Even with an older golf there was the possibility to close the sliding/kipp roof when closing it. V50 climate condenser change itself
Hello, I have read many reports here on the topic of defective climate capacitors. Since my V50 has now also been caught, and I have no desire to transfer about 900 € to the Volvo workshop for repair I would like to change the capacitor myself. I can get the capacitor from Hella for almost 100 € and the filling of the system takes over a colleague of the privately run as a side trade a small workshop and has a climate maintenance device. For filling he wants 50 € and I want to have I think that I can get my climate back to work for a small amount of money. But can someone tell me how expensive this is to replace the capacitor? Roof rubber torn
Hello, unfortunately, after many days of research I found no comparable case in various forums. Also my current Volvo dealer in Stuttgart could not report about this. Overnight I had a small crack in the outside roof seal on the front roof segment. Can happen – I thought. Since the seals are not available single at my model year (EZ02/2008), I would have to order the package from all three seals for the left side (400,- And in order to avoid deformations on the roof, all seals on the right side are to be exchanged in case of accident! Cost estimate according to Volvo: 2 x 400,- + wages, approx. 1200,- €. Since I already had side panes adjusted this year, new climate capacitor installed, four new summer tires as well as TÜV + large inspection had to be made, I am looking for a small solution. And since water does not penetrate into the interior, I was recommended by Volvo to seal the saddle. It’s about 25,- €. Now my question: Has anyone been able to gain experience, whether and how long does something like that last? Or has someone had the same case already. Is there a better price for these seals? S60 MY14, one brake warmer than any other
Hello municipality! During the last weeks I noticed a whistling/quitches/twishers after a few kilometers of driving. I could not assign it for a long time, only so about that it comes from the left was clear. V70 III D5 Service intervals – what is mandatory?

By the way, my Volvo workshop thinks – the only difference is the interior filter and oil filter. Otherwise there would be nothing. Well, I have read in the meantime that For example, the rib belt + tensioner has to be changed at 90,000 (which has happened twice, by the way). What’s the matter? Volvo in Ford workshop
Hello what do you think about it? At my V 50, the driver cylinder of the clutch no longer did its work. Was towed to my Volvowekstatt. But after 6 days the moose was not finished (mounteins on vacation and sick reports). Only the troubleshooting was done on the first day. Had a car from the assistance for 6 days. The workshop submitted an application for extension but was refused. I was then informed that the Volvo was to be given to partner operation (Ford We kstatt) with the reason the clutch is the same place of construction and they have time. On the 14 day the V 50 was finished and for the coronation I should then pay the rental car for 8 days, which I successfully refused.
