Moin together, I haven’t been in touch for some time now but I don’t forget you either. Unfortunately, my old man has a “little” woe and we are now dependent on your advice. It happened that I and Mr. Moose were together on the way to work. So far everything has been so normal. After I left the highway after a kilometer and just wanted to turn onto the road to the workplace I heard a very suspicious crack under my car. After I turned off the car and looked under the car to control it, I got the picture that I hung up here. Such a crap, broken directly. And so? I know someone who can weld it cost-effectively, so I only wonder if that’s worth it. Especially since the same pipe was welded in about 20 to 30 centimeters more than a few months ago. How much would it take to get into the car? cost an exchange when I do it myself. Do you need spare parts? I am currently dependent on the car as soon as possible, and as loud as it is not moving an inch. I thank you for your advice. Greetings to the round Marv Edit.: my mistake, the Volvo is a 850 from the year ’93, i.e. Vormopf, with the 2.5 liter 10V engine.

Volvo 850…?
Hello forum, I can get a 850 Kombi Bj.96 diesel for “a taple and an egg”. Rather, I don’t know myself, except that he has 400,000km on the clock, but has always been cared for (workshop and so…) and one year TÜV has.with a set of Winter+Summer. 400,000Km…….what is a “apple and an egg”? How does it work with the taxes…….? Thank you!

XC90 springs KW/H&R/Eibach
Hi guys, I’m looking for lowering springs for my XC90 and I found offers from KW, H&R and Eibach. Are actually all three good providers, nevertheless I would be interested in possible reviews and especially photos. Did someone install feathers of the mentioned providers? Thank you in advance! Best regards Robert P.S. Oh yes, before the big crucifixion starts here. I do not race with my XC90 and also not into the terrain. So I am interested in No comments about the sense and nonsense of lowering an SUV. My shock absorbers are brand new, so there are no other problems and no reasons why I should buy a complete suspension now. And yes, I only drive so a bowl to compensate for my height (1,72m). Thank you!

V70 1 coilover suspension (prices ?)
Hy, and again the sad topic that I have already taken up 2-3x, but now it gets serious. Since my other car is standing longer in the workshop, I was forced to do “all” ways with my flicker. So my broken back in the A, because the original NiveoSport suspension is too tight, despite new cathedral bearings and Stabi ect. So we have already spoken (written) of the opener about “thread” suspensions. Often the topic was, that with our already older V70 a KW nevertheless to t yours seems (at least where it is cheaper for the V70 II as I saw it). Of course I would also like to have installed a KW, but the prices………. That’s why I have looked at so cheap thread suspensions, http://www.ebay.at/itm/351475578540?… Some have also meant that these wouldn’t even be so bad. Well, my questions, since I’m still not sure what to take without spending crazy sums (the installation and cathedral bearings like track adjustment etc. you also have to set correctly. – What would be the cheapest prices for a KW 1 or 2 that you have found, or where do you get? – Is it really true that you can’t adjust the height of the KW at the HA? – Which favorable coilover suspension can you recommend or absolutely advise against it? Are there any other tips? I heard that I have to renew the cathedral bearings, because I have installed the original Niveomaten. Thank you ! (Möchte/must really buy) Oh yes and then there is the original Niveofahrwe. rk for sale, if you are interested in offers via PN lg Jerry

And then the whole thing goes into a black box and from there to the hot mats first. –What is this box for? And where is this sit? z the thermostat installed?! also at the back?! XC 90 when 16″ when 17″ brake system?
Hello, I have a question about the braking system in the XC90. There are at least 2 variants for the thick ship. A 16″ and a 17″ system. In some Fred I had read that all German versions should have installed the 17″ system and the 16″ system is intended for the US market and for EU countries, in which the law must already be implemented meaningfully (speed limit, etc.) Today I wanted to make my brake and see that I have a 16″ system inside (slice diameter 31 cm so 316 mm = 16″; 17″=336 mm). Although I should have actually had a 17″. But I am certainly not there. Now my question, one knows the creteria, which are the reason for a built-in 16″ or 17″ brake system? Is it dependent on the year of construction, engine or something like that? Mine is a 2.5T Bj. 12-04. mfg and thx Rob

Charging air cooler defective/ MKL lights up.
Hello together, after my MKL shines again and again (unfortunately not permanently) I have already passed through several workshops. Sometimes the Lambda probe was def., sometimes the LMM, throttle valve sensor… Before I exchange everything I wanted to be friendly. I should come by when the MKL shines. Said done. Only I was there at an unfavorable time, everything was full. I should try again in the next few days. I tried that then and again nothing. the car runs quietly and wouldn’t be particularly striking, I wouldn’t have to worry about big ones. At last I had it. After reading out the error memory was informed that the lambda probe at the upper area regulates. Why??? There could be several causes (air mass meters, false air intake, throttle valve…) To narrow it more closely one wanted to make a “pressure test”. Here came out that the LLK is defective. Therefore, the control unit can not handle the values and If I’m lucky then it was that if it doesn’t have to be checked further which is still defective. Workshop wants to have for LLK with installation ~650€. Almost 400 for LLK + working hours just under 2h. Can you get the LLK cheaper?, does anyone have a reference address for appropriate used parts? The Swedish parts dealers don’t have it at all or only org. Volvo. Does anyone have a usable copy that they don’t need. I have to repair myself. already inquired, does not go there at the LLK plastic elements are firmly attached. I already thank you about information in advance. MfG Kay

my 🙂 : Shock absorber “oily” -> change! i: ha?
Hello Volvo friends! I had my summer tires made up today and mine said that the shock absorbers are “oily” and he recommends that I change them?! He would like to look at what suspension I have (I have to confess that I don’t know that) and then let me know via Tel if they are through now and make me “if necessary” a non-binding offer. My questions now: I have no idea of shock absorbers, so what does oily mean or does that mean that they are broken? are or just want to sell something to me? And if that’s a sign of wear and tear and they have to be changed, then an orientation, how much you pay incl. installation for new ones and which are recommended for “comfort driving” (middle price class for shock absorbers)? I have already informed myself in other contributions and know that the shock absorbers are already easy up to 200Tkm, but there are always black sheep. I can’t imagine that the shock absorbers are really easy to sell. he wants to take money from me, because he really seems to be one of the good ones and I have heard only good from many so far. I thank you in advance for the answers! Bill

Connect Premium Sound System Amplifier
Hello together I have bought a Premium Sound System for my Volvo 850. Unfortunately without a harness Radio SC 801, speaker dashboard, door front and rear (unfortunately 165mm, but thanks to the many contributions already get them) and the amplifier HA 4350 4x50W, Volvo OEM 9452029. Does anyone know the pin occupancy on the amplifier? Especially the power supply (probably at the green socket) is a mystery to me. Would not like to swap plus and minus and refine the amplifier. S oweit I know the loudspeakers in the dashboard are supplied via the radio, the door loudspeakers and D-pillars loudspeakers via the amplifier. On the radio they also have a separate output. I already have the DIN cable BITTE HELFT MIR Thank you and best regards Thomas

Buy Volvo s60?
Hello together! I have had my driver’s license for over 6 years now and have always had the “happiness” to drive my parents’ car. Now it’s time to buy my own car. Since I’ve always been totally into Volvo, I’ve decided to drive the S60. After a long search, I finally found an S60 that suits me. However, I don’t know if the offer corresponds to the price/performance ratio. Here are the most important dates: Volvo S60 2.4, Limousine/Celebration Number of owners: 3 Power: 103 kW (140 hp) First registration: 2002 120,000 km The car is sapphire black metallic and has a dark grey full leather equipment. Light signs of wear can be seen outside. In other words, a small dent at the rear left door, a few small scratches at different places. In the interior the armrest is totally scratched (supposedly you cannot replace the lid, but would have to remove the complete center console). n is due at 140,000 km. So are some 100€ in the near future again. Winter tyres are not included. The price should be 650€. However, I have been able to agree with the car dealership at 600€. Do you think this price is reasonable? Or should the car dealership go down even more or meet with services? I pay cash by the way. Thank you in advance!!!
