pressure sensor: fits my suspicion or is something quite different?   • Question catalog Diesel problems/DPF?

    Hello Feels here once a week a DPF plagued person opens up and describes his problem. Then about 5-7 questions follow, until the situation is clear, always the same. Does it possibly make sense to design a small question catalog in order to find the basics clearly in the first post? In about: MY and motor (1,6/2.0) mileage: DPF exchanged (when)? DDS exchanged (when)? hoses tested/changed? additive always filled? current status? error memory (if read out) I am rather a “B” enziner”, therefore the request to the “Diesel” for comment and addition as well as to everyone for one opinion. Edit thinks that the question about the route profile (short distance?) must not be missing.

    Hello all, my V50 year 2006, 1.6 Diesel no longer starts. On the display appears “Read the immobilizer manual”. Ignition on but he doesn’t even work. Who can tell me anything about it???

  • AUX/USB/SD adapter

    Moin, are you also such an absolute anti-radio person like me?? Then you surely know the problem of always having thousands of CD ́s flying around in the car… I’ve been looking for a decent box for a long time, where I can connect my phone to it, or at least let music play via a USB stick. Who made himself smart there, should definitely know the “Grom Box”, however, with the (at that time still) good 300€ more to Buche a Is a lumberjack Another alternative would be these “FM-transformers”…but I’ve only heard about this so far.
