Moin Frauens! Moin Mens! I have problems with the LMM! Shortly after I bought the car the engine control light jumped on (about 6 days). Diagnosis LMM, the dealer refuses to replace the part, in his opinion was not broken at the time of delivery. Search now for a used one, since cheaper and wants to take over half out of kulanz!? I cleaned the LMM just times as here in the forum often described, throttle with the same. The engine became immediately quieter, be t he regularly throws the error: mixture too thin and indeed between 50 and 60 km/h and approx. 2500U/min. Since the vehicle is converted to LPG I was of course immediately to the conversion device, but after a long search it was clear that it only occurs during petrol operation! I have now removed the LMM and cleaned again, in order to delete the control light (error is stored!?) then the battery is removed. And I drove the last 150Km only on petrol, because the petrol injection system yes a The LMM is from Denso with the number 1275636 or 197400-0120. Is this also from Bosch? Does anyone have the number? The things are new at Ebay with a warranty for 70 to 120€, only not for this engine!? With the friendly one the part should cost 345€!!!!!! Or does someone drive the S/V70 2.4l 103KW Bj 99 and has a Bosch inside and could tell me the part number? Would be really grateful about tips and advice! What is broken about such a part? The sensor measures t the air flow or here probably the congestion pressure, because the two measuring wires are stuck in a kind of nozzle. Oxidize the surfaces, or what destroys it? Cheerio and a beautiful and contemplative feast!

  • Shock absorber change at the rear without stage, fixed at the bottom.

Haalo friend, just try to change my rear shock absorbers. Now I can’t get any further during the dismantling of the old ones. The things are stuck in the bottom. Upstairs everything is going on. How can I get these things down? I tried them carefully with pelvis. Grad also sprayed with WD 40. Does a quick advice?

  • “Leather” in XC90 the X-te. Warning!!!

After I had cleaned my vehicle thoroughly from the inside again today, I thought I could do good to the “leather”. Armed with my well-proven Sonax leather care, I also went to work. It was immediately noticeable that the “leather”, not like other vehicles, did not take care of the leather at all. Only under vehement rubbing could the lotion move a little into the undefined surface to be massaged. After I had been through all the seats, I started again from the front to polish the treated surfaces according to the instructions. I then saw that the leather care stripes had left on the “leather” which could not be polished out at all. I don’t know what it looks like with the “”original Volvo” “leather” care”, but before use, it was commercial. I can only warn you about leather care for leather, which probably does not seem suitable for “leather”. Perhaps the “”Original Volvo “Leather” care”” is also only a disguised artificial leather surrogate extract cleaner pile and therefore works better!? I have definitely drawn my consequences from it and will not do anything at the “leather”. Greeting Martin, who is now squeaking on his real leather desk chair, because the Sonax leather care was well received by the jeans.

  • Line input and hands-free for SC-805 (V70)

Another question about my “new” V70: I have no hands-free device in the car, but there is a microphone and the antenna mounted on the mirror. There is also a speaker in the passenger footroom – no idea if it belongs to the normal sound system or to a possible hands-free device. If I see this correctly, the car is prepared for a hands-free device. Can you upgrade the Volvo hands-free device cheaply or (even better) there are e.g. Bluetooth hands-free devices that can be attached to the existing antenna + the microphone? I would also like to retrofit a line-in cable (iPod connection would also be nice, but not necessarily necessary). In the V70 is a SC-805 radio, which has a CD-changer input (but a CD-changer is not connected – I don’t need it either). What possibilities are there to get a mini-klink/cinch? Thanks already for your help!

  • traction control V70 T

Hello guys, have given me a V70 2,4 T with everything possible ( used year 2001 ) The car is great. But one question remains. In order to bring the 200 hp on the road it takes a little feeling, which is not always so easy however. Despite DSTC the tires spin already once when driving on the mountain. However, I have become stunned and have given some real gas. IT DOESN’T DISCOVER. My question is does the car actually have a traction control ??????? A I actually assumed that when it comes to the equipment, or it doesn’t work. (Guarantee) Ask for lively answers. thank you Mica…

  • cheapest variant for winter tyres?

Hello, I’m about to make a decision about the winter tyres. At the moment, drive with 205/55 R16 summer tyres (Volvo 200PS). In the Volvo book it says: ‘We recommend winter tyres of the dimension 195/65 R15 , but not for vehicles with turbo engines. For these we recommend 205/55 R16. Why? Is it about speed? What should I do to save money when buying winter tyres? I drive almost no in winter. Are there different (cheaper) tire widths for my rims? Size? Can I put 195 instead of 205 on my aluminium wheels? Is it really cheaper to buy any tires on steel wheels? Is it worth investing in the cheapest manufacturers or spending twice as much money on Conti or the like? (if you drive very rarely in winter and only city and actually never during snowfall?) Thank you for your tips Greet everyone! Siko

  • V70 D2 – Compatibility to my track profile

Hello, I will soon be a two-time family father and looking for a suitable family companion. The V70 seems to me to be the perfect candidate. However, I have special ideas. For me it is important to have an efficient vehicle, whereby also driving performance should be ensured. If one considers only this circumstance, one could say that I am on the wrong brand at Volvo. However, I like the Volvo vehicles because of their above average Currently I drive an Octavia 5E Limo with 1.2 TSI GreenTec. Actually a good vehicle, but with 2 children it becomes too small (->Limo) and a switch to the Octavia Kombi is not possible, because there are a lot of small things that disturb me on the vehicle. Unfortunately, when researching the drives for the V70, only the D2/DrivE is possible for me, for above reasons. The problem is that I don’t have the classic track profile for a diesel. the fixed costs (tax + insurance) the D2 is insignificantly more expensive than my current car. However, I am concerned about the durability of the vehicle with my route profile…. Because I drive mainly short distance during the week (i.e. distances <5 km). But as well as every weekend longer distances (>90km) + at least 1x holidays per year. Annual driving performance 15-17’000 km. Now the real question: Does it make sense to switch to a D2 or do I deal with it high tprobably just problems?

  • XC60 – Tank indicator and residual kilometer wrong

Hello, have a 2015 XC60. After I once stayed lying down with empty tank, although 130km rest were displayed, but for a while the tank indicator lit up, then in the large inspection nothing was found about it I stayed there again the day before yesterday. This time still 2 strokes, 250km rest, no tank indicator. Very stupid. After that I looked, so I have refueled 65l were still 150km rest, and under driving statistics have KM times pass. Consumption also only 58l erge BEN. Something is being calculated wrong. Stupidly only that in the inspection recently nothing was found… Someone had an idea or similar experience?

  • Diesel or Beziner

We like the CX60 very well. I drove with the 163 hp diesel years ago and I liked it already. We like the space and the higher seating position. New car is not in question. Budget for a used car is max. 28,000 EUR. On various portal you get good vehicles for this (from BJ 2013). Now we are faced with the choice: the car would drive less during the week, d a it serves my wife preferably to get from A to B (shopping etc.) and if we have to go somewhere in the evening. Every 3-4 weeks a longer ride comes to my old home (150km, 150km back). On the weekend the “normal” trips would come to it. I start from 10-15 TSD km a year. Now the question: diesel or gasoline? Is it still today that diesel vehicles have to be moved “a lot” or is it enough if the engine is blown free every few days? In the case of diesel, the low consumption appeals to us. In addition, the models 160 – 215 hp speak to us. Disadvantage: Purchase price is higher. The gasoline we found only start at 245 hp and accordingly the consumption is also. In the purchase they are however again cheaper! This offer interests me, or is the price unbelievable? See here: Oh, it should be automatic! How would you decide?

  • Feedback on V60 D3 with 136 hp

Hello together I’m new here in the forum, although I’ve been on the road with Volvo since 2008. However, my V 50 D 2.0 has a motor damage and is already ready to be transported to Poland. Now I’m about to decide for a 2 year old V 60 D3 with 136 hp and 22500km on the clock. With regard to the above mentioned engine damage I’m now a burnt child. However, you can’t compare the two engines. The engine in the V 60 is a 5 cylinder and probably a Volvo own twick. The car has been driven by the lady of the service manager, EZ was 12/2013, so has already the facelift behind it and is well equipped with the momentum line + bussiness and winter package for my purposes. Is the 136 hp engine a “pulled” variant of the D3 163 hp or is it rather the other way around? Would I be pleased about your opinion. nice WE greeting Frank
