Hello, after the warning light “Error in the motor electronics” on my 93er 850 GLT no longer went out, I was now with Volvo. There was an error with the air mass meter detected. One would first try to check the cables and contacts. If this did not lead to the problem, one would have to exchange the LMM. Cost approx. € 300,00. Now my questions: 1. Can I check the contacts myself without great technical expertise? If so, where is this part? 2. Does this estimate come about (who has ever had such a reperture in the Volvo workshop). Or should you dodge ATU or free workshops in this case – or even do it yourself? 3. Have read somewhere that the consumption is also related to the LMM. Is that true? Greetings Mathias

Turn off 850 bugs
Hello, on a given occasion ( dieverse Treads ) I would like to briefly present a so-called manual error reading (only 850er) . The control function can be triggered by pressing the button at the diagnostic output “A ” . When entering the code you press briefly and clearly on the button ( 0,2 – 5 seconds ) The immobiliser must be deactivated before and the ignition must be on ! with the pictures the pin is plugged on 2 box A ( 2 = ECU injection layer ) e ) press briefly and count the Blinkcode Example 1 – 1 – 1 means = without finding error memory empty error codes are read in the order in which you are stored, i.e. according to the FIFO principle. If the row is full (max. 7 error codes) the last stored code is cancelled if it has a lower priority than the new error code. There is of course a list of the codes, which would be too extensive to set here, I recommend either hyanes or sequence ndes Buch in deutschBand 1290 vom bucheli Verlag. there is the complete code list in it. Volvo XC70 3 Purchase advice / Problems
Hello dear ones, I’m looking for a new car right now. I have some old cars and a golf with 1.2 TSI. It has already fed a lot of money and I just want to have a reliable vehicle. After some research I thought that the XC70 is perfect for me. However, I also have some requirements: the car MUST have a heater, four-wheel drive and darker interior equipment are also mandatory. That reduces the available Fa A trailer coupling would be nice, but is not a must because it can probably be retrofitted relatively easily!? I already have a copy in view at the moment, which already has 320t km on the clock and am not interested in getting above average many surprises. How can I be sure that the car is “good? Are 320t km too much for 16t €? What else should I keep in mind? (Is a 2.4l D4 with 181 hp from 2016) chon times who has read up here VG Norman

Power loss at low speed. Then MIL.
Hello… I actually come from the Opel Forum but then it has become a used XC60 with me recently. To the car…. An XC60 model year 16 with the D4 (2.0L 181ps) the whole simple at a 6 gear manual gear without four wheel. To the fault picture: power loss under 2500u/min first noticed when the car at Friday noon at 120 in the 6th gear a slight climb high did not manage to keep the speed. But did not sooo notice strongly since i But somehow already in the back of his mind that he feels lower rum than the day before. Today it can then be like it had to come… The MIL/MKL went on of course during the weekend excursions Saturday after 1 pm so nothing with “just read out mistakes” Does the car have a typical flaw where you say “the food”? After Norlauf it doesn’t feel like I would type on it that the first turbo doesn’t work properly T. Thank you for the answers.

XC60 / 2010 – Automatic spinning in cold – Rubber band
Hello forum members, we have been falling for a few weeks, since the temperatures have fallen (under 5 degrees I guess) that our Volvo comes only slowly from the spot in the morning after cold start. It starts normally, runs normally round, only you have to give more gas, the speed goes up to 2500-3000 revolutions and it feels as if the hike stirs but no big drive comes on the wheels, like a rubber band or so… Uphill it is then quite annoying, because then you already ho After about 1.5-2 km drive everything is normal again, the power transmission then works perfectly again. Is there any winter program active until the automatic oil gets warm or should we let the oil change? Don’t know such a thing from our vehicles so far. Thank you for your feedback LG Markus

Recommended purchase V70 / V60
Moin together, I would like to buy a combination. Either a V70 or a V60. Preferably it should become a diesel. I have been looking for a bit longer and have found the 4 cylinders as well as 5 cylinders. I myself have a 850 5-cylinder and would like to take one again. What about the durability of 4 cylinders diesel with 181 hp? I found a V70 D4 which is interesting. What are the typical diseases? Is there something to consider? What are your experiences? Thank you and say hello to Nilsco

Vibrating from 145km/h
Hello ! I’m an enthusiastic Volvo all-wheel driver (Freak) and I’ve never had any problems with Punto drive! The engines(Benzin) or gearbox(Automaton) have already been in their own way. Now with my current V70xc Bj98. switch M57. 160000km I have the following problem , from 145 km/h on the track the complete Fzg. starts to vibrate. The more speed the more annoying the Vibros. at 160 it gets to you the brain out. I myself am a little technically savvy and ha Be already Kardan and left front drive shaft replaced, without improvement of the Vibros. Wheels are to zero and have no height stroke, the brakes can not be either (no vibrations during braking). Please for help! Am currently kilometer eater , 500Km a week and does not want to be on the track with 130. Greetings to the Volvofreaks!

My moose doesn’t start anymore
It started with “Ruckle” with constant accelerator pedal. Then it went out in idle mode. Just got up to my garage. Now it doesn’t start. Starter turns, spark spark there, no petrol odor (on the exhaust), candles dry. At the valve, at the front right of the petrol line injection, fuel comes when I press the pin. Flow noise in the area of the injection a few seconds after “Züdung”. All plugs and contacts with special contact cleaner spray handle elt – no change. Error injection system read out: 2-2-3 (as first message). Today you will read out all errors of injection system/motor control and ignition system/motor control and then reset all errors. Maybe someone from you has experience with this error. Greeting Hans

High oil consumption – Blue smoke
Hello Moose friends, need urgent advice! A few weeks ago the ZKD and the VSD were renewed due to blue smoke and high oil consumption in my 850s. 2-3 weeks everything was ok, then the same problem appeared again. Even after replacement of the oil trap no improvement in sight. I used to drive with 10W40 now 5W40. Fear that the piston rings are no longer in order. Is there still hope for my moose? Next month the TÜV is looking forward to your tips and ideas. n … “who rides the moose”

Volvo on Call – Activation does not work
Hello together, shortly after the purchase of my used Volvo V70 III summum (EZ 2015) I have completed a 2-year VoC subscription via the dealer. The dealer had this enabled with my data at Volvo. The corresponding activation fax is also available to me. Unfortunately VoC still does not work after a week. I already telephoned with various Volvo and VoC hotlines – the answer was always that my data was stored correctly and actually everything The error picture looks like this: I installed the corresponding Volvo on Call app on my iPhone, then signed in with my Volvo ID and performed the described steps to add my vehicle (take a seat on the driver’s seat, ignition on,…). At step 3/3 (verification) only stands for several minutes “Wait for your Volvo’s standby…” Then the whole thing will probably go into a timeout at some point and the message “Your Volvo responds I have tried the procedure very often. Also I have already deleted the app and installed it again, of course without success. Did any of you already have a similar problem with it? Is there any trick or something special to consider? Unfortunately, the dealer with whom I bought the vehicle and completed the subscription is about 150km away. So it would be a bit cumbersome only for the error analysis.. Many greetings, Fel ix
