  • Engine replacement 5254S for 5254T

    Hello, I drive a 96er 850 with the B5254S ( 170hp suction cup ). As a battle vehicle I have a 850 AWD with the B5254T ( 193hp Turbo ). I would like to completely overhaul the turbo engine and then install it instead of the suction cup. This is not my first engine replacement, but my first one with a Volvo. Therefore I have a few questions. – I assume that the engine fits purely mechanically “plug and play”. Of course I also have to install the cooler from the Turbo and the LLK. s right? – Do I have to replace the complete motor harness? – Can I use the transmission from the suction cup? – Can I keep the braking system from the suction cup? The whole thing should be properly done by TÜV. – Do I miss anything else? If someone is wondering why I want to do the work because of 23hp here a short explanation. I plan to prepare the whole vehicle gradually after the engine change for an increase in performance (brake, chassis, etc. ) to in not too distant Zu The goal is about 230 to 250 stable, everyday horses. If I close it, I don’t pick it up and only the driver’s door opens. Do you think that only the driver’s lock has been changed and that’s why I have different keys?     Hello guys, I’m facing the following problem: I left the job today and the engine was already a bit suspicious. Especially at low speed my heard a bright whirring or howling from the engine compartment. When I arrived I opened the bonnet, the alternator steamed properly. It clearly smelled like burnt oil and plastic. In a slight rush of panic then I tipped some water over the alternator. The part was boiling hot. But from the outside the alternator looks good. No signs of broken parts on the engine (from the outside). When I put the key into the lock nothing happened. With nothing I mean nothing at all, no lights, no movement, even on the 2nd and 3rd stroke of the lock. Can anyone say what that could be!? I thought that the mass cable of the battery could be loose, but there was nothing to find. Could it be that of the belt broken bz w. is emptied and therefore the howling noises came. Through the water I then triggered a short circuit and now nothing is happening anymore? Would I be happy about helpful tips! thank you already in advance

    Moin… I have a c30 ez.12/2007 and according to FIN mj08 and in this is a “high performance sound” system installed. I have an aux input in the middle armrest and use this in the moment to listen to mp3 via mobile. Now it is quite cumbersome and I want to listen and control mp3 via usb/cd on the radio direct. As far as I am informed, my radio mp3 would have to be able to play via CD. But does it not start from me unknown. Now to my question: Why does my radio not play mp3-cd? W he I can upgrade usb and what did it cost? (No ipod and no Bluetooth needed)

    I was at the TÜV today and it challenged the crossbars, the front jack is knocked out. I want to change the crossbars myself, which you get from approx. 105 EUR (lem conveyor). Should the support joints be changed with the same thing? I now have 370 TKM down, but don’t know if and when something has been changed on the suspension.
