One year is long, one year is turbulent. This applies to all areas of life, of course also to all experiences and events around your beloved motorized kit. But did you really love it all year round? Or did there be problems and annoyances with your vehicle or the manufacturer’s service in 2012? As in previous years, we would like to know from you how happy you were with your Honda in 2012. Even though the year has not yet come. As you certainly know, we have a direct connection to most vehicle manufacturers. That almost every manufacturer reads along on MOTOR-TALK is also no secret. That’s why this survey is also a nice opportunity for you to give direct feedback to Honda. They are happy about praise – and they are grateful for constructive criticism. Tell us in the survey and as a comment how your personal car year 2012 was with your Honda!

Say goodbye to the Honda community (now drive Mazda)…
Due to personal changes I decided to replace my Accord Coupè with a more family-friendly vehicle. It has become a Mazda CX-7 with the 2.3-turbo gasoline (yes, unfortunately. V6 is not available). I don’t like SUVs and even less turbo gasoline, but here the offer has simply voted (11/2007, 121tkm, full equipment, 8 times tyres by 11,000€). The booms are true, which should not be surprising at 260PS/380Nm. Nevertheless, 1.8t vehicle is still attached. He didn’t invent, even if he is quite sporty. But what the hell. Now girlfriend and dog have a decent place for that. I will certainly look in again and again, but probably now more in the Mazda forum. Greetings, Zeph

Presentation of my little elk
Hello @ all ! after I have been reading here for some time, I would like to introduce myself and the moving V50 times briefly. My V50 listens to the name “Nasenbär” (my brother-in-law gave him this name) and somehow it fits even if you look at it sideways. I am working a lot with the vehicle (about 1,500km per week) and did not want to have it. But is a business car and since I am only an employee, I had to take it. A V70 was my boss too expensive At least he got himself convinced to a momentum with sports suspension, roof railing and high-p/changers. He wanted to order a kinetic with nothing but RTI/Teflon, DALA, PDC rear and AHK. But RPF was not in any way in question for him! Despite all this I will drive the car now and get to grips with my schiksal. However, the “nasal bear” starts just as much with small cocks (see “Best of…” thread) as its predecessor (Renault Laguna 2.2dCi). I hope it ends differently ! cu… S ven

S40 vs. V50
Should I take an S40 or a V50? Actually, I find the S40 more elegant, the line is more chic. The V50 is more practical, the cargo space is better accessible than through the rather small loading hatch at the S40. I do not necessarily need a station wagon, but if you need it then … The overview to the rear is worse with the S, but it is 5cm shorter (but probably not really what off) Otherwise everything is the same, or there are more Differences?

Which Bluetooth hands-free system for V50
Where did you place it ? Where is the display (fals available) ? Does the MUTE circuit work with it ? External or internal speaker solution ? Thank you for your experience. Background of these questions: My dealer has sold me the Parrot LS 3200. Unfortunately, it can not be connected to the Volvo MOSTBUS system, because it only has ISO plugs. Does anyone have experience with it ?

V50 2.0D (Peugeot engine)
The old song of the V50 2.0D is already familiar here. Especially in connection with the soot particle filter, which causes constant trouble. Also many complain about the V-Max. of the V50 2.0D. The days I drove the new Audi A4 Avant 2.0TDI, with 140hp. The vehicle drives according to the manufacturer 207km/h peak. Without problems the vehicle has come to the speed, also the engine has been much more powerful. Either something is wrong with my V50 2.0D or in connection with the soot particle filter, However, what comes the same as the information from the manufacturer is a laugh number compared to the Audi. By the way, it is indicated that the Audi needs 9.9sec. up to 100km/h and the V50 2.0D 9.6sec. I can tell you that the Audi will definitely leave the V50 standing. So much for the 2.0D topic, which in my view was a mistake to buy.

Help with the purchase of Volvo V70
Hello, I greet everyone. I need help from you and thank you in advance. I’m in love with Volvo V70 Second generation (1999–2007). I want the car with diesel engine. What kind of engine would you recommend to me? I didn’t have a Volvo before. I had Renault, Peugeot, Skoda, but Volvo is my dream. I live in Czech Republic and friends say: “Buy Skoda Octavia TDI Kombi.” Yes, that’s not bad car, but Volvo I like much better. M a question? First of all, I heard that Volvo has expensive spare parts and repairs. What problems, investments can I expect if I buy a Volvo with about 200,000 km? How much can I drive with the engine? I want to use the car for about 3-5 years. I don’t suffer more than 7,500 – 8,000 euros for the vehicle. What should I control when buying? What do I usually have to check after buying? What can it cost on average? I want d buy a car in Germany, I can’t afford a car dealer in the Czech Republic to win me money. Besides, my friend has a workshop and I know that the speedometer pulls off and falsification of the customer service book is no unknown behavior in many people. Where can I find the car? I know ebay, scout24, mobile.de…? Yes, I know many questions at the beginning. Other questions, so later, I look forward to your help and I hope you have understood my questions. Gr uß Jan

V70 with high mileage?
Hello together, looking for a suitable moose and my ever-recurring questions I have come across this forum. Certainly this topic has already been discussed in many topics, but I really did not find 100%. I am going to sell my current car in a short time and am looking for a replacement as it has always been a favorite of mine, I want to take the step and get a V70. Now comes the catch. Unfortunately, my budget is limited. t (< 4.300€) and therefore I can only afford a V70 with relatively high mileage. Does anyone have experience in buying a diesel or gasoline engine with a mileage > 180,000 km? If so, what do I have to pay attention to when buying? Do the engines hold for a while? Or is it advisable to buy another model? (What would be the very last option for me, is a dream car) I would also be interested in whether a petrol engine or diesel is worth more nowadays (running power per yes hr zw. 25.000 – 30,000 km)? Especially the question has been answered very often, however, answers with regard to my question would be great. So the high mileage and the current tax development of diesel models? Maybe someone even knows a V70 which is currently sold and in a good condition ists I thank everyone already in advance for the efforts and hope to get great and helpful answers.

Volvo 850 for two days :-), some questions.
Hello, two days ago I bought myself quite spontaneously a Volvo 850 Kombi, 106kw, built in 1997. I have long swarmed for Volvos and had the impression to have made despite some defects with this now a good opportunity and purchase. The flaws are the following: optical, medium hail damage with approximately eurostück large dellen, but what is still in the frame is in my view, two quite visible scratches and one with closer look; technical defects are that the gear shift et which is cumbersome, but you get used to it quickly, the rear tailgate (combi) no longer stops on its own and what makes me worry the most, that the ignition has a wackler, it starts without problems, however, the lighting and interior lighting always works only once you shake at the key. Since I have to now with the dare to tuv, it makes me worry the most, as already said, because also so electronic things are usually very expensive. I was able to trade the price from 2400 euros down to 1800 euros and think that this is not a bad price, at 115 000km. In addition, many important repairs such as timing belts, crossbars etc. have been made in recent years. What I noticed afterwards was that the rear two side belts clamped, which could probably give problems at the Tüv. I am clear that these have to be put in order one way or another, however I would be happy if I could My questions are now: 1. Was the price reasonable? 2. What could this have on me with the wobble contact? 3. Where can I get cheap, but good spare and wear parts like brakes? Thanks already in advance!!!
