Hello together, yesterday I picked up my newly hatched V60 Twin Engine – white, R design, quite lushly equipped, a really nice car. The electric operation PURE gave me puzzles however. When I started at the dealer, an electric range of 20 km was shown to me. Having arrived at home I was at 0 – fits so far. In the meantime briefly hung to the socket and wondered about the short time indication for the charging. In the evening then connected the car (Schu ko), battery was practically empty according to the display. A charging time of 2 hours (!) was forecasted, actually the system reported after this time “fully charged”, as range was shown to me in the vehicle and in the VOC app again “only” 20 km (about 50 km should it actually be). As far as I can find older entries, do you usually have significantly higher ranges, right? The dealer thinks it is due to the cold, but we had here yesterday 13 degrees, I am very s I’m sure I’ve been driving far more than 20 km at similar temperatures. I’m surprised about the short loading time and the indications “full load = 20 km”. I’d be happy if you’d tell me about experiences. I don’t want to go to the socket every day… Thanks & Greeting Ralph

Wind noise/acoustics from 140 km/h in the V60
The topic has been mentioned several times, strangely enough, there are different statements here. Vehicles from the same years of construction (think about until 2013 before the FL) are relatively quiet, others complain about the loud acoustics at higher speeds. Unfortunately, it is exactly the property that just bothers me at the moment. My impression is that the wind noises on the front side windows (no laminated glass) and/or on the windscreen arise. Then again dependent From the wind direction. Daily times louder, on other days again not so present. BUT, from approx. 140Km/h it just becomes loud in the vehicle. That can’t be normal in my opinion. Had already all the columns on the doors and mirrors glued off. That didn’t bring anything. The same side apertures on the A-pillar to the front window. Seals are obviously ok. Door setting also brought nothing. It is also so that the source is not locationable, but felt the The newer model years from 2013 have become a bit quieter, just what has been changed here? Is the changed front part the decisive factor here? How do you feel about the sound scenery, especially at higher motorway speeds? Greeting Quoti

Geartronic switching behaviour
At the moment I have problems with the switching behavior of the automatic with the V70 D3 MJ2015: When switching back at a speed of approx. 40km/h, the gear change in a warm condition often happens very jerky and uncomfortable – in the cold condition everything is OK. All other gear changes (up and down) run smoothly. Since mid-February (running power approx. 26tkm) this behavior occurs, before everything was unobtrusive. Meanwhile I had several appointments with Volvo, in the middle of February (running power approx. 26tkm) Error memory is nothing striking: 25.02.: Software update performed, a few days everything good, then again problems 03.03.: Adaption drive performed, 2-3 weeks everything good, then again problems 11.04.: Gear oil changed + Software update, 1 week everything good, now again problems Tomorrow I will talk to the master again. Is such a behavior of the GT known here? I drive now about 20 years cars with automatic – I have never experienced that before. My feeling tells me : There’s something wrong with the gearbox – I don’t really think it’s a control unit. I can’t imagine the state-of-the-art… What do you say about it? Maybe there are other people who suffer. Greetings turboaal-0

S60 remains ours:)
We decided today that the S60 will stay with us for 4 years after all. A lot has to be done. Brakes, door lock, transmission flush, Tüv, tires. But I have looked at new models. I love to drive it and it has no quirks. So why change… Is after all one of the last 5 enders

Exhaust gas cleaning symbol lights – V70/II, 2.4 CNG Year of construction 12/2005
Hello, What would you advise if our moose always lights up the exhaust gas cleaning symbol? According to the manual, it is supposed to be a fault in the exhaust gas cleaning system of the vehicle and it is recommended to check the error in the next Volvo workshop. This error has disappeared for a few days after a new firmware has been installed in the Volvo in connection with installation of the trailer coupling… I fear that this can be done with the Lambda probe. n… and these have to be changed… Greetings and thanks for your advice and experiences…

S80 tank cover – hinge
Hello together, I have used the search function – but most of the time the tank lid has been lost in the washing system or the locking does not open. My problem since today is the following: My tank lid can no longer pull the tank lid to the body when closing – so that it is a piece (about 0.5 cm) away (I could imagine that this was torn down in many “my tank lid in the washing system” thread creators here in the forum before I also mean to have heard a quiet cracking when opening. What broke there and what has to be changed (complete hinge/or only parts of it) ? What does it cost ? Is it possible to dismantle the “part” without destroying it ? I couldn’t really look now, since it’s already too dark. The lock still works – I pressed the lid after the place. I can’t leave it like that – otherwise I’m probably at the next a visit to the “My tank cover has been torn down in the washing machine” group. Thank you Udo

XC90 D5 Sport BJ 2007 – iPhone via Aux port
Hi, I’m new here and would like to introduce my DickeIch and ask for help when connecting my iPhone to the audio system. Since Friday I drive the new car and am enthusiastic. Only the turning radius and the simple audio system without a CD changer is in need of getting used to. I was spoiled by my V40 with Super Premium Sound System with Subwoofer, etc. Anyway, I want to connect my iPhone, on which I have a lot of music, to the system. About Bluetooth ha I already connect the phone to the installed Volvo hands-free device. That works fine. The transmission of the music should go after this forum via the AUX port. There are now the questions: 1. Kensington Liquid Aux Adapter (is there still the one?) or Kensington 2-in-1 Car Charger and AUX audio cable. 2. What is this cable that hangs out in the CD box. My iPhone does not respond to it. LG Cappuccino23

S60 T5 Chiptuning?
Hello, has any of you already experience with chip tuning at the T5? Car already has 70,000 KM, year 11/2003. Would you like to know if you can notice the difference between the 30 hp or do not make it that much. Have an offer of Chiptuning No1 power 184 (250) KW – after – (PS) 210 (286) KW (PS) torque 330 Nm- after – 420 Nm Including lifting the Vmax limit. The price is only 599,-€. incl. VAT and installation. Very cheap compared to MR Sweden…

S60 D5 Interior noise
Hello Volvo municipality, question about the indoor noise level in the S80, V70 and S60 cars with diesel engine. My current S60 D5 5G car (163 hp / Bj 2005) has a partly unpleasant resonance (brummen) between the speeds 140 km/h and 160 km/h thus around +/- 3000 tours. It looks relatively loud. Above and below it is pleasantly quiet and cultivated. Since I have driven a V70 D5 BJ 2003 parallel I know how silky a D5 can run. Is this because of the older gear-driver Omatics of the V70 (without gear) or were the older models better damped? The extra price (more insulation wool?) may also have played a role, because the S60 was always significantly cheaper than a V70 gliecerh design. In the optical comparison of the vehicles I could not notice any differences on the components such as engine bearings, exhaust or lining of the engine compartment e.g… Question finally, someone gained insights how the vehicles differ and perhaps in the speed range One thing is much better by the way: the suspension and the comfort of the spring is softer and not so stuccoy at the S60. It may be located at the level lift of the V70…

sporadic, strange starting behavior 6-speed Geartronic
Hello, There are some topics about the 6-speed Geartronic and its behavior. But I don’t know if my question fits in, so I try it with my own thread. To my “problem”, which is a bit difficult to describe and I could already observe about 5x with my XC60 (MJ2016): After inserting the switch position “D”, the car does not roll off by itself when I go off the brake. I give off a little gas then, but it feels briefly as if “N” Then the car “hops” slightly rough forwards and somehow I have the feeling that it then starts with the four wheel switched on. It’s very difficult to describe as said, because it has happened very rarely so far and you can’t reproduce it. And when it happens, it goes so fast that you don’t even know what it was. It just feels different. Almost as if there was no gear inside at first and then the Haldex is switched on. And if it’s easy to climb up. Any ideas?
