tja, recently an offer fluttered from the volvo-haendler pure – 750 euronen incl. installation. the one-time tax saving is 330 euro, added 1.20 per beginning 100 cubic centimeters per year, which you have to use without filter coming april as impact plates. that is 28.80 euro each for the d5, which for the next four years become weak = 115.20 euro. for 304,80 teuro (plus interest =;^) ) one gets thus a green plaque, with which one does not the next driving bans to f a cleaner oeko-knowing and probably a somewhat higher selling value, when it is time for some time. what do you think: does that pay off?

Trouble with the auxiliary heating in the V 70
Moin, wanted to make some of my trouble air. I already had to invest twice this year in my stand heating. I own a V70 EZ 02. In January 06 the wheel which distributes the diesel in the combustion chamber has dissolved from the drive or axle (hope you know what I mean). Since it was not a defect on one part, much it did not under the guarantee 🙁 approx. 380 EUR costs (as among other things the whole bumper etc. must be dismantled first. After this repair the heater was running with good smoke development 😉 until March / April ́06. So again in the workshop. Everything was disassembled until the heater was reached and now the injection nozzle was defective. At the first moment I was still happy, now there was a defect in one part. Unfortunately the joy was only of short duration, because at once the heater was not included in the used car warranty at all. The master apologized for the first “wrong statement” and promised to train the contents of the guarantee again. Great and I was presented this time with an invoice of 560 EUR 🙁 Now soon the time of the SH starts again and I hope to find a well-warmed car without further costs in the morning. Hello, through an article in MT I have just stumbled over the homepage of a free Volvo importer, who boasts to bring his cars directly from Sweden. Test drive XC70 impossible?
Tach, too, visited the responsible Volvo dealer in search of a new company car. After test drives with MMI and iDrive and ambient lighting etc. I was somehow after a little more “down-to-earth rustic” (hope nobody is too close here 😉 and the look immediately stuck to an XC70 in electric silver (?). Unfortunately was only a customer car and therefore I could only look in for a short time. Other XC70 does not have the dealer. Although the seller I much prefer I would have sold an XC90 or at least V70 and managed to get him some information about the edition package and convince him to search for demonstration cars. Since then, about three weeks have passed. Result: Even after allegedly consulting with some dealer associations and regional representatives, I can’t be offered a test drive in the Rhine-Neckar triangle. Is this normal? Is Volvo expected to order a car like this without a test drive?

V8 – an amazing sound!
As you can already see on the topic, I am a motor sound fetishist. Nothing electrifies me more than a crazy motor sound. Here, at the moment, the V8 is absolutely at the top – no BMW, no Daimler, no Audi (although I was even allowed to hear the new RS6 today) gets to this V8 sound of the XC90. Now I ordered the XC90 MY06 in February and get it on 10.11., but for reason (the OHL has veto right) it became a D5. But at the dealer I was allowed once a V8 heard and was totally enthusiastic. Now my question – how to take it, maybe also a request: does someone have a V8 recording in digital or knows where to retrieve one? Or (now it could be a request) someone has a V8 and a digital recording device..? The OHL stands there and smiles mildly, she is glad that she has not only three daughters but also a small boy from time to time… 🙂 But wat mutt dat. Or?

I’m back
… I, my OHL (What the hell does that actually mean?) and the new V70 have survived the trip to Italy unharmed and rested. After that we were at home for another week and are now full of stress. In the one week there was the obligatory visit to Ruuten in Venlo. Heating, belt alarm, tank cover and afterblow for 110 euros. Encouraged to answer the question from this Fred:Pizza/Felge The Pizza Capriciosa de due Adulti had a diameter of almost 70 Zen Timer. Covered with Cabrese Salami, Parma ham, shrimp, tuna, buffalo mozarela and similar delicacies, it costs a proud 18 Euro, but that was worth the fun. They only looked stupid when I measured the pizza.. Of course there is no photo, after all I can not put the part up to the rim.

XC 90 tire / suspension problems
Hello together, from the beginning I now have XC90. Meanwhile the 2nd with approx. 60TKM per year. In both I had constant problems with unevenly driven front tyres. The last was the measurement and hiring even free of charge and the dealer took part in the new tires. The outer tyre edges had always run off. At the “end” this can be done within less than 100 kilometers. After the last adjustment action everything was great, until just a few weeks ago the tire insides suddenly went off. On both front tires evenly. (As always) Either I have so great talent to dodge my front wheels absolutely evenly on the curb or Vovlo has a huge problem with the axle geometry. I also notice that the moose squeaks recently at almost every exit, although I do not exaggerate it. Aucg when ranking in the underground garage, he pushes over the front wheels quite violently (quiets) at full impact. (The recalla) Yes, I drive quite fast on the highway (BC cut 9.3 liters, which I don’t think is bad), but I think the XC is built for it and should endure that. I have never had such stress with tires before. How is that with you ?
