Hello, looking for a high-quality car (so far not very satisfied with Opel and Mazda) I have come across Volvo through the BMW Forum. Background is that I would like to have a LPG car that is affordable in maintenance (maintenance/inspection and repairs) and shines with a good workmanship. So far, for opt. reasons, I have not been able to really get along with a Volvo (especially the V70). But the advantage of Bi-Fuel technology is for me a What are your experiences / opinions about the 2.4 (103 KW) Bi-fuel vehicle?? What about the consumption??? Currently, a dealer nearby has a V70 2.4 Momentum as a Bi-fuel with 103KW and 18.300 KM for 24.900 on offer. Is this a good offer? The capacity for the PS number is quite large. Is this rather positive or negative? For tips and aids I am grateful!!

Conclusion of All-In contract for XC90
Since yesterday I have been driving XC90 Sport (photos soon), here another technical question. The dealer offered me a full contract service (without tires), cost point approx. 75 EUR per month with a mileage of 80,000km and 48 months. Now my question: What are the workshop costs for the car? What do the inspection costs and what other repairs are to be expected at 80,000km? I am not sure if the conclusion is worth it, after all you pay 900.00 EUR p year.

Are there any smokers in this forum?
Hello together, I have deliberately stopped the post in this subforum, because it is about the XC/P24. I smoke less often than before in the car, but in traffic jams time and again. In the older V70 (that was the P26) there was an oval ashtray for the beverage compartment, which fits nicely flat in this compartment, so that you could close the cover anyway. Did someone try if this ashtray fits also in the round beverage compartments of the newer models? o-Repurchase ash cups are too high out of the compartment, and the original with the aluminium lid from the smoker’s package is clearly too far in the back. I only use this as a storage compartment for chewing gum etc.. Thank you in advance. I can also quietly condemn myself for smoking (is in vogue today), if you connect it with a helpful answer.

new competition for the V70: Skoda Superb Combi
Hello people, certainly not exactly the same car, but there will surely be people who compare both cars before buying one another. More car for the money will certainly be given to Skoda and also the entry price will not be like the V70 at 30,000 EUR. One or the other family papi will get into the pondering… here goes to the gallery of Skoda: www.skoda-auto.de/index.php?e=1-32-7-1&mod=1&bid=#5218 and from AMS: http://www.auto-motor-und-sport.de/… 1411256.html 85 pictures: http://carscoop.blogspot.com/…/…erb-estate-mega-photo-gallery.html greetings, Eric

Purchase advice V70 from 2014
Moin, I’m currently looking for a spacious family carriage. I’ve shot myself on the V70. The following basic data are necessary for me: The following basic data are sufficient conditions for me: Do you have any tips for me, what could be really superfluous of it? Can you bring the AHK into the price negotiation with you? Are these realistic ideas? If you have any questions, I’ll be happy to expand my list! 🙂

Volvo also complains to the diesel driver
Hello interested, I am still new in the forum. I drove a Saab 9.5 station wagon for about 15 years. I “changed” the vehicle with 171000 km four weeks ago for an XC 60 D5 diesel with 205 hp. It is 4 years old and has just done 106000 km. Now it is spread in the media that besides VW also particularly Volvo with the exhaust gas values should have cheated. What comes to the diesel drivers? Will the individual possibly have to bear the consequences or will the manufacturers I can’t imagine that politics will accept the sometimes very high differences in the emission values measurements. I’m a little concerned about the future of today’s diesel engine. Please write your opinion. Greeting from the coast

T6 suffers from incontinence
Today saw that it has fresh oil stains in my car park. So in the afternoon to the check. Did not find anything from where this came because the whole engine was smeared with oil. So evaporated and agreed I will pass on Monday morning. In addition they have 1 liter of oil refilled. Although it was before 3000 Km in the mache because I had already increased oil consumption. Was then everything ok. Oil he has not lost any. Until now. I have covered a box, it drips munter before I’ll go by tomorrow and take a spare car with me, but at 100t Km he just drove in.

Intake tube of under watered
Moin Fahre currently has a V70 D5 from 2002. But I intend to switch to the new model in the foreseeable future. I posted this post already in the V70 II forum, but unfortunately I didn’t get any feedback yet. Maybe I’m more lucky here. So I looked at a V70 III with D5 engine a few days ago. Actually the engine is nice dry. But… the intake tube is very smeared from below. I’m not sure if the oil or diesel is. The pipe comes from the air filter (gear transmission). From the bottom, a perhaps 3-4cm thick tube goes to the intake pipe (just before the intake pipe goes to the rear (crank housing ventilation?)). I think that the dirt comes from this area. Does anyone have any idea what problem the engine might have, possibly worn out piston rings or weak spot seal? I know, is a little like coffee set lehserei. But maybe it is also a well-known pro blem. Would I be very pleased about friendly information. LG Ralph Oh yes, does someone have the opportunity to get something out about the car using the VIN?

e10 – real driving values available?
Howdyho, I don’t want to open an e10 discussion thread here, of which there is probably enough in the net! However, I would like to know if anyone can pass real Volvo values here?Bsp: My 140hp vacuum cleaner probably needs just under 1.5 ltr on average more, and the top speed drops by 15kmh to poppy 190 points Well, and if I’m on the AB with lead foot, then the on-board computer doesn’t count only 18,4 ltr as usual, but ends up with almost 22litres! That would interest me! lem also, as our turbo fraction and possibly the R-drivers have already tested with it. Tightly into the round, the Tom
