  • Driving safety training

    Since our off-road meeting is on ice for the time being, probably until autumn, I looked around a little bit, what else you could do. Basically I would say that corresponds to the training offered to the VOLVO, but the prices are more moderate than with VOLVO. If you do it on Saturday, then you can do something together at night on Sunday.     Dynamo Day in Switzerland Hi , For all those who want to know how much power/torque their moose has in reality, I would reserve a 4 wheel dynamometer for a Saturday morning only for the moose drivers. After that ride quite comfortably 1-2 passes, and of course go to a cozy pub eat. Date I think will be in October.   • Weld track rod!!!

    Since I don’t get a track rod for a Civic MA8 5-door Bj.96, neither new, nor used or in replica, I have to weld the broken track rod!! Now my question: What material is such a track rod made of? Pure iron, steel or a mixture???? Maybe someone knows what material it can be, so that I know what I can weld it together with!! I am grateful for every tip. mfg Martin

  • Accord 06 Color

    I’m thinking about buying an accordion (limo). i.e. it’s already relatively fixed, because no other brand brings me an offer that is acceptable to me. (well, I don’t like the honda offer yet 100%) for me, I’m just thinking about what color it’s supposed to be. I swan between silver,artic blue and black. would have liked opinions to be one of these colors. pictures would be even better. can’t get through to a color right now. with us, also one drives around in red. bin f raw, that I don’t see it so often, because I liked it too. but I don’t want any red as car color outside.

  • Civic 06 + Audio Upgrade…

    What possibilities do I have, without original Honda accessories, to improve the audio system in the new Civic considerably? In the old VEi, of course, I had power amplifier, subwoofer and large speakers in the hat rack… But I don’t want to “bask” the new car. Does anyone know where audio cables are usually in the newer cars, possibly up to the trunk? Or is it worth simply replacing the speakers in the rear doors with better ones, in order to significantly more bass Who can help?

    Hello I’ve had a Civic EP 4 (1.7 L. Diesel , 2005 model) for a month now. The car now has a bit more than 2000 km on’m tacho, so it’s almost new. The second time was today. First 5 min. waited until suddenly the current was back again, then again tried – electricity away again ! Then over 15 min. waited until the current was back again. And then I could start again normally. As promised … with many dozens of start operations so far no more power – everything is dead. All … NIX goes more ! After a certain waiting time it goes again, or the whole game starts again. r 2 times happens. All fuses are healed, corrision is not present, battery is impeccable, all the best! I guess something to do with either : immobilizer or ignition lock …. But otherwise I am absolutely perplexed …. Does any of you have any idea where the worm is here ? P.S. Of course I drive into the workshop on occasion. I’m just afraid that if the error doesn’t occur right now, they can also say a lot ….   • EP2: Heating temperature rotary controller only difficult and now defective

    Unfortunately I have a bigger problem today, after only 3 weeks: I noticed from the beginning that the rotary controller of the heating/cooling is a little difficult. If you wanted to turn from cold in the direction of warm, always a little bigger resistance came before you could turn on. When I wanted to turn the rotary controller again in this direction, it hooked again, but a little stronger than before. After I want to turn again in the direction of cold and then again in the direction of warm. e, it was short “knack” and futsch was the act. I guess that there was somewhere the Bowden train hung out, or even a little broken off. Was then immediately in the Honda workshop: “Yes that is not usual with Honda. We had never before with the model.” There you would have to disassemble everything to see at all what the problem is. And if then still parts have to be ordered, then it takes a little longer. And only to expand the radio one would need about 1 hour…. My questions: Is it normal that the temperature controller is heavy? Did anyone ever have a similar problem with the EP model? Is it really so hard to answer, or can it be done elsewhere? How do you get out the series CD radio the fastest to get to the heating control? Of course everything goes on guarantee, but probably I’m off the car over the weekend… because once they have built everything apart and then something has to be ordered, of course they will not assemble it again until the parts are there.
