  • External temperature Question for display

    Moin people, I have a question about the outside temperature display. Actually I only wanted to read out the parameters of my ventilation/climate for comparison purposes because I have a problem with another car, use Delphi for this. Delphi shows me working -30 Gard at the outside temperature, in the instrument cluster we display the actual temperature correctly however I have the feeling that the control does not function quite correctly in the automatic position, but did not disturb me because I always hand na Where does the information for the temperature display in the comb instrument come from? Sensor in the bumper? Ask me if the sensor is defective or Delphi tells me nonsense.

  • Grinding sound while rolling

    Hello Ihrse, BJ 1997 TD 90 PS 152tkm wheel bearing according to 2 workshops and Tüv complete i.o. for some time a grinding noise bothers me while driving. It is best to hear it when rolling at idle speed. I would type it from the front but in the car it is very difficult to locate it. Was already in 2 workshops but they dismissed it as a rolling noise of the tires. To my opinion this can not be for the following reasons: 1. Also on the dirt road, where through the Unter 2. as soon as I step on the brake the noise is gone! 3. The tires are almost as good as new and with other tires (winter tires) I have the same noise. When I pick up the car I have a grinding noise at the back of every wheel crashing{ the workshop said that would be normal and not to be heard during the ride. (nothing can be heard on the front wheels when I turn the brakes) Brakes in front are also complete 2 months ago The sound disappears at about 50 km/h, but between 150 and 160 is again intensified … over 160 to limit lt. Tacho just over 190 is nothing more to hear. what do you think about it? It is a rhythmic grinding/singing noise faster or slower depending on the speed. I strongly tap on the brakes but the workshop, which has only recently completely renewed the brakes, denies the vehemently.   • Car gas in the V40 Turbo

    Hello, I’m new to this forum and would like to share my experiences that I’ve made with autogas only briefly to maybe encourage one or the other to think, so that maybe it doesn’t happen similar to me. About 3 years ago I had an autogas system built in Landi-Renzo and was very satisfied. When taking gas on the highway at about 120 km/h (from about 140km/h) the Lambda warning lamp burned, and that happened to me often, (the warning lamp went after the 7th time start again) I went to the Werstatt again, it was re-regulated and from there no more prblems. With this gas system I drove now almost 70,000 km and had no problems anymore up to a slight jerking when I gave again gas after the gas take. Now came the disillusionment. After a approx.30 km long highway drive (approx. 130km/h) and a rise (6%) a little faster lif the engine only on 3 pots. Conclusion was a burned away valve. r Wekstatt where I have the Zyliderkopf repaired was the first question whether the car drives with car gas, otherwise the valves and seats would have to be made gas-proof. Maybe everyone of the gas installation before has to ask themselves at the brand workshop whether these concerns express – that is definitely cheaper than an engine damage, because there is a powerful tail attached to it. Maybe someone has had similar experiences. I would be pleased with answers.

  • Acceleration Civic FK3

    Hello, I was a little bit busy today with my FK3 sport and tried to make a little acceleration video. The video has 3 “errors”: First I had to do it with the mobile phone, second the conversion of the 3GP file to AVI is simply a madness, if you don’t have proper software and third the video is wrong for me inexplicable reasons. So if I look at it on the mobile phone and on my PC, then it is correctly recorded. It’s strangely wrong. Unfortunately. Probably because of the bad conversion software. I will look for something better tomorrow. Besides, the video is anyway only a test attempt because I did not give full throttle. I will start a new start tomorrow – full throttle, longer runtime and better image quality. If someone finds a good conversion software, I am very grateful, otherwise I will be looking alone until tomorrow. Had not much time today.
