Hello moose community, I’ve had my first Volvo, XC60 MY2016 for 14 days and have my questions. The pairing with the Iphone 6 worked well but the connection to the Internet doesn’t work. I made the following Internet connection via Bluetooth then selected the Iphone, he then searches, but the Bluetooth remains grey. Must be set somewhere else. Have the Sensus HP without VOC The second question would be, where is the difference between color and contrast modu s in the speedometer unit. At first glance there is no big difference to be seen or ? and thirdly the question with the servo support light – is now light support or light power steering meant? and the last question for the moment, can one program the seat adjustment e.g. the 1 on one key and the 2 on the other key? Thank you already for the help, because the BA is not very helpful

News from the 550th km D5 patient is dead sick…
I had already reported several times about this 2009 D5 with Heico Chip in the Netherlands. Key data: S80 D5 Heico, EZ 2009, a T8 with 185 hp + chip = 205 hp, Geartronic. Black Met., Summum + Inspraption, almost everything that the price list gave, except GSD and seat ventilation. Total powertrain with currently 550t km still original. At 533t km strong blows from the gearbox, specifically when switching down from 3 to 2 and 2 to 1. transmission oil change and software update – problem deutl This is where I drove the car for the first time. Engine, interior equipment and cell in sensationally good condition in view of the mileage. At just under 540t km the timing belt kit No.4 was installed in this car. Change climate compressor and condensator as well as parking sensor at the rear right. The first really expensive reaperature on this car. 550t km: cylinder head seal defective! h ends here the story of the S80, my colleague wanted to buy a S60 D5 annual car (100t km, so new…) but…… …..then I showed him the photos of the new 2016 S90 on Facebook! He absolutely wants to have it! Now he is just calculating what would have to be invested in his S80 in order to drive it for another 18 months or 50 – 70t km. My tip: does he…. I will then report!

Delete Bluetooth device
Have the original Bluetooth in it. During the last longer ride with a friend he has connected his iPhone times so for fun with my car – by the way worked perfectly Now of course his iPhone appears in the list of devices and I can’t remove it. Apparently this only works when the device is connected. Otherwise the Bluetooth option is not selectable in the menu. That’s no problem now, because he lives nearby – BUT I wonder of course if you can’t delete a device ka nn if it’s not connected. That can’t actually be. A device can give up the mind or be stolen – what do you do then? Thanks for the tips

V70 III: Distance radar available or not?
Hello guys, I have an offer for a used one, V70 MJ2011, allegedly with ACC (Tempomat with distance radar). At the air intake is also the plastic cover, which should be closed on a radar, but on the steering wheel are only the keys for the normal cruise control. Was this car somehow retrofitted or spatted (because ACC was not so great?), or was the car at the time really with radar, but without ACC (so only with accident warning etc.)? The console button for the distance control and the signal light of the ACC above the steering column, which should be available according to the instructions. What’s going on? Can someone steal me up?

My own experience with diesel and extreme short distance (2km)
Servus, here I would like to post my own experience, with a diesel engine, in extreme short-range operation. Should not now degenerate in a discussion, why then I prefer not to take a petrol engine, or even a vehicle at all…..! Up to 3 months ago I drove for 5 years a new XC60, D5 AWD, hand switch (Mod. 2011) with 205hp. My track profile is anything but motor-friendly for a diesel (or perhaps generally for a motor), but no matter, here the report: Every T ag 2km to work and back home, on the WE maybe 10-20km at a time, sometimes longer trips of 50-100km, but very rare, about 2x in the year holiday trips of several 100km. Driving performance in the 5 years: 47,000km In the whole 5 years only after 4.5 years, the first time the warning message for engine maintenance appeared. So to the . Oil level was too high, 0.5l sucked off and everything was again OK. It was also read out the error memory and stood here: The system wanted to say and write 480x r I had always feared that I would have to go to the workshop many times because of the oil thinning. Fortunately, this did not come true. Since November, I have had a new XC60, D4 AWD (190hp) automatic and hope to be just as happy with it. VG, Pelze

Air conditioning: change condansator + dryer
With my V70 (MJ00, petrol) the air conditioning (automatic) has been broken for > 1 year now. Would like to change that. Climate ran during the purchase, also permanently, climate compressor is quite new (2018), when switching on the clutch does not attract (no clapping grainable) and under UV light a leak on the capacitor connection is to be seen. -> I therefore assume that it is only empty, due to the leak. I would exchange now: capacitor and dryer are both still original parts, exchange seems nic It’s so complicated and if I understand it correctly, I should change the dryer bottle anyway, if the plant was empty for so long. What else do I need of parts (in brackets the number from the sketch): So far so good. Or is there something missing? What more questions I have about: Thank you and greetings! Felix

S60 has start difficulties or stutters short
Hello to all Volvo drivers, I recently bought a S60 2.4L BJ. 2001. I’m actually completely satisfied with the Volvo. But I’ve been having a small start problem for a few weeks now. Vlt. knows someone the problem and someone can help me from you. If the car has stood for at least 10 hours and I then start the engine and the speed commutes up and then goes very far down. Sometimes the car goes out, he catches himself again. When I give gas stutter After 20sec. everything is fine and the car is running. I can’t detect any logic when the stuttering occurs. AIt has already occurred when it was still warm, in the underground garage, outside when it is cold (-15°C), when it is dry or when it is raining. But as I said, not always. Sometimes there is no more than 2 weeks. I have been looking for the forum and actually only found a throttle problem. If I have a problem with the throttles, I have a problem. This is permanent and not only at the start. Does anyone have a clue and can help me further? Thank you for your efforts…… Michael

Car taxes XC90 / SUVs from 2005 ??
Hi ! One reads and hears again and again a lot about the increase of the car tax in the next year, for SUVs etc. How far does that concern the XC90 D5. Do I agree in the assumption that the one is still taxed at about 370€ annually? Link to the topic in general: http://www.autobild.de/money/tax/article.php?article_id=7395 What key numbers does the vehicle have: for 30, 31, 44, 47, 67, 69 it would be about 370€ Gruss

Again: Question about Stabi + coupling rods
Hello all, I have a little bit of worries with my little flicker. It seems to me to be very windy on the side, moreover it dangles after every splint and tilts on uneven road to move. Facts: s80 MY2000, approx. 330 Tkm, FWD “normal” 215/55R16 (Conti Premium Contact) What I have already found out myself: – shock absorbers are not (Testtsnad 2 weeks ago) – track is OK (freshly measured) – “very obvious” defects could neither the nor a friend’s screwdriver see 20 tkm old I know that the first quick shot is the Stabi coupling rods – especially since I had to change one in the last 250 tkm !! What I ask myself … 1. Can also the “real” Stabis (so not the coupling rods) be covered, especially so that you can not see it at first sight? 2. What makes more sense – everything at once (all Stabis and all coupling rods) and hope that then finally some longer time is quiet, or first start small (with the coupling rods) and then, if necessary, continue with the Stabis, if that didn’t help? Thank you for your help. Andreas

D5 The Trooeööt for moose drivers
Moin all together I intend to disassemble the D5 here from numerous Volvos. Not really, but virtual. If you would also bring in your experiences and knowledge, not only would I be very grateful to you, but I also think many of the other fuel oil owners. I consider the D5 from Volvo to be a solid and robust companion, who, however, seems to me here and there, sometimes still has one or the other Macke in it. That’s what this is all about. I myself will try to make this Trooeöt as colourful as possible here, and will post numerous pictures and reports about the upcoming repair here. (should it come to this) Briefly to my project: Have to fight since the purchase of my elk with an engine hammer and an enormous inertia. When all research and the change of the hydros did not succeed, I simply measured the compression. Wei follows: cylinder 1-5 have a compression ratio of e twa 13/1. I do not think this is enough for a diesel. Especially since the manual specifies a compression of 17/1 for the D5. Now I ask you for advice and or help volvol
