  • Ventilation smells musty, only in climate… where can (could) water stand?

My Swede had little water damage last year despite the maintenance of the screwdriver. The drain on the driver’s side was tight and thus the wiper motor with control shot up. So far so bad.. Was there a climate service anyway, because I had always had a slightly muffy smell before, when the climate was on for a while. (2-3 min). I guess there was water in the ventilation for the time but where? Now that was a while ago and I drove less often, I I was rarely disturbed but I wasn’t really happy. Now I took more time and checked whether the filter is already over or even wet. And what do I look like cancers in the passenger room and out/installation?=> Bone dry the part and from Oct 2019 Lt labeling … that’s not it. So I ask myself, where are the condensate drains.. if necessary, are they tight? (Because also forgot(?) to clean? Or is there still water or a mold in a hose? Massive flowed through n didn’t help so far. Does jmd have an idea where you could still look? (Think about taking the cover under the hood at the wipers and checking the hoses..)

  • When does the size of the USB stick work?

According to VCG, only USB sticks with max. 8 GB are recommended for the V60. For larger ones, it may be that the data is not read or not read completely. I already read about such problems here. However, there are obviously also some users who use 64 GB sticks or even larger HDDs and have no problems with them. My question: has anyone found out by now whether it is due to the brand of the stick or a certain type that larger USBs work? Would you like to use a I don’t want to buy it to find out that it’s not running reliably. (I know it’s supposed to work with the ipod, but it’s quite expensive with 200 € – I’d get some 64 GB USB sticks for it – and one would be enough for me) 2. I read that all the titles are played in random order in the folders – namely in the arbitrary order in which Windows copies – very fun with live CDs or audiobooks 🙂 (and also ansons Some users reported about programs like Drive Sort that clean up the chaos. Can someone send me a link to download? – I only find English versions and I don’t know if I can get that. Thank you.

  • Volvo V50 Watermark Aux Bluetooth Adapter .. where 12v?

Hello I have ordered for my Volvo the:https://www.amazon.de/…/B07C7R5TT1 adapter. This comes behind the changer and has to be supplied seperately with 12v. And this is my problem now. Where can I turn 12v off properly? The cable from the cigarette lighter at the front in the center console is unfortunately so short that I can’t make a bad noise. It doesn’t even stand out of the console. Is there a switched 12v cable on the green plug? äne for the V50? Demand: Can I put the car on ignition to measure even though the plugs are removed from the display and waterfall? Have a bit of a bammel. Or doesn’t the electronics like it?

  • Volvo V50 2.0D – Engine system maintenance required

Hello together, for almost a month I am the owner of a V50 2.0D and so far very satisfied. TÜV and inspection were made new when purchased and all liquids were exchanged by the dealer. Due to problems even fss control unit for the airbag was replaced. All around I am so far very satisfied. 140,000km the moose has run. Now I drove by car on holiday (Croatia, 1200km). At the second refuelling the information light with the well-known message ” Engine system maintenance required. I drove from there even further to Croatia (300km) without abnormalities. No power loss, no oil dilution recognizable. The turbo works as always. Would assume that the workshop has not forgotten the level of the additive, but has refilled it. The message occurred directly after the tanking and since then remains at each start…. Can you drive even further or do I have to go as soon as possible? Had the previous engine system maintenance required. n tankstop only filled 10 liters, if this has any effect? MfG Nyrass

  • Consulting Volvo S40 2.4

Moinsen Dear community, I was looking at a Volvo s40 at the weekend. https://suchen.mobile.de/…/details.html?… I hope that’s in order with the link. He drove well, maintained the checkbook and fits the equipment. The last years I had learned about my then company a Volvo v70 ( Diesel D5) and just loved Volvo. I can’t and don’t want to miss out on a Volvo anymore. At that time we took 200 000 km without any problems and there my feeling says yes to the Volvo S40, only I wanted to have the opinion of the subject once.

  • Purchase advice Volvo S80 2.5T FlexiFuel

Hello, to the foreword: I’m new here as it is easy to see. I’m currently driving a Seat Leon, but I’d like to switch to Volvo. I found a Volvo S80ll now. Dates: 79000 Km. Equipment MOMENTUM To cost 13250€. The vehicle sounded good, which makes me skeptical now. The dealer wants to do now TÜV and inspection only unfortunately he goes on holiday from tomorrow. That means I should sign a purchase contract in advance and this morning p But if the car gets out of the holiday again on September 14th. Until then my right of recall has expired? What still seems funny to me, the workshop sent me pictures of the service booklet. The service booklet was made in Swedish and up to 57000 km were two inspections and all this in Swedish workshops. The workshop did not even enter the vehicle number, but only mileage, stamps and only at the second inspection. a date was entered. From 2014 a German Volvo car dealership made an inspection and also completed everything properly. In the vehicle letter two owners are registered, once the German car dealership and a private owner. The workshop where I buy the car has no plan. I am at the moment totally confused. On the one hand, it is a good car for little money. On the other hand, the vehicle history makes me skeptical. Can you give me advice? Thank you in advance.

Hi, I just came from the gas station. My Volvo V60 D3 has a residual range of 25km, then only “—” and a red line at the level indicator. I am still about 10km dangerous, so should be really very empty. I have refueled until the first shutdown, then 10sec waited, then again until the shutdown. The column then showed me 74,5l. That can never be right? Tank volume according to Volvo 67l.
