    I would be interested in which speed (e.g.) VTEC switches. I have already heard all possible values between 2800 and 6300. I have also been told that VTEC would always be switched on and there is no switching at all. I am interested in the 1.6 SOHC 110 HP 16V.

  • 440 1.8i runs restless and rough in cold or wet weather

    hello together, drive a 440er 1.8i with 90ps and have the problem in cold or wet weather that the car runs totally rough and restless. when giving gas sit everything great, but as soon as you walk off the gas and let the car roll in the still gas or on straight track only with even gas the car runs as said totally rough, restless and constantly vibrates. in warm weather and sunshine that does not occur at all… I recently had the error memory read out, o-ton: “A vacuum air temperature sensor false/no signal” … can this possibly come from this? has any of you had similar experiences, possibly also with another vehicle, and can give me a tip? thank you oh yes: spark plugs and cables I have also renewed…

  • Honda sucks!!

    Unfortunately, I got convinced by my wife to order a CR-V. That was April 2nd. After three times the demand I was given at least year and month of delivery. It can’t be that this car has 6 months delivery time. A date is of course too much demanded, but at least as a year is still there 2007. From this one can only conclude: The computer age passed by Honda. The orders are still passed on to wax tablets. That has the Romans already worked… Nowadays there are production management systems, there are exactly how many screws are needed in 5 weeks at 12:13. Only these pipes at Honda doesn’t matter… Unfortunately, this thing is screwed together in England. Unfortunately, I didn’t know before. They have already driven their entire car industry in basics.. I don’t know about quality… annoying Then I asked at the “customer service” how I transferred my POIs into the new Navi kan n. Ohh, very bad question, at least they could find out that an Alpine device was installed. That’s all that came out. No problem with my TomTom, with the 500€ part of course not possible That was my first and last Honda! If it is delivered then sometime…hah my wife has to drive it…I already have a real car

  • Original sound system Civic FK – great!

    Hey guys! I read all the time only >Critical on the original bass works system for the FK. That’s why I was very critical at the beginning. But since I didn’t want to have a boot with a subwoofer installed and got a great offer from the dealer, I am now proud (!) owner of the complete system. i.e. the tweeter already installed in the sport, the bass works system and the co-axial speakers at the front… And what should I say?? Very well tuned, 1A sound image, clean sound both at low as well as high volume, no snoring and laughing… So really nothing to expose. And that even though my preferred music direction (Death- or Blackmetal, Metalcore) has really bad basses and highs and thus every sound system strongly demands! Now it can be that I get around 2000€ or also around 1000€ something better, but what forgets everything here. The bass system costs with good negotiation skills without installation (I made myself, was done in 30min) and write 500€, And at the price I get really nothing much better… So who feels insecure now when he hears all the criticism of the original system, but is deterred by (definitely superb but) very expensive high-end systems, to him only one thing is said: The Honda system is very good for the price (incl. discounts), its money is worth abslut and also perfectly matched to the car.

  • Civic 2006 Brakes -Novelties

    So I have to draw a line now. Why everyone says that the Honda Civic FK (2006) has soooooo bad brakes. After having read the first thread, how the brakes can brake so badly from a new car. I had to teach myself through a test drive of a better one. The test drive is already some time back but I found the brakes in this great, one of the best I was ever allowed to kick. I guessed myself now at my Honda dealer Most tests of the brakes of the Honda Civic are based on test drives, so we are on the way to the big problem. When testing, the vehicles usually stand for longer time, the brake discs show after some time, if not use corrosion. Brake discs rust, belay themselves just like the brake pads they solidify and are usually brittle.     Hi people, In the KW 50 finally my beautiful Civic (see signature) is delivered. My now car has thus retired. It is in a terrible condition.The mentioned vehicle is a Opel Astra F Bj. 93 in white 161151km. Defects are: oil tank seal leaks, brake hoses are porous, axle cuffs torn(oil runs out), exhaust completely dead, rust at the whole body, holes at the threshold, timing belt cover is missing, some engine parts rusted etc. Where I at ATU for 30 € an oil blower Now you know how it looks. My Honda dealer would take the box counter-performance:Full tank at vehicle delivery. Is something too little for me.I hope I get rid of the box for 150-175 €. Do you have any advice for me what I should do? Because in the used car sale I don’t have any experience that I’m being tricked by any Eastern Europeans.

    hello people I collect unfortunately at honda dealers and workshops even only negative experiences and the word kulanz there is not really there. list everything that has gone so wrong up to now would have been a bit much for the current topic, possibly followed later in another thread. however, what is enormously burdened me is that after a “repair” of my FK2 (some may remember the long scratcher with dellen over the complete right side), where not only the price (okay went to the v I could not pick up the car until 1 day later than planned because allegedly “the paint had gone away”, which was displayed as a lie in a conversation with the performing paintr, unfortunately he did not want to light up with the whole truth either. the problem is now the following: notice that the car seemed quite scratched I had already mentioned at the time of the takeover, but it was not meant by those (im After that I think that the surfaces that were freshly painted were only scratched with those)… but the real dimensions I saw unfortunately only a few weeks later in bright sunshine. the car was literally messed up with polishing machines!! unfortunately photos of my mobile cam can not really capture that. holograms and streak over the whole vehicle!! (why is the whole vehicle polished when only one page has been painted?) at some places looks ma n right as with the machine was “improved” again… only the way I know the workshop and how I have been treated there so far I can imagine how to react to me if I want to complain after weeks. you will not take me seriously at all, that has never been done there, although I could have gone to any other place with the order. an email with the condition of the paint has not been logged up to now. what can I do? after long time? what w would a complete vehicle painting cost with better paint and clear varnish? with so much improvement and polishing there will be no paint left on my soon 🙁 EDIT: my expensive nanover seal is so naturally even if the whole car has been polished!! all the money just gone!?
