Hello, I’m sure you’ve heard of this great “gas pedal tuning”. In principle, that doesn’t make anything more sensitive than the pedal movements – additional power exactly “0” – a real laugh. Today, however, I thought that I would like to have something like that “different around”. For my taste, my S80 3.2 – especially in the city – speaks to much too sensitive. You have to give gas like a spring. It would be nice if I could adjust the pedal less sensitively. you can even do this with tools like Vida? Or do you know a pedal box with which you can adjust the pedal less sensitively?

Light sensor indicator lamp dipped-beam??
Hello, I have a V60 with a light sensor. Now I noticed after a long time that I can’t determine from the inside whether the light is on or off. For the main light there is the blue lamp, but when the passing light is not displayed to me. Or am I just too stupid to find that after eight months of V60.

Switch for instrument cluster defective?
Moin, with my Volvo, V 70 , 2.5 T, Bj 2008, 166,000 km, spins the instrument cluster. The display shows, for example, that seat belts are not used in the rear, but can no longer represent other (error) messages. Only in extreme heat this succeeds. My Volvo dealer suspects a defect at the rotary switch (left on the steering wheel), cost of the part approx. 120 Euro, plus labor costs. Can someone tell me if the diagnosis is likely to replace the switch in self-direction. n can and which switch I can get where. On relevant portals I unfortunately could not find the part. Thank you for the help in advance. M. Sailor

XC90 replaces Audi A6 – finally !!!
Hello, the wait has finally come to an end. My first moose has been there since 16.5.2007 and replaces my Audi A6 3.0 Quattro. It’s an XC90 D5 summum What does it have? – Geartronic – sapphire black metallic – Speed-dependent servo – Airbag front passenger side switch off – integrated child seat – 5-seater (OK, ok, many prefer the 7-seater, but because of more legroom and more storage space – will hopefully not regret it) – laminated glass (super tip from you. Have a Conclusion: is really quieter with laminated glass) – sliding roof – parking aid in front and back (I also have bitterly necessary with my garage)[/list] What else should be pure? – Bluetooth Parrot CK3500 with Kram-Box (hopefully the “gseum-Jürgen” did not forget his red wine reward ) – standing heater (refitting in Venlo or in Strasbourg. Strasbourg is a tip from my friend, has someone already experienced with the French?) – tinting foil (3M or Foliatec, so that my How is my condition? (I am not yet able to do that) Best regards from the new owner Timo (who is constantly looking for n’ reason to move his moose and almost always manages it until the OHL speaks a power word) PS: Will my Audi A6 3.0 Quattro still miss, who has provided me with faithful services. May the Dickelch make EVERYTHING better!

the cars of our children …
Hello to the people, as always, one stands together sociably and it comes to the topic of children and their mobility. I stuck to a remark of a neighbor, which I can not at all share. “The children should earn their own money and then buy a small car, mine they don’t get.” ok, their own money already earns, a small car I can only buy conditionally share, because they belong to the risk group as well as in a panda not good at all I had to give the good man clearly on the way, that I can not share his bent world view. if my son has the feeling, he will certainly drive with my car. no matter where. have the scenario still in sight, when a young from the well-known circle with his newly acquired license and his whole proud (fiat quite small as cabrio) came home after a few days with a pile of scrap. it could have been slimmer. half my opinion: the beginners in “reasonable” cars. now I would be interested in your opinion. johannes

It will be an XC90 D5 Sport – no BMW, no Audi
The day before yesterday I had already announced that we will decide between Q7, X5 and XC90. The Q7 was simply too long and the huge cargo compartment flap bothered us. Now we have tested the XC90 D5 Sport today and were really impressed by the car, as before also by the BMW. But we will take the Volvo. Sure, the X5 has the stronger diesel engine and looks a little higher in the interior. But the Volvo – for our ideas – is a lot variabl It’s better to get on the third row of seats (but even recommended for small people) and you can lay all the seats, even the passenger seat! Our oldest thought that the rich even for the surfboard. At the BMW it would have become tight with our budget of 65,000 euros, at the Volvo we don’t even spend it. But that wasn’t the main reason, as I said, the variability was the most suited to our ideas. So it’s going to be just a Volvo. and no Q7 or X5. Probably it will be an XC90 D5 sport, I liked, liked my wife and the kitts. We could even get the one out of the showroom, full equipment, red. What do you think about it? Ringino

4 times H1 lamps – but which???
The MT search function is to the wüüüürggg… I would like to build 4 new H1, but which ones? To choose from: – Philips X-treme Vision – Philips Nightguide – Osram Nightbreaker I have to say that I am driving with light during the day (so really Swedish halt ). So I already thought about getting something more durable than dipped-beam and for the long-distanceglotters the meanest light swords (jajaaaaaaa, the poor counter-resistance and blablablabla… is Latte Quatsch, is only fun, I am eighth To hide on it at the right time… )

ABS sensors rear
Hello! I just noticed that the ABS sensors are mounted around the back right and left differently. Left the “rills” down and right up. Is that normal? Man can’t mount them around the wrong way, right? Background is the bright ABS lamp, so I wanted to clean rings and sensors.

S80 – Request for help. List of errors/codes in the attachment
First of all, I’m looking forward to: I’m from Dortmund and I’m a proud owner of a Volvo S80 2.4 petrol engine with 170hp and approx.160tkm from 1999. (All maintenance intervals were maintained and the car is a checkbook maintained) I’ve already read some threads that I’ve sometimes found very helpful here. Especially this one: http://www.motor-talk.de/…/…overtake-repair-t2835658.html and this one:http://www.motor-talk.de/…/…s-steuergeraet-repariert-t192 3830.html What moves me to open my own thread, which can be read in many of these threads of different symptoms, such as speed drop or expose the cruise control etc.. However, these symptoms do not show my moose. The moose drives quietly, has no start problems, does not go out and also the speed in idle is constant at about 900. Nevertheless, the error messages worry me of course. In the appendix I have the list of the evaluation of the error codes. My experiences In the area of “screwing” are rather small to classify. Alternator off and install, as well as changing bulbs etc. I got gloriously. (Not on this car) Based on the error list, what can you tell me? Should I remove and send in both the ABS control unit and the throttle flap? Please help my sick moose (and me) 😉 Addition: By the way, the whole thing started with the following error: Photo in the appendix
