  • V60 “Put higher”?

Hello together, I’m thinking if I should leave my V60 a few centimetres more high. Reason: The entry becomes easier (you don’t fall quite as deep) and more ground clearance. Then looks a little like a V60 CC. I find this quite chic. Is there someone here who has experience with such a thing? Which increase is recommended and can also be implemented without additional TÜV visit? I found a website with offers for the V60: https://www.spac cer.com/en. However, they call 1000 eurons for around 45 mm. (depending on the version). Is this perhaps a bit cheaper? I am very grateful for tips and links!

  • Tires changed- jacks bent?

Hello, I only changed the winter tires today (I didn’t get there sooner due to a stay abroad). I noticed a “cracking and I have the feeling that the car jacks have bent a bit at the front of the two car jacks on the rear axle. Has any of you already experienced similar things? I have used such a universal car lifter, which I already used for another, smaller one. Do you think this is normal or have I done something wrong or even broken? Can you do anything wrong if you place the jack correctly at the jacking points? I have attached some photos. Do you think this essay is more gentle for the car?https://www.amazon.de/…/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?__mk_en_DEÅMÅZÕÑ&qid=1530739441&sr=8-1-spons&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=car lifter+rubber pad&psc=1 Thanks a lot in advance!

  • XC60 Bj 2015 could not be braked while braking assistant intervened!!

Dear community, vll you’ve already heard of this braking problem of the XC 60 Bj 2015. I need your help if you know articles about it… would be great if you could send them to me. Now this is what happened: My sister slowly continued with my XC 60 bj 15 in a KOlonon. The driver in front of her braked a bit stronger and she braked as well… however, her reaction was a little too slow that the brake assistant intervened. While the brake assistant intervened, she braked But she noticed that her brake had no effect. So she got off the brake 1 2 times and braked again and harder so that she could get out of it. But she felt every time that her foot brake just didn’t have any effect. So it happened that she drove into the vehicle in front of her. Is there a known problem that when the brake assistant intervened, the vehicle brake didn’t have any effect???? I didn’t find any ARtikel on the Internet, but can you please tell me… 11th. Thanks u lg

  • tüv report and defects of v70, v60, xc60 and co

hello all elchdrivers, is the tüvreport from the year 2018 or 2017 correctly interpreted the v/s60, v40 and xc60 appear rather low in defects with tüv but the v70 (3) or xc70 are quite bad there? v/xc70 are explicitly referred to as fault giants. one goes into the last column (tkm) one cannot deduce from this the v70 and xc70 with exorbitantly high km numbers at tüv would have presented that legitimately. even if one takes the category “2-3 years”, come the last years ( facelift, veamotor) not really well away. or am I completely wrong? sources:https://m.bild.de/…/…tuev-report-52607478,view=amp.bildMobile.htmlhttps://www.vdtuev.de/dok_view?oid=688181https://www.tuv.com/…/…Maengelzwerge_AutoBild_TUeV_Report_2017.pdf

  • who knows the Aisin AW TF-80 SC?

Hello, have in my S80, year 2014, 3.2 an Aisin AW TF-80 SC, 6-speed GT. As you can read many times here, I am not the only one who considers the machine to be in need of getting used to. I now think that the abnormalities are due to construction and essentially side effects of the fuel saving force (and thus to reduce the CO value). Unfortunately I find no further information about the techniques used here, respectively optimized. and, reduction of converter loss during acceleration, switching strategy, etc.. Do you have further information, or do you know pages where I can research? I hope that I will then develop more understanding of my gearbox 😉 Gruss Joerg

  • 2.5T or D5?

Hello dear moose drivers After a long search for a suitable 2.5T I have not yet been able to discover a real moose of this species for me. That’s why I looked around on the diesel market, because there are much more offers available here. First of all there was the question of whether this is even worth it for me. According to some diesel gasoline calculators the D5 or 2.4D (163hp) is slightly in advantage in relation to the 2.5T. Ride in the year approx. 12,000Km, so not quite But now I have read here in the forum some reports, which advise against the purchase of a used diesel, because the engine could make mute ( injectors, turbochargers etc. ). My budget is about 12.500€, for this you get e.g. an EZ 2005 with 120,000-140.000Km 2.4D DPF Kinetic or a D5 DPF Kinetic. Can you buy such a car without hesitation? From 2.5T I have not heard anything negative here in the forum. Yesterday at the friendly times d Hui, compared to my 850 (106KW) there are worlds!! Of the costs (taxes/insurance/consumption calculated at 60 months) it hardly matters to me whether petrol or diesel. But what about the vulnerability of the two engines to repair?

  • Jump in the bowl (disc)

Hello guys, I ruined my windshield on Saturday morning. On Saturday morning (10:30) I cleaned the windshield. First a few times with water and detergent, then washed properly. When the soup was rinsed with clear tap water, it was suddenly popping and the windshield was in the ar… . A crack from the middle roof only 10 cm vertically down then 25 cm horizontally to the right (looking from the outside). Even if it was nice warm, it should really be can’t happen. Or ? Can there be ‘Phusch am Bau’ here ? Have an introduction to the friendly one in the morning anyway.

  • Project Subwoofer upgrade at High Performance Sound V60

Hello, since I have extended my V60 today by an active subwoofer, I wanted to post a brief instruction/description. Maybe who can use it also plays with the thought. Generally no rizzy thing, through the try have then become about 4h. An active subwoofer of Pioneer (TS-WX710A) was built in, because it fits exactly into the intermediate floor and thus the trunk is preserved. It is required: Subwoofer block fuse JLP 20A or 30A High/Low Adapter mi t Remote signal chinch cable short Small material (core sleeves, notch cable shoes, insulation tape, cable ties, wires) For the power supply of the subwoofer is a grey plug which is actually intended for the 12V socket. because I did not have this I could use the 12 V. Since the fuse is missing you need the block fuse. If a 12V socket is present in the trunk you can safely pick up this 12V. Mass point is in bumper proximity (driver side). For the high/low adapter we also needed 12V, I took this separately from a free safety place and secured with 7.5A. In addition, you need the speaker signals for the adapter. I took these under the passenger seat (orig. amplifier). So that the active sub fits into the intermediate floor you have to cut off the two corners (see photo) which also serve as cable entry. That’s actually it and the system works much better.

  • S80 T6 Executive 2013

Hello Together At the moment driving a C70 T5 automatic from 2008 with a good 140’000 kilometers and relatively good equipment I discovered a S80 T6 Executive 2013 on the used car market. This one has 127’000 kilometers. What do you think is a change worth it? How rare is the C70 with the T5 engine. How high would the exchange price be? (Switzerland)

  • V70 D5, he’s here 🙂

Dear people (from me speaks euphoria), I was on the road practically all day, with all the formalities and now he is at the door. I was lucky and quickly found a suitable car, after which I decided for an almost “full-year-old” V70 Diesel. The important facts: V70 Premium from 06/2002, 198 tkm. + luxury package and HU-803 with surround package (unfortunately not premium ) glass canopy, trailer coupling garage car with a previous owner who car has been car-maintaining Of course he has all the services (200 tkm at 192 tkm 4 months ago), all are in the checkbook and to all there were the invoices with it. All important things like front axle, parking brake jaws, injectors I find again in the repair invoices. So existing defects were fixed or these points were also checked regularly. Still existing defects, called by the seller directly, worn out summer tires (is clear, that is a used car!) and pixel errors in the BC, which I Goodie: practically new winter tires on Volvo-Alu. Tomorrow we go to the local dealer, DPF retrofit and check again, the good one. He tasted 6200.- and the seller also did not want to continue to act, what I can understand with the attention over the years and also very positive value. So, I am Happy, the 350 km return trip went very relaxed and were far too short and the moose thinks that his tank is still enough for 1000 km! annt!!! Best regards, Matthias
