  • does not inject and has no spark

Hello, I have been the proud owner of a 850 T5 from 96 for about a week.At the moment I am making it nice again… rust away, engine compartment free of oil, vacuum hoses renew, rust away, a few parts repaint, etc. Now I wanted to start the engine and unfortunately have to find out that it has no sparks of ignition or fuel injection. The petrol pump relay works and in the injection strip comes also strong liquid. h… that was the problem with my vacuum cleaner. Ignition is new except for the ignition coil (everything from the previous owner). Furthermore, I checked all fuses… unfortunately no defect. Can’t turn it off, because it doesn’t have the flashbox like my vacuum cleaner bj.92 and my OBD2 plug doesn’t want to connect to the moose. Does anyone have an idea or a solution of how to turn it off without driving it on the trailer to the friendly one? Or does someone have an idea on w Since I’m already there… how do I get the control unit with the metal tape over it? My suction cup has two hexagon screws… In addition, I found a kind of vacuum box on the gearbox, with three connections on it and a rubber part with two holes in it to screw it on somewhere. Where does the part belong? have not found any room for it yet.

  • V60: Wind noise on driver A pillar

Hello, I am very satisfied with my Volvo V60 D5 MT (MJ 2013). However, there are still the wind noises in the area of the A-pillar, which increase noticeably from 140 km/h. Especially on the driver side this is noticeable. From the feeling it is as if the window was a little bit open, but of course not the case. My dealer thinks that he is not aware of this problem or any countermeasures in the area of the door/window rubbers, but if I have the feeling If the noise is not normal, the workshop could look at it. At 160 km/h wind noises from the exterior mirrors are normal. I have already tried to search for the forum, but I can only find entries from 2011. There must have been changes to the exterior mirrors, but they allegedly went into series production since MJ 2012. So the question is whether these sounds are normal or not. If I put the car in the workshop, I need a replacement car, because so the question to all V60 owners: – Do you have these wind noises in the described form too? – If yes: Has anyone already had countermeasures carried out in the workshop, and were they successful? Thank you for any information! VG Moon

  • Climate compressor in the Ars….

Day After my clutch and brakes were renewed, it was found during the climate cleaning that the climate compressor is gone, the liquid was probably running out of there. He had searched these parts out to see what was coming on you. This climate compressor Ninssens 89350 (303.01.97) probably costs more than 600€, plus the NRF capacitor 35884 (303.04.48) with 265€ Now I found these parts cheaper, it would have to be the parts if I didn’t miss anything.http://www.auto teil-teufel.de/…/?vehicleId=32854 or even cheaper herehttp://www.amazon.de/…/B00DZMTRPOhttp://www.autoersatzteile.de/2389125-nrf So it has to be done before the summer, either I send him this link or I have to get it and he installs it. Or what do you mean ?

  • Engine system maintenance required

Hello together I have now registered here in the forum because I already have sleepless nights because of my XC60 model: XC60 2,0 edrive Bj2011 model year 2012, have still warranty until 28.09.13 had the annual customer service in Volvo specialist workshop 2 years with Km stand 33000 and software update on 31.08.13 then I drove about 180 km and stopped at an event. The evening after the event when driving back came after about 1km the message “Motor system maintenance required On 01.09.13 in the morning message checked, no vehicle report available. At noon after approx. 25 km drive came again the message “motor system maintenance required”. on 02.09.13 workshop called, the friendly lady advised me to call the Vovo Assistance. I did and after an hour was also friendly staff there, in the presence of my wife he has read out the error memory but no My wife at lunch time in the Volvo workshop who then read out the error memory, all levels and there was a message available, error in level 2 “ECM-P029900” . Man has now deleted the error memory and looked through the car and found nothing. In addition, the oil indicator has been adjusted, as this after the customer service and the approx. 300km driven track only 2/4 in the electronic After the last oil change it indicated 4/4 with this filling quantity. Then woman with car drove home again the 30 km and put the car in the garage where it stood until 06.09.13. On 06.09.13 my wife then went to work and see there the message came after approx. 7 km again. On Friday and Saturday the message was once there and sometimes not there. On Friday then still with the measuring rod indicated now 3/4. On Monday 09.09.13 I get a car rental for 3 days. Besides that, the display of the oil stand was only 2/4. I have the feeling that maybe not the complete 5,9ltr have been filled in. In theory, it can actually only be a contact problem or a hose mounting problem, since various plugs and hoses are removed during the oil filter change. Can the software update be responsible for the oil display. Have the feeling that the workshops are a little overburdened with the state of the art. Let’s see what the workshop finds out for the next 3 days. Greetings Klaus

  • Volvo XC60 D5 AWD – Haldex coupling defective

Moin, I urgently need the advice of Volvo experts. I drive a Volvo XC60 D5 AWD from 4/2009 with now 88,000 km completely without any problems. The car is maintained at Volvo Checkheft. For a few weeks I hear from the rear axle boom or running noise. Only very quiet. I changed from winter to summer tires because the noises are speed-dependent, slightly unround sound and I wanted to exclude sawtooth. The noise remained. I measured the track read The sound was now loud and mechanical within a few days. I drove to my Volvo dealer yesterday. Test drive: first diagnosis wheel bearing defective. In the evening the master called me and said the problem is a defective Haldex coupling. The repair, or rather the replacement, is not repaired at Volvo, should cost 10,500 €!!! Alone 9,500 € the Haldex part. Thus the car would be an economic total damage. Has someone also had this problem and Experience? What or how can Haldex be repaired? Does anyone know a gear or Haldex specialist in the area around Hamburg/North Germany? I have just read that Landrover has installed identical Haldex 4. I am quite eaten up and grateful for every tip.

Hello friends, this can’t be normal. My driver’s seat tilts – the backrest has game. Extremely you can notice it at a traffic light or short standstill. Brake, stop – it jerks the backrest. Driving – it jerks again…. my dealer thinks it would be normal at the XC60 is clear, no other XC60 had yet to test, or at the vehicle collection no time to verify against another XC60. Could you please check it out. Put in the driver’s seat, re. Arm to the rear, to the Leh Is an XC60 MJ15 with RD Thanks Benton

  • Change the drive shaft completely left to the right.

MOIN, there I have the Swedes and now the drive shafts are down. On the left the ball basket is completely broken, on the left the shaft is already out. But the basket on the left is still in the gearbox. How can I get it out? Does the transmission oil run out? And how can I get the right one out? That’s miserable long… is it pressed in or can you pull it somehow? I want to do it myself, but I’m used to driving shafts screwed by Audi. So if someone could tell me how it goes, would it be I am very grateful. MfG from Hannover

  • Continue despite torn belt!? V 70 D5 Built 2011 2.4D 215Ps

Hello everyone (unknown, but appreciated)! I would like to exchange views with you regarding a conflict with my workshop and repair costs of 2000 euros. My Swede is from year 2011 and it was with him about four weeks ago at a mileage of 192,000km by my workshop (actually the workshop of my trust so far) a damage to the cylinder head seal (water loss/temperature indicator). Doubts on my part and the conflict (Rech The following reason arose: about four weeks before the first engine problems in my Swedes the belt was torn. God-sei-thanks almost on the front door and immediately was determined by me. The next day I brought the Swedes to the workshop, which is practically only about 500m away. The master then looked at this and plucked out the torn belt. But what happened then, I can’t go after it. He has informed me that he is driving the vehicle to his other workshop, because he wants to repair it there, means 25km of driving including highway and city traffic. Both my father and I have expressed the greatest concerns about driving the Swedes over such a distance in this picture of damage. The master explained, “No problem, the V-belt i The D5 is equipped with V-belts, V-belts and timing belts. Unfortunately, I still have considerable doubts as to whether it is not precisely because the master has driven up to his workshop, which is 25km away, despite torn V-belts, that the damage could have been caused (perhaps due to remnants of the V-belt that are not in the timing belts, but possibly in the rippers). I’m currently considering turning on the car schematic to clarify this, and I’d be very pleased if you could write me your assessment and your opinion on it! Greetings from NRW joe76

  • V70 III with loss of performance

After we didn’t have a good start with our V70, but he hasn’t let us down so far, we now have a bigger problem. Two days before, some oil smell in the interior. Engine light on as well as power loss. In the engine compartment, we could see oil at first sight on a socket of the “off/intake/air bridge” as well as a loose cable. At the friendly one, the stub was glued there was this hood and the cable attached. Car picked up and at the second start again Motorleu This time he drives downhill around the 120/130 uphill he has hardly any power before it maximum 100km/h When starting at all no problems. With cold car about 10-15km full power Now the friendly one thinks that it would be the AGR valve however he could give no guarantee for whether it really is. So on good luck exchange… What do you think?
